We only went to visit my friend's ailing mother, who was on hospice; only to have to make quick decisions about her mother's final remain within week's time. Kiley, the representative of the Cremation Society that we had the pleasure of engaging with was EVER SO DELIGHTFUL, INFORMATIVE, PATIENT, COMPASSIONATE and all the other pleasant personality descriptors that you'd need at a time like this. She provided many alternatives and options and gave us time to decide which one best fit our current situation. From the time the hospice facility called on our behalf, up until today, 2 weeks later, Kiley has been in touch and providing status updates on the remains of my friend's mother. I can say, this was one of the best visits to a mortuary/crematory that I've had AND truly saying a lot!!!! The faculty was clean and quiet, I mean if it wasn't quiet, I might have been spooked out a little bit. The staff was pleasant, warm and calm in their disposition. There was a black cat that was in the building, I found out he/she was a rescue cat of sorts and has managed to capture the hearts of the staff, so now it's ( didn't find out the gender) a permanent fixture at the place. Ample parking and they operate by appointments... guess that makes sense, allows time for families to ask all the necessary questions, make selections and come to terms with the finality of the situation... well at least it did for us. Interesting note, you can WATCH the cremation of your loved one. At first I found that to be kind of creepy, but after thinking it through, I get it; not sure if I could do it, but I understand the desire to do so. Kudos to Kiley, the cat(s), because I believe there were two of them & the Cremation Society for a job well done when handling such a sensitive end of life event.

In the beginning they made us feel confident in there abilities and they relieve so much of the anxiety that goes with the final arrangements for a loved one. They helped us understand the contract and they were extremely transparent with every aspect of the contract. In 2024 they said they would plow every 3 inches then plowed at 1/2 inch…read more In November we told them 2x not to plow. Second time after they came and put edge finders out. Thanksgiving weekend it snowed inch or so. They plowed. Two more times after that last being first week of December. Get bill for 2x one November and one December. Called again. " yeah, yeah, we got you down for NO snow removal " January 2 they come again with 1/2inch snow. They say they take pictures before and after. I'm done with them.
