At the end of the day, Ayuna did a good job with my event and all of our guests loved the venue. The decorations were beautiful and she provided some convenient extras at the last minute (i.e. table cloths, upgraded chairs, cake table decor). I appreciated that she took certain liberties on the day of the event to make the colors pop. She definitely has some skills with color coordinating. She was also nice enough to provide some pictures of decor ideas and she provided great referrals for a band and bakery. You can tell that she works hard to the point that she is overextended, and I can respect and appreciate a Black female business owner. However there is room for improvement towards a more enjoyable planning experience. I am a very detailed person and there were definitely some hiccups and stress during the process. Here are some things for the consumer to be aware of- Be careful with asking too many questions. Ayuna became very annoyed during one of our initial meetings at her venue. My questions dealt with the specific placement of furniture and items around the venue and in the lobby and halls. Unfortunately, she snapped at me and told me not to ask her questions again about items that would "obviously would be moved after she cleans up". As if we know the normal position and look of the venue. This to me, was a very unbecoming moment from someone in the hospitality industry and a very disturbing experience since I like to plan every detail to ensure that I have the desired look. In addition to snapping at me, she was also condescending and stated "as I previously told you" on several occasions during our conversation. The hostility that she displayed during this meeting was extremely unprofessional and disheartening. Next are the payment methods. Ayuna uses Zelle and Cash App which offers the consumer no protection if something goes awry. I am not crazy about using p2p platforms for payment of large sums of money. I realize there are fees associated with credit cards, but expanding the payment options may be warranted. A few other items of note: Ayuna moved my second payment date up in spite of what my initial invoice stated. (I am big on what is in writing.) I also noticed that certain things that I ordered or that we discussed were not provided such as a red carpet, high boy tables and a half gold arch. I think that Ayuna was pressed for time and just couldn't get to handling. I will say that Ayuna later provided a $50 refund to rectify this. My final recommendation is upping the attire that Ayuna and her staff wear if they will be present and around guests during a semiformal event. read more

Well, My Business Partner/ Manger and I rented with Glitz/Ayana for my Meet n Greet for $2500 and I was shown the Suite to where my Event would bee doing my Event and was told I had a PRE-SET UP between 10am-12pm for myself an my Vendors... Well, the day before the event we were to meet up an discuss Decorations but she stood my Manger & I. We waited for 45 min in the parking lot from 1pm to 1:43pm and we had to go. The day of my event, My ppl an I get there at 10am,EXPECTING EVERYTHING to be Set Up and READY for US to do our Thang, RIGHT!?; NAWWWWWWW, We get there an she told me that the Suite she ORIGINALLY had for my EVENT was SOMEHOW DOUBLED BOOKED so she thru US NEXT DOOR in a DIRTY ASS SUITE, FLOORS were so sticky, you heard EVERYONE WALKING!! I truly wished we would have looked at reviews prior to booking Glitz of Atlanta to host my son's baby shower. The level of disrespect we experienced is criminal. What was requested was not executed, from the color scheme to the lack of anything that remotely matched our airline themed baby shower. The owner Ayuna Reynolds-Terrell-Hunter lacks professionalism and morality. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I booked this business for a Great Gatsby theme 50th birthday party. When we met her for the consultation we were explicit on items we wanted including photos from her Instagram for decorating. She expressed no issues, she actually stated her vision isn't really put into place until day of. So she was coy on details of full execution. Day of the party she never shows or tells us she's not going to make it. She sent someone else and the setup was extremely underwhelming. It looked like she went to Party City. You could tell 0 thought or effort went into executing our event. We asked for colors black and gold with a pop of color. Everything was black on black. Items that were invoiced were not included, (ie decor,menus,red carpet). I reached out to business owner via email Monday after the party. No response, so Thursday of same week now I'm emailing again,sent a text AND message on Instagram. Just for her to say she's had Covid and she'll call Friday. When she called Friday I had to call her back and she never returned my call. So I reached back out Saturday. We talked and she knew we were unhappy. She said she would refund 500.00 the following Tuesday. Welp of course she DIDN'T send it nor make any contact. Therfore I sent a text Wednesday/Thursday with 0 response. FINALLY I call that Friday morning and advise I hadn't heard from her and expected the refund, and its unfortunate but I'm human not an forgetful customer who wants to be treated fairly. She then calls me back with major attitude and says she doesn't appreciate me saying the forgetful comment, my package was basic and that's it then hangs up on me. I'm huge on customer service and the principle both in which I was treated unfairly. As a business owner when YOU don't deliver no matter if the client spends 3000 or 300000 you treat everyone the same. Instead of giving us the service she described during the consultation it was poorly executed. Her team/person she sent did a horrible job. Had Ayana been at the event and did it personally as contracted who's to say how it would have worked out, but to source my party out and go do another Instead is completely tacky and I feel scammed. She is clearly a professional scam artist to people who aren't a celebrity and its sickening she would operate in this way. However I will see this business in court soon. read more

Very disappointed in Glitz of Atlanta (Ayuna Reynolds-owner) to say the least. I don't know if I was more disappointed in the lack of customer service and unprofessionalism or the overall look of the event I contracted Glitz of Atlanta to do. I contracted Glitz of Atlanta( Ayuna) to do my 50th birthday party with the Great Gatsby theme. During consultation, I discussed my vision and budget with the owner of Glitz of Atlanta. Ayuna was taking notes and was very aware of my vision and my budget for decor ($3000). She even said when clients allow here creative vision she could fully bring the vision to life. I did just that, allowed her the creative ability to so do. The decor was subpar, no thought put into it at all, the colors we discussed were not distributed throughout the event. It look like my event was an afterthought. I contacted Ayuna the very next day by email to discuss my concerns and never got a response. Two days later, I had to contact her again regarding my concerns. There were things on the contract that were not delivered. Days later after finally getting in contact, she agreed to refund of some of my money($500) . Well, that never happen nor did she communicate . I had to reach out again and she was rude, had a matter of fact attitude that I was even still contacting her again. She insulted me in saying I had basic money and that's the service I got. To make a long story short, if your not a CELEBRITY or in the who's who, your treated differently and rudely but she will take your money and give you her butt to kiss. I should have known from the beginning when she got agitated about me asking questions about my event in trying to decide to hire her, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she was black owned. Went to a brunch networking event here. It was very beautifully setup. Plentiful parking. Lots of space. Decorated nicely. The space in itself was impressive. I met the owner and she was very professional and engaging. Her imagination and ability to bring ideas to life is amazing. I was also looking for a space to host my own event. I reached out to giltz of atlanta on instagram in regards to pricing for a wedding. She instructed me to provide her with my email so she can send me a questionnaire. I filled out the questionnaire on Sunday 1/31. The form i filled out stated it will be a one to two days to receive a response. I reached out to her again on 2/6. Her response was when was when was i free to chat she never replied back to the questionnaire. Big red flag. Don't ask customers to fill out questionnaires you don't intend to review and respond to. Its a waste of clients time. Any place that doesn't respect my time is not for me. Update: the manager reached out to me and was very polite and helpful. I greatly appreciate it. We may started off at a rough start but regardless if i book with them or not i do appreciate their initiative to fixing the problem. Second update: since the owner and assistant both named ayana i don't remember which is which but the first person i spoke with was respectful and nice helpful even the second was extremely rude her tone was nasty. She stated her assistant called and apologized and based on my review i no longer wanted to do business with them so shes not sure why shes calling me. Lol its a total disconnect between both ladies because i was informed i would be getting a quote today. I guess not if you are not a celebrity i guess you cant get good service here. Ayuna, the CEO is providing an elegant, classy, professionally operated, reasonable and very needed Event Center for our at-large community. I am very pleased and excited to begin planning my next event at Glitz. It is without reservations that I highly recommend Glitz of Atlanta to all but especially if you are as meticulous as I am. The owner is very unprofessional and canceled my sister in laws 15th wedding renewal just 3 days before the event after she had everything set up and vendors paid because the owner over booked . Which to me screams money hungry. When you own an event place and booking events the smart thing to do is check that day for any other events. But I guess she's not that smart. It caused a lot of issues in finding a new venue and sending out new invitations and relocating all the vendors. (Which of course they made it happen she won't ruin anything round here) but it's just very unprofessional and isn't the first time from the reviews I've read that she doesn't know how to handle her business correctly or talk to people with respect. Went to visit this venue, informed the owner I was ready to book. She informed me that the process was to send an email and request the day and time. Sent the email, no reply called multiple times, she never got back to me. I was very disappointed. It's one thing to tell someone the date is available and they can go ahead and book and then give them the run around. If your looking for reliability go somewhere else. read more

This review is based on MY experience, and it was a horrific one. I would never recommend Ayuna Reynolds of Glitz of Atlanta LLC for anything! I definitely should have vetted this lady more. She lacks integrity and does not communicate well or in a timely manner. Ninety percent of the communication I initiated, but she 100% of the time never failed to send me a Cash App request requesting a payment from me that I'm pretty sure went towards someone else's event or maybe her bills. When I contacted her in June 2019 and we met, she talked a great game. She followed up our conversation with a couple of pictures from what was probably Pinterest as a starting point, but no real effort was made to personalize my party beyond those pictures, which she later said I didn't pay for a party planner I paid for a package. Based on the amount of my package I selected, I had a right to know how my money was being spent. The second planner I selected provided a package as well. She DID provide a very detailed contract down to every single food item, crystal, mirror, candelabra, chair (Chavari by the way), and floor plan design - none of which Ayuna provided. As late as October 3rd when I requested to meet with her, she still had no concrete details to share other than "trust me I do this for a living", and commenced to bragging about a wedding she pulled off the previous weekend out of town. To try to ease my worries she invited me to an event at her space that upcoming weekend, and it backfired because things went from bad to worse. The food was awful, and the drinks from the bar were weak. A trip to the bathroom left me feeling like I'd made the worse mistake of my life. First, the faucet handle was broken and only worked by triggering the exposed part. Then, as I dried my hands and proceeded to leave the bathroom, a roach beat me to the door. When I expressed grave concerns in a follow-up call about all of my concerns, I was met with multiple excuses and lies. She indicated that the sink just broke, which I found out later was not the case from someone else who had an event there months prior. And, she explained that it wasn't a roach I encountered but a water bug that she had brought to the landlord's attention. After a long, intense conversation following her event on October 5th, we decided to part ways and she agreed to refund half of what I'd paid up to that point, which she's yet to fulfill the complete terms of the agreement. I have text messages and emails as proof of our exchange and her promise to pay. Let me be even more clear: Ayuna did not even keep up with how much I'd paid her. I had to provide proof of my payments so we could agree on the refund amount. She is very scattered and unorganized, which is why I've kept exceptionally good records dealing with her. Again, I have every single text message/email to back up these claims and promises to pay on specific dates, including the last one which she said "I have your money. I can meet you or deposit in your account." I replied to her to deposit in my account, and I'm still waiting on my money. As of today, January 28th, I still do not have the last refund payment. Sharing this story with others has allowed me to see that this is not an isolated incident. I have come across people who've worked with her on events, or as a client and this behavior is typical and nothing new. Folks I know whom I found out know her were surprised I was even working with this lady, knowing me and my level of expectations. I missed the mark badly on this one. Again, I leapt without doing my due diligence, and for that I take full responsibility.
