I just did the Galentine Craft Class-Pinecone Flower Wall Hanging class and I was so happy with the craft project I made there. Jodie and her staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. During this quarantine I've become a plant mom and really loving the zen vibes with a lot of greenery at home. Came here a few weeks ago when the garden center was about to close but the staff was super friendly and did not rush me at all, in fact I was still there 30 minutes after they closed. The staff was extremely helpful and so attentive. I don't have the best lighting situation at my place and the staff was very knowledgeable in all the plants they had onsite and what would best fit my environment. Came home with a big pothos and small snake plant and they are still thriving! The prices are fantastic for what you get and they also had all the supplies that I needed. Selection on plants and supplies is very reasonable and I can't wait to go back! Just have to build more shelfs on my wall so I can have an excuse to buy more plants ;) read more

Horrible customer service after purchasing more than $450 worth of items and (1) overpriced ($58) hydrangea which died. No respect for the customer and why we were shopping locally. I would never shop here again. Better off going to Home Depot. Now I understand why the Landscaping Department closed. The guy who answered the phone (name began with an 'A') was an ignorant jerk !!! I was about to purchase pea gravel for a large garden that needs 20 tons of stones but now I'll take my business elsewhere... Thanks for being a jerk and saving me time. Love the 11' Christmas tree that we got at Glenwild second year in a row. It's such a perfect tree and smells amazing. We've been going to Glenwild for indoor and outdoor plants, trees and honey over the last 2 years and have always experienced fantastic customer service. Handmade jewelry (I scored a pair of earrings made of walnut and carved into little trees), unique stationary, ornaments, plant & garden decor, local honey and honey based products , soaps, scarves... and MUCH MUCH MORE! We could have poked around all day. My energetic nephew was even captivated by it's charm. This was my first time at Glenwild Garden Center and I have to say for a small nursery I really liked their selection. I had gone to large locations for my vegetables for my garden but needed a few minor last minute additional plants. I also found a beautiful wedding veil hydrangea that was priced right too. this is such a departure from the big box store with somewhat competitive pricing but the time that each employee is willing to spend with you until you have what you need and understand the plant or the product. they have seminars and all the things there are of excellent quality not like the cheap junk at most stores. we have really great luck with all their annuals read more

Staff is very welcoming and friendly. You don't feel too far removed from the owners here, and they clearly demonstrate a love for gardening and understanding of the plants and fertilizers, etc. that they sell. They sell organic vegetable seedlings but they tend to be pricey because they are in larger pots. read more

This is a very nice garden center with a neat gift shop and very helpful and friendly staff. They also do landscaping projects. We just had them redo our foundation landscaping in our front yard and it turned out beautifully. It only took 4 1/2 days to demo the existing landscaping, install a wall, regrade, plant and mulch. The workers were very nice and didn't mind if I asked questions or changed my mind about something. We have encountered some really bad contractors in the past, but if you want some quality work done at a fair price, give Glenwild Garden enter a try. Definitely a 5 star business. read more

I love this place!! After having a really bad experience with another nursery I was hesitant to use another smaller business. I was very pleasantly surprised with Glenwild. The selection was incredible! The prices were very reasonable. The plants were very healthy and the staff was excellent! They have a great garden store stocked with alot of unique items. I called them last Wednesday(forgetting they were closed that day) while looking for salt. They answered and said they did have some, but that they were closed but they offered to stay there and wait for me to drive over so I could purchase some. They are always so warm and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I feel a one star is too high for this place. Had a very disappointing and poor experience. Purchased a damaged tree; initially the staff said they would replace. When I returned I was greeted with a very unprofessional "manager". Could not believe my ears with the attitude and plain rudeness I received. This is exactly why you should not shop local at this place and go to an establishment where they stand behind their products and treat you with respect and appreciate your patronage. Not to mention their prices were not reasonable. Would never spend a dime again. read more
