I love this tanning salon. I usually tan 2x a week and did a spray tan once. I was happy with both. Ive tanned for 30+ years and these beds so far are great in my opinion. I've been tanning with glow tanning salon for almost 2 years. I've paid the $70 a month and I do love the tanning beds and all the spa beds that they have. The only problem I've had is that they require eyewear that we have to purchase, which is OK I have literally purchased three different pairs of eyewear. Unfortunately, I didn't have my bag today so I couldn't tan unless I purchased another one. I was not gonna do that because then it would be my fourth pair. They should have a sanitized jar with eyewear for people that do forget their own. I'm really sad because I'm debating stopping my membership. I've paid them a lot of money and I know it's my fault for not bringing my bag today, but now they might lose my business, is it really worth it to them not to provide extras for us to use? They don't make you buy a robe and they reuse those. Just something for the owner, manager to think about!! read more

She was running the entire huge store by herself on an extremely busy day (Thursday 2pm), and somehow still managed to be kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming to everyone who walked in. She never once seemed rushed or overwhelmed with all the customers. She took the time to answer questions, explain everything clearly, and made sure we all felt taken care of. That level of professionalism and positive attitude under pressure is rare, and it did not go unnoticed. 5 STARS! I do really like Glow Tan and their customer service is great -- everyone there is super nice and helpful. However, I recently got a spray tan and I'm really disappointed with how it turned out. It's extremely patchy and not blended at all -- it literally goes from white to tan with no smooth transition. I followed all the instructions exactly as the lady told me, did the positions correctly, waited the right amount of time, and even watched videos beforehand to make sure I did everything right. I've had spray tans before, but this one just looks so bad, and it's really upsetting because it was for my homecoming. I wish the results had matched the great service. read more

Right Decision Recently moved my membership from a National Competitor to Glo at Alliance. It was recommended by a friend, but why make the move? The cost is significantly lower with access to all beds. Oh wait, and their spa services, which I was hesitant about until I tried it last week. It was fabulous and perfect for hydrating your skin with the Texas Heat in full effect! What's even better is their team. Every time I walk in the door, I'm greeted with friendly service, which we all know is no longer the norm. Shout out to Abbey G, who is hilarious, so helpful and knowledgeable! clean and great selection of beds but besides that I feel like they are constantly trying to push products on us. very pushy sales tactics without first asking the right questions to see what they may recommend based on your tanning goals. every time we go in they try to get us to buy different lotions that are WAY over priced in comparison to what you can purchase online. They don't allow you to bring in most lotions that they don't sell which forces you to buy their products (some of which are 75% more in price than what you can find on Amazon. we went in yesterday and multiple employees were trying to aggressively sell us new products after we kept saying we were not interested. BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT & UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT CARD CHARGES FROM THIS COMPANY In December, I wrote my first negative review about Glo Tanning. I removed the review after the company attempted to make things right. On 1/3 I received an attempted UNAUTHORIZED charge on my credit card for $20.15 from "GloTanning". I called the company and spoke with a "Devine". She told me that could not have happened as my card was not on file. She told me to send a copy of the charge to "hello@glotanning.com". I did but never received a response. Today (1/12) I received ANOTHER attempted UNAUTHORIZED charge on my credit card for $20.15 from "Glo Tanning Addison" on a card that "WAS NOT ON FILE". I just sent another email DEMANDING that they remove my card from their system. I DON'T HAVE A MEMBERSHIP WITH THIS COMPANY AND NOW NEVER WILL. This is a common practice by membership companies because the charge is so small that people will not notice and they collect millions of dollars from unsuspecting consumers. Credit Card fraud by businesses is a major problem everywhere. I advised them this morning not only would I be writing reviews across all review platforms, but also be contacting the Texas Attorneys General about their fraudulent activity. I enjoy the atmosphere, however! Today I went in and they made me wait because all of the spa services where dirty... they where all empty and the gal at the front was sitting on her phone! "Not cleaning"! After my wait I go in and then she lets me know there are no towels the are dirty... I had a smal one so I was okay with proceeding! A moment later I could not find a robe... they where dirty as well! I use the robe to move rooms after a service... I told her I would not offer services if this is how the service is! I left! Customer service is lacking at this location. This morning I arrived to tan and a customer service representative by the name of Abby checked me in. Upon my arrival, there was no greeting or smile. Abby literally looks like she hates her job and hates her life. She proceeded to command my name and then asked me to show her my eyewear which the person next to me was not asked for. I asked her why, and she told me that everyone is asked for their eyewear when they check in for every visit. I proceeded to let her know that I have never been asked for it, and that is fine, but that she was being very rude and discourteous when asking. I asked her if she was the manager and she informed me that she was not. I told her I would be reporting her to management which I did upon my arrival at home. Abby is not good for your business, she definitely won't be helping you sell any memberships or products. She is rude and inconsiderate. She belongs nowhere in the world of customer service. She also burned me on my second visit. I only tanned for six minutes on my first day and on my second visit for a minute or two longer and she tanned me the longest and I suffered a terrible sunburn. These are just a couple of examples of her behavior when I am in the salon. I hope you take this seriously and do something about it. She is ruining the vibe of this location as everyone else is very friendly and courteous. read more

I usually love going to this location, however, the employees make a difference in the experience that you will have. I arrived at 8:45pm and their store hours say they are open until 9pm. The lights were off already, but I walked up to see if they were open due to the fact that they weren't closed yet. The two girls working at the front desk were not helpful and they refused to give services. The excuse given was because they take apart the beds at night. I could tell that they cleaned up for the night and that they just didn't want to clean up again. Meanwhile, a third employee was just sitting in the massage chairs just waiting for end of shift. I think this response is unprofessional and that customer service is not something these employees value. If Glo states that they close at 9pm, they should allow customers to tan until 9pm. read more

Well, it seems I need to write another review as Glo has its ups and downs. It's been a great deal of since my last review....... The store has not been open at least two times in the morning until 9 or 930. Very unprofessional! Also seems a lot of the beds are broken and never seem to get fixed although promised monthly....... I'd leave again never to return but for Audra's excellent service. She needs to be the store manager! Hopefully she could square this store away. RUN! don't even bother. Worst customer service ever and they keep getting sold out and no one knows anything. I just left looking like i was beat from one of their old out of date spray machines. I came out like a nightmare, they offered to give me 40% off the kit to fix myself! then offered to give me wipes to wipe my entire body to be sprayed again! I've already been here an hour. an hour! so 30 more mins to wipe my body and give it another try? that's what y'all offer? disgusting. terrible service. once confronted at the front the younger girl got super catty, even called me a liar when I said no one told me to hold my arm above me head. what was a I asked? she asked me if I was famaliar with the positions? well obviously not. hello. I have been a customer there through 4 different owners/business names. I started at Megatan about 8 years ago, so I was grandfathered in when I transferred to Glow Sun Spa. The manager gave me the luxury service plan which included the Magic bed and all services. This was a promotion during the grand opening for existing members of Megatan. I was able to use the cocoon, fit room and hydration bed all on the same day for $61.95 a month, that was my total charge every month for the last 8 years. This all changed when the new owners took over, I started being charged $79.79 since November 2022 and was told multiple times I would receive a refund for the difference, well this never happened. I have called several times, I get the runaround and even had the manager at the store call guest service. The employees there are awesome and have tried to resolve this issue for me, I just wish customer service and the owners would care more about their customers. I called again and have a (ticket #515583) and nothing has been done. Sadly after 8 years of being a loyal customer I may have to cancel and go somewhere else. At this point I just want all my money back! read more

I have been a member here since Jan 2019. I love all the spa options they have available here and most of the staff is really great. I am always super nice, polite and patient when I come here, but I seem to always encounter some sort of problem EVERY time I come here. Everything from other people being helped before me, spa session time being messed up, LONG waits (like 30 minutes+), occasional rude staff. I think it boils down to it being over crowded on the weekends and some evenings (the waiting area is frequently packed and lines to just check in, even with 2-3 people working the front desk)and a poor, slow computer system. I only use the Spa services, not the tanning, so my review only pertains to that. read more

Love tanning at the Bedford and alliance locations. However the alliance location is constantly out of cryo. Me and my wife purchased several sessions of cryo, and have to drive 30 min from grapevine to use them. On several occasions we've gotten there and they've been out. Due to this issue we will no longer purchase anymore cryo. We will use cryo x in grapevine instead. read more

I came in with a friend to take advantage of the awesome free tan for a year offer! Well they convinced us to try some nice lotions which gets you access to luxury level beds for a period of time. I explained to the gentleman that I had a bad experience in the past with a lotion and I would like to avoid that going forward. This lotion left little brown pieces all over my skin. I was told it was due to the bronzers in the lotion. He said this lotion shouldn't be an issue. So I gave it a try and it did the same thing. I came out and showed him my skin. He was so patient and helpful. He gave me some suggestions and asked me to give it a try again. He said if it happens again that his manager would take care of me no problem. I asked him if I would need to ask for him but he said no, His manager would take care of me no problem. So, After getting home my skin became irritated and the dirt particles were all over my body! I showered and my beautiful tan washed away :(. So the next day I came back and spoke to a nice lady who tried to also give me some suggestions but understood after I explained what happened. She grabbed another woman with dark brown hair and blue eyes. Before I could explained everything to her she firmly said that they cannot refund it. I told her I just want a different lotion. I said I will even get one of the more expensive ones but I cannot use that lotion and it wasn't cheap! She reiterated again that she would not be able to refund the item because I used it and she could not resell it. She then began moving around lotions and not really paying attention to me. I asked for the manager and or corporates phone number. She grabbed a sticky note, wrote down the number and then stuck it to the table in front of me with a smile. I was baffled. Fortunately the nice lady from before got a lady name Kristin to help me. Kristin was so incredibly empathetic and patient with me. She credited my account without question and found me some awesome samples to try so that we don't have to go through this again! She was so knowledgeable and sensitive. She walked me through a number of lotions and gave me samples to try! She also got me set up with a spray tan and patiently walked me through the entire process. She then talked to me about some great strategies behind getting a great tan fast! I was so impressed with her service that I downloaded this app just to leave this review for her. If I worked in Fortworth I would recruit her to work for me. She worked with such tact and genuine empathy. I will continue to tan here because of her!! And I will probably upgrade to the luxury package after this month! Thank you Kristin! You rock! I really hope that other lady gets coached on how to properly speak to customers. this was probably the worst glo i have been to. seriously wish i could give it 0 stars. the last time i had went, there versa machine was broke and while i was there the other machine broke as well. and they did not tell me until my dad came in to ask why it was taking so long. AFTER I HAD PAID. now this time the girls were very rude towards me. i had asked for a spray tan and the girl said there were 2 people in front of me. so i was thinking the wait would be 20-30 minute. nope. it ends up being an hour. there are 4 people in front of me instead of the 2 i was told. while one girl was in there the machine had stopped spraying post. a couple and 2 others where the people in front . i asked them "hey how much longer" they had told me "oh just 2 people left" after the couple went. so why lie about it. then the girl goes "just so you know it's spray tan season so it will be an hour every time you go" would have been a good idea to tell me that when i had first walked in and before i had paid. the girls working always have an rude tone and i find it upsetting. the glo in Roanoke is way better and much more welcoming read more

I would agree with previous reviews that it is packed most evenings with wait times. The staff seems friendly but maybe not always to most knowledgeable on lotions and information they give you regarding the tanning beds. I would suggest researching lotions yourself before purchasing. I love the tanning beds and the pods. I would especially love it if they would open more locations, maybe in near South Fort Worth (Benbrook area) or in other towns like Weatherford or Granbury. I would gladly purchase the bigger packages if I had more locations to use since my home is 60+ miles from my office where the 2 locations are located and Bedford isn't any closer. Overall I would recommend this tanning salon and spa due to the beds are very nice and the staff at least at Heritage Trace Pkwy are friendly. read more
