While we did explore searching for samples at several locations, the final decision was made to purchase from Ballston Carpet and Tile because we had narrowed down our possible choices to three - all of which were sold by BC&T. We were very pleased with Craig who assisted my wife in understanding the differences in the fabrics, their wearability, the anticipated delivery times, and who tolerated our slow decision making and the amount of time we held samples at home trying to make a final decision. Craig also kept us apprised of the manufacture's production schedule. The fellow who came to the house to determine the measurements was not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge regarding proper installation methods and wear. With his input we were able to arrange to include two scatter rugs from the same bolt of carpet to be ordered. Finally, the installer, Justin, was friendly, and did a very professional job of removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpeting. We are very happy that we chose Ballston Carpet and Tile to do this project and have no reservations with recommending them to others.

Our first flooring delivery came in a different shade than expected from the manufacturer's sample, and the Albany Carpet Warehouse handled everything. We went with a different floor, and everything was smooth, including the installation. A fast, friendly, and hard-working team not only installed the floor, they solved a (rather large) leveling problem in our current floor, and fixed a few air leakage and water problems. And the price is still right.

But, the salesperson (Paul) was extremely helpful in explaining to us some of the options available and differences in product lines. We haven't bought anything yet (and they work on commission) but he seemed happy to just help us out whether we made a purchase or not. We…read moredid not purchase the flooring from them but after examining the flooring they agreed to install. During the install Doug noticed the hallway floor was wet from steam cleaning and immediately stopped the project. He advised us to run fans to dry the area and then to prime the floor so stains would not come up thru the floor. ( It is my feeling other installers would have continued the project without notifying us of the issue.) With the floor dry and primed Doug finished the job with no other issues. The flooring was installed quickly and professionally with no issues and during the install Doug offered his advice on moulding and care of the floor. The floor looks great and Doug will be back as we need other floors installed. I urge others to check out Wilton Floor LLC!

The bottom line is there is a blue huge in the flooring edging that was not on the flooring sample (from which I made my decision). It is insulting to read that it is considered a cosmetic. The third and last rep to inspect my floor is suppose to be an independent report to the manufacturer. I can not recommend purchasing anything from this location, nor their Troy location as they are under the same ownership.
