The course overall is pretty well-maintained with the exception of a few bunkers that had standing water in them, however, there was a pretty bad rainstorm the night before. There's a couple of par threes, mostly par fours and maybe one or two par fives. A really good variety overall. Some of the cart paths take you through heavily wooded areas that make you feel like you're in the middle of the forest which was quite nice as well. I was a little less than impressed with the staff inside when they gave me towels and told me to wipe the water off my own golf carts. This was a little offputting as I really thought that would be the responsibility of the staff. Overall though, this is a great little course to play if you are in the area and want some great views.

I've played more than seventy golf courses during my lifetime. I have never played on a course…read morewhere the first cut is more than three inches tall.And you can almost lose a ball in it. I've also never played where sand traps have railroad ties on the side of them. The party ahead of us was a five some. I hit a ball over two hundred and seventy yards down the fairway, and it went over the slope the five son circled back and apparently picked up my ball. They run the sprinklers down the fairway.So when you do hit a ball, you have to wait for the sprinklers, to clear, run out, grab your ball and take it off to the side. Had a golf ball hit a windshield where the hole is lined up right next to the road with no netting or any warnings about how their golf course is lined right next to a very busy road with no protection whatsoever, the clubhouse told me to call the owner Farrell so I did and before I could even explain to him what happened to ask what the process was he immediately started yelling in the phone "who gave you my number!" And "maybe you should be a better golfer" (for context I've broken 80 multiple times, I'm not the worst golfer) he the goes on to mention how this year alone 20+ windshields have been broken on the hole which proves that there needs to be some sort of warning or protection. Even though all the laws and everything supports them being at fault he just continued to yell through the phone (very professional) I didn't want to leave the lady with a broken windshield so I paid for it anyways because he wasn't going to, I didnt call for them to pay for it, I just called him because this obviously happens all the time and I jus wanted to know what to do in the situation. The owner then started puffing his chest on the phone talking about how he can beat me in golf, it's honestly laughable the way he acted as an old old man. I would never give a cent to that business and someone needs to take them to court for actively knowing they have a problem with balls going into the road and damaging cars and not doing a thing about it. Not only is the only a low life human based on my 5-10 minute conversation with him, but the course is the worst course I have ever played in my life

The carpet was dirty, there was puke in the bathroom, some of the stalls were clogged and didn't even work. The owner was absolutely rude and basically called us liars, said we didn't make a deposit and he could've made more money booking the room for a home Husker game. I would not recommend hosting a party at this venue! Sad for South Sioux City to have owners treat customers so poorly.

Some tee boxes were a little rough but the greens and fairways were well groomed. As first time players, not too many blind shots so we could manage the course. The forward tees were around 4800 yards which is a little shorter than usual but still provided challenges and allowed me to actually have a shot at hitting the green in regulation. We played as a twosome and were behind several 4-somes but still played in under 4 hours. It was an incredibly hot day and I appreciated the trees for shade as we waited to tee off. We enjoyed this course very much and hope to come back again.

I then showed up with my two boys after both of us driving two hours here to meet half way and play for father's day. I paid $200 and was allowed to play and then after the third hole they came out and kicked us off. I was then brought into the golf director who told me earlier that same day I would be good to play. Waste of time, money, and gas Would not recommend playing here terrible experience.
