This Malaysian Kitchen isn't far from my house so it's very convenient. The food is always decent…read moreand also well priced meaning you can explore a few different options on the menu. As most decent Asian places do they cater for vegetarians and also some vegan options. The staff who work here are super friendly and love seeing familiar faces keep rolling back in. Remember though it's BYO wine only which is disappointing as they don't sell any beer.

As I noted in my tip about this little slice of South East Asian paradise, there is fantastic food,…read moreand my suggestion is that you eat your way through the menu. Having grown up in South East Asia, this place makes me happy. I only found out this place existed because a menu was dropped in my mailbox, and I am glad it was. This is not a new restaurant/take away, but the current owners have only been here about six months (they waited that long before doing the letter box drop, so they said). The menue is predominantly Malaysian, but there are some other classic dishes from various Asian locales, such as udon and pad Thai. My recent visit was for take away, but they do have melamine tables and a BYO policy for those who choose to dine in. That will be the strategy for my next visit. I ordered a Singapore noodles, and my flatmate got a char ho fun and dumplings. A nice little bonus was being offered not just house-made sambal with fresh chopped chillies, but also some pickled chillies as well when we picked up the meal. I hate getting take away and being told they don't offer fresh chilli, so this was an instant win. The food was fantastic, and very authentic. The staff are lovely and willing to chat. The venue has parking and is only about 20 minutes from my house on foot. All in all, great find for the inner north west. As Merrill J Fernando says, "Do try it".

Really impressed by this little takeaway joint offering a variety of Asian food including noodles,…read morerice dishes, sushi and more. The food is really tasty with a good amount of spice. The ingredients they use is good quality and fresh. I certainly can't complain about the prices. And the portion of food was large enough for lunch the next day. I'll be coming back to this place next time I'm in Melbourne. Conveniently located near the Airport Tourist Village. There's also a supermarket and bottle shop nearby.

Tonight, we ate Noodle Dishes from NOODLE SUSHI BAR, Fawkner Street, Westmeadows. We weren't really aware that it was there - It's tucked away in the back of the Fawkner Street shops, behind the IGA Supermarket - access is via the supermarket carpark drive-way.. Anyway - a nice surprise - Asian Take-Away being a little bereft in this 'neck o' the woods'.. We ordered: - Chicken Teriyaki Udon Noodle - Honey Soy Pork Flat Egg Noodle - Mongolian Beef Thick Egg Noodle - Fried Kwai Teow Flat Rice Noodle All decent sized serves; All distinctly flavoured; All generous with the proteins: All with fresh Asian veg; All priced at $10.90 - Very reasonable.. Their Cantonese dishes are all over the $15 mark - Seems a little high for 'Burbs Asian' but lots were ordering, so possibly 'Good Value'..? Will do an update..!! Nice clean premises - All of the food prep, cooking, and packaging is done right in front of you - Always a BIG PLUS for me.. They were busy - 4 or 5 lots of phone orders, plus a few walk-in's, all at 7.30pm, on a Sunday night.. A good sign.. Cook threw in a free bottle of Kirk's Lemon Squash - presumably cos we'd spent over $40 - we didn't really need it, but nice to see, it doesn't happen often, any more.. Very happy to visit again - Will also try the Sushi next time.. Visited Sunday 10 January 2016 for Take-Away Dinner.

Stumbled across Lanzhou Beef Noodle while we were walking home from exploring CBD Melbourne one…read morenight. Located a block from the AirBnb we were staying at, there was one on either side of the street! We checked out the menu and though noodle soup sounded delish for a windy/cool evening so we dropped in and grabbed a table. You order at the counter, there's not very many options, but you do get to choose the thickness of your hand-pulled fresh noodles! I saw some sides in the glass case as well, but the Signature Beef Noodle Soup is where it's at! I got mine with the "thicker noodles" which is like a rice noodle and was not disappointed. The broth was clear and flavorful, the beef was tender and the noodles tasted fresh and handmade. They were cooked perfectly and everything about this bowl was noodles was on point and fantastic. Why can't they have more places like this in the states?! Fresh high quality ingredients with amazing flavors. They don't specialize in a lot but what they do specialize in is the best of what they have to offer! I want another bowl as we speak and wasn't opposed to coming back here another night while we were in town. So many good eats to choose from though, so I never got the chance. The Spicy Beef Noodle Soup has a sichuan peppercorn spice to it, so if you don't like the tongue numbing sensation of peppercorns, stay clear cause there is a lot of it in that bowl! We got 2 bowls for "take-away", as the Australians would say, or "to-go" in the states and they packed it nicely for us in very sustainable plastic containers. The noodles and broth were kept separate so that you can mix and enjoy when you get home! They do charge extra for take-out and for to-go containers though, especially when you dine-in and don't finish! Seems to be the norm in Australia to pay extra for take-away containers, so don't be alarmed. Delicious beef noodle soup and I would definitely recommend this place and come back, if I ever get the chance!

My parents got the beef noodle soup and I got the tomato egg noodles. I recommend the beef noodle soup. My absolute favorite part of this place is that you get to pick out of 6+? types of noodles that vary in thickness and cut, I find that very refreshing!
