This was such a great place to stop by for lunch after over an hours of cycling! With such a great view of the lagoon and bright warm weather, it made our experience pretty much perfect!
Gian and I stopped by here on out way to Brodick. We saw tons of cyclists using the outdoor courtyard area as a resting spot, so we thought we'd join the party and chill out here too!
The staff members are delightful people! Super polite, friendly and overall sweet!
This place isn't exactly the cheapest but if you're on holiday, just shrug it off and spend da moneyz Y NOT. Haha
I ordered the Taste of Arran platter which came with smoked salmon, smoked duck, smoked venison, smoked gammon, Arran cheese, oats and pickles. I really wasn't expecting the giant plate of awesomeness! Safe to say I had tons of energy to continue our cycle back to Brodick haha
Gian ordered the fish and chips, which was relatively good, being a typical meal. He just wanted as much energy as he can possibly consume tbh haha the chips were super nice!
We also ordered coffee. Gian took a gamble and order a soy cappuccino which was a bit burnt but still drinkable. I had a cinnamon cappuccino and yes, it was packed full of cinnamon! Not bad tho. The coffee is as good as it gets on a secluded island! Don't expect expert roasters level of coffee!
I don't quite remember the cost, but I didn't think it was too expensive for all the food and coffee we had. Definitely under £12 per person! Not bad at all.
Def drop by if you're in Arran, especially on a sunny day! Such a great environment read more
