Kicking off the New Year with my first visit to the Immerse HydroSpa & Massage!…read more What a fun experience - you first start with a Water Fall Bucket (spoiler - its COLD) and then go into the sauna - having done the water bucket first, the sauna was easier to handle so I didn't overheat too much and loved the red light in it. Next was experience shower - i selected relax, it was mostly warm and very refreshing after that a 12 min dip into the hot tub. Following that was the ice fountain - you think putting ice on your body would be odd but coming out from the hot tub it felt amazing. We then headed to the steam room followed by a cold plunge (we only lasted a minute!!) and ended in the salt tepidarium. Staff was very helpful and at times would pop in with a wet cold towel (always at the perfect time) and while in the salt tepidarium surprised us with a healthy juice shot. Love an experience and this one was truly great! They provide a watch so you can keep track of your time and the stations! As well as sandals that can go into all the areas - even the pools! Can't wait to return for more!

She also remembers that I don't like the front of my neck touched and other little details. Her technique seems to be the perfect fit for me and she's the only person other than my partner I trust to touch me so I can really relax (and I'm the type of person who needs to really relax)! First, when I book an hour massage and include 2 add ons (dry brush and foot scrub), I don't expect them to be bundled within my one hour massage. It should be an hour massage plus the add-ons. My girlfriend was fine with hers (except for reason above), but 2 issues with mine. First, Kaitlyn did ask me if I wanted any area to have special attention and I said my scalp. Just before the massage ended, I think she may have massaged my scalp for a minute. Second thing: my entire massage was with me face down. My girlfriend was asked to roll over, but I remained face down the entire hour. I have never had an hour massage when only one side was treated. Despite that, I gave them each a $20 tip for their time, but neither of us are inclined to return. And if you are thinking they must have been busy that day, no. There was no one in the waiting area when we arrived and one person walked in when we were leaving. The room itself was SUPER chill, like dimly lit, trippy music playing, essential oils misting, etc. etc. Really wild. The thing I didn't notice initially was that when we first walked in, it felt too warm...maybe? But once things got moving, it was actually perfect. They instructed us to disrobe as much as we were "comfortable", which for me was not disrobing at all. I was actively told by my wife that was NOT, in fact, an option. They also offered to let us use the bathroom across the hall if need be. Pro Tip here: When they offer, if there is ANY part of you that thinks you might even need to use it just a LITTLE, you should do that. Let's just leave it at that. About 5 minutes later they came back in and got started. So they basically like work your back, arms, legs, etc. Then flip you over and do like the front of your legs, arms, head neck etc. It seemed very structured and planned out in a certain way, which I appreciated. Again, having nothing to compare it to, I can only say how it was for me. And for me, it was freaking amazing. The best money I've ever spent on any kind of like "luxury thing". Felt like a completely new man afterward and have been back twice since. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of the people that worked on us, but at this point, I'm pretty sure that no matter who you get, you'll be happy. Also, I elected to pass on the feet and glutes option cuz no way that's ever happening, but my wife did not and highly recommends that you do not either!
