They are not even deservant of a one star!!!!…read more This is a much longer event/story, many more things happened and I will be more detailed in my review but right now I just wanted to begin reviewing this most horrible place!!!! - Too bad you can't add negative stars!!! My mom was transferred to West Gables Rehab from Kendall Regional Hospital - at first they were very nice until a few days later when the social worker Norlene trying to get my mom discharged and at the time she could not even walk! - we kept saying please do not rush her out, but they didn't care - every week for the next three was the same thing - very rude and nasty - her supervisor, Ileana was even worse!!! Dr. Ramirez beyond horrible! They wanted to just get my mom out and all the time they would say this isn't a nursing home - we know it's not a nursing home but my goodness my mom was starting to recover! they just wanted her out because at the time she had a Medicare advantage plan -- they even altered medical records! And we have the proof!!!! The CEO of nothing Walter Concepcion is useless when I requested they move my mom to a skilled nursing facility, since they wanted to send her home prematurely, he said that she would be better off at home with physical therapy going to her!!!! My mom ended up with no home health care and absolutely no physical therapy because of the orders they placed! I attempted to contacted the CEO of nothing Walter Concepcion again (useless) - never returns phone calls and he ended up sending a letter filled with lies to my mom stating that they had investigated and that she had had physical therapy while at home! Don't you think my mother would know if she actually had physical therapy Not true!!! Mr. Breighner from corporate the Chief Complaint Officer is useless as well - don't waste your time in even calling him because he doesn't care - his replies are just to make people reading reviews think that they care and are going to fix/correct the issues!!!! It's a complete scam!!! I truly thought Mr. Breighner was going to help in this matter because I read his replies to all the other negative reviews - I was so so wrong!!! Again, it's a scam!!! Just their attempt at making themselves appear to care and want to correct the issue!!! Do not be fooled!!! Complete waste of time - I should've written my review from the start instead of calling corporate! They are of no help! It was a complete waste of time - they protect their own even when they've done something wrong - they altered my mother's medical records as well!!! Horrible!!!! We will be contacting an attorney. You see how Breighner doesn't reply to this review!!! Because he has been found out! Don't be fooled when Breighner reaches out to negative reviews!!! He pretends that he's there to help you and correct situation but it's not true!!!! It's a complete farce!!!! See how they've still not reacted to Ty my VERY TRUE and FACTUAL review on them, because it's a scam!!!I

I communicated with Yaite via text/phone a few weeks before to hash out pricing, how long I would…read morebe staying and everything the fee included. I was nervous since I had never done something like this before and it seemed like a pretty big deal to me. I then texted the same number Friday, Feb 23rd to let her know I was still coming. I arrived on Sunday, February 25th one day before my procedure. That morning before my plane took off I again texted her to let her know that I was on my way and what time my plane would land. I also verified the address of the recovery house. (which is the address that is stated here on Yelp and several other places online, a place about 10-15min away from Miami Airport) I was told they have personal drivers but the car that picked me up at the airport was an Uber driver. He confirmed the address with me and I had to call Yaite because our addresses didn't match. The house he took me to was at 13147 SW 284th St Homestead, FL. Look it up, it is about 1hr and 10min (south) from the airport. (if you are lucky and traffic isn't crazy) The drive over there was an ordeal in itself. You start to panic a bit since you all you start seeing at some point is rows and rows of palm trees. I was already on edge about the change of location and how far it was-it would have been nice to have been told the ACTUAL address instead of just saying yes when I sent the Miami address. The house itself is really nice and clean. No complaints there. The house has 2 bathrooms and 3 rooms. 2 rooms with 2 beds apiece and the other room has 4 beds in it. You quickly figure out that if someone gets breast implants or a tummy tuck they are gonna be in the living in a recliner. Which wouldn't be so bad except that I can't imagine being able to get rest with all the lights getting turned on at all hours of the day. Once I got there Elena was the true beacon of my stay. She immediately took me in and started on the task of feeding me. She was very attentive and I could tell I would be in good hands once my procedure happened her attentiveness is what convinced me to stay. The day wore on and drama started happening. One of the ladies there somehow got into it with Elena and Elena decided she had enough and wanted to leave. (crazy, I know) I tried to focus on the reason I was there and stayed in my room. That's another thing, depending on how considerate your roommate is determines some of the comfort. My first night there my roommate turned on the light at 3am to get ready and made all kinds of noise. The first night after my surgery she turned it on around 4am and I wasn't able to fall asleep again. With Elena gone Marilady (spelling?) the lady who is the owner stayed periodically to take care of us and cook. They replaced Elena with Marlene. She did a great job being a caretaker. Everything else was questionable. My surgery ended at 11:45am. The recovery house was informed I was ready and I wasn't picked up for a long time. Around 2pm I couldn't handle the pain anymore so I called myself. I was told the driver was very near. At 3pm a driver arrived. My nurse was very angry since it seemed like they had sent a random (clueless) Uber driver to come pick me up. No blankets/pillows etc. He just wanted me to lay face first on the back seat of his tiny 4 door. My nurse wouldn't release me and angrily called Marilady informing her she had to come pick me up herself. Keep in mind that I am going back and forth into the building with no PAIN MEDS. Finally at 4pm I was picked up. I screamed and cried the whole hour back to the recovery house. We got there at 5pm and I was so angry and in pain that they ended up giving me some Percocets. (never figured out where they came from and honestly at that moment I didn't care) I demanded they fill my prescriptions and at first they wanted to pacify me by saying they would do it "later" since they had already given me pain medication. I put my foot down and by 8:30pm I had my meds. That was the recurring theme the whole week I was there by the way. There were ladies who literally waited OVERNIGHT to get their pain pills after their procedures. They only have one driver and that poor man can't possibly drop off/pick up patients AND fill prescriptions in a timely manner. We helped each other out and lended out pain pills to the ladies who were in pain because their prescriptions hadn't been filled. The meals that were made were delicious and homemade but there were a few days where we ate late and a meal or 2 I made on my own. Some of us were taken care of in terms of being helped to the restroom and others that weren't. They have a massage therapist (Marilady's mom) that comes to do the lymphatic massages in house. That was convenient and the lady is really nice but recovery houses closer to all the plastic surgery centers and IN Miami also offer that service. There were pluses but all the negatives (disorganization being a HUGE factor) is the reason for the sub par review.

My surgery date was May 9 2018 (bbl) I confirmed the day before on when my surgery time was. They were also called when I was done surgery. When I woke up the driver was already there waiting for me. Ladies the drive back is a little long. I was in agony but... not pain where I was crying. When I got to the house I was helped by the driver and one of the care takers and taken to my room. I was very fortunate to have a room to myself for 3.5 days. When I arrived my bed was ready with adult pads so you do not need to purchase them. My night table had a bowl of fruit, a bag of saltine crackers, a bottle of water, and a bottle of Gatorade. Make sure you have your ID, money or debit and insurance card. I was helped on the bed. Which was also very comfy. It took about a 1.5 hours for my medication to get filled and brought to me. After I finally got my meds I was good to go. Throughout your time there you will meet 3-4 care takers as they are on different shifts. They were all AMAZING. They always checked up on me. They helped me with everything I needed. They were extremely patient. We all had great conversations. I loved them. They made me great meals. I have no complaints. I booked this place very nervously because the nasty reviews people left. I just said f it. I can afford this place. I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend this recovery home to anyone. Also the house is beautiful on the water. There was ducks and momma ducks and baby ducks around the property. So effing cute lol

English version I had hip osteosynthesis surgery on April 1st after a sudden fall while doing Toes to Bar during a CrossFit workout. I lost grip with my right hand and fell hard to the ground, resulting in a partial femoral neck fracture. As an athlete, my biggest concern was recovering fully and safely so I could return to training. I began rehab with PT Gabriela Rodriguez on May 1st at South Florida Rehab and Training Center, and from day one I knew I was in the best hands. Gabriela has been essential to every step of my recovery--she is professional, dedicated, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable. Thanks to her personalized and progressive approach, I've regained mobility, strength, and confidence in my body, and I'm well on my way to returning to CrossFit when I'm ready. I also want to highlight the entire team: Gabriel Carvajal, the CEO & DPT, is always present and truly attentive to the patients; David Felipe, the VP & lead physical therapist, whose expertise and leadership are reflected throughout the center; and PTAs Nico Antido and Juan Viviescas, who have been incredibly supportive and dedicated. In addition, the front desk team, Gaby and Alexa, are incredibly professional, kind, and well-organized. And we couldn't continue with our therapy without our dear Naty, who goes above and beyond to get insurance approvals for our sessions. She is efficient, dedicated, and truly appreciated. If you want to get your healthy life back this is the right place. I wholeheartedly recommend this center, especially to those seeking a thorough, guided recovery with a human and athletic focus. They are truly an exceptional team! And to top it all off, they even have a wonderful mascot named Bandid--lovingly known as Chichi! That warm and friendly atmosphere makes the experience even more special. I 100% recommend them!
