I have called multiple times for an update. I spoke with David (owner) twice. I was told it was a problem with my email and he would resend. I called again this week and spoke with someone else. She told me she would look into the problem with my quote. She returned my call after and told me David "ran out of daylight" to complete my quote. Unreliable company who seems to not be interested in new work. Now a month behind in my project, but have since had another company out, quote obtained and service booked.

Rod from One Man Gang Electrical who is a licensed master electrician travelled down and did 3/4 of the work in one day, turned our electrical back on, and came back a week later and finished the rest. Quote was very reasonable and the workmanship is top notch. Good if you need an electrical panel replace, or electrician services in Omaha Ne for electrical work on your residential or commercial electrical.

Universal Electric was called to my home for what appeared to be a breaker issue. By the time their…read moretwo technicians arrived, the issue had already resolved itself. I asked them to investigate further in case the problem returned, but they declined, saying "there's nothing we can do." They never entered the home, never inspected anything, and only briefly stepped out of their van into my driveway to talk to me before leaving. At no point during the scheduling call was I told there would be a service fee. When the techs arrived, they made no mention of a charge, nor did they provide any kind of invoice or paperwork before leaving. I later received three bills by mail, each demanding $130, with no explanation of what the charge was for -- just a warning that failure to pay would result in the account being sent to collections. I did not believe the charge was warranted and disputed it in writing via certified mail with return receipt, which Universal Electric received and signed for. They never responded. No follow-up, no phone call, no documentation -- just silence. Eventually, they turned the matter over to a collection agency. It's frustrating to be billed for a visit where no service was performed, no agreement was made, and no information was shared upfront about potential charges. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Universal Electric.

This lack of communication is all I am able to review. As a client, communication is one of the most important aspects I look for in a contractor because my time is valuable.
