For the record, I absolutely hate needles, but I don't mind acupuncture (too much). The needles are really small, and do not feel at all the same as getting a shot. The initial consultation costs more than regular visits, but she spends a lot of time trying to figure out what is going on with your body and trying to figure out how she can help.
