As a pale-skinned girl who has tried just about every tanning salon under the sun (pun intended), I walked into Palm Beach with modest expectations and walked out completely blown away, all thanks to Matt. He took his time during the consultation, never rushed me, answered every single question I had (and I had a lot), and made the whole experience not only easy, but genuinely enjoyable. Matt is that rare combination of professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He made me feel heard and comfortable, and it's that level of customer care that will absolutely bring me back to this salon again. If you're reading this and you're management: give that man a raise. He's the reason I'll be a returning client--and why Yelp is back on my phone.

However, my experience today at the Beach Street location in Fort Worth was the worst I've ever encountered. Arianah, who claims to be the manager, attempted to charge me a $10 fee for using the Versa Spa tanning booth, something I have never been charged for in all my years as a member. When I called another location on speakerphone to confirm that this charge was incorrect, they agreed with me and offered to let me tan there. Despite this, Arianah insisted on the fee and even called a former employee, pretending she was still in charge, which became clear when the woman slipped up and admitted she no longer worked there. Arianah refused to look up my tanning history, denied me the service I've had for 15 years, and even threatened to cancel my membership and call the police on me for no reason other than my insistence that I shouldn't be charged. Her unprofessional behavior, coupled with the inappropriate attire she was wearing, was not only unprofessional but also a very poor reflection of Palm Beach Tan. I hope management will address this situation quickly. If I do not receive a call from someone in leadership to resolve this, I will be forced to cancel my long-standing membership and post my reviews online about this location on other sites. She is very unprofessional and was also laying on the couches in the front when I came in.

So if you get there thirty minutes before 6 and someone's in the bed especially their most expensive and best bed @ $290.00 for a month you'll lose money especially if you work 8 to 5pm like most people. Then your losing money. I've driven 80+ MPH only to get there and have to use a way lower powered bed worth 1/4 of the money you'll pay for the best bed again @ $290.00 for the month. The saddest part is it's clean well maintained. Have friendly high school students/family members working. Knowledgeable and professional. Again it boils done to the operating hours. I handed out their cards to people at work and friends whom many like to go before going out on weekends in Stockyards and west side of Ft. Worth. Sadly now many are angry at due to finding out same time I did about the hours of operation and quitting time for 95% of working people thus losing money especially after loss of work due to Covid pandemic. But service here was OK for a while until they put pressure on me to up my membership. Constantly suggesting that I upgrade. And then finally forcing the issue when the only beds available were upgrade beds because the other beds were somehow down. So I canceled my membership, but I had to go back because they were still charging me for it. I never had a problem with anything being dirty, but I do have a problem with treating your customers dirty. And I think it's pretty dirty when you pull a bait and switch and run your business on a shoe string.
