I went here to get my spray tan for homecoming. When you walk in the story it smells amazing, it's very luxurious and nice and the people are nice too. The person who helped me was named Hannah and she was amazing, she answered all my questions and explained all the process to me and was super kind. Just an update on the spray tans. Last week, I tried one for the first time - I went with the dark (I think that's level 3, as my skin-tone is already medium). Result was good - even color, no orange or streaking. My only issue was I didn't like my face to look that dark. Spray tan on my face just looks dirty, especially on any dry areas. So, yesterday, I tried again - this time, level 4 extra-dark, and I covered my face/ears. Today, my legs have the color I want, and my face does not have the same, which is a good thing! The only reason why I came here was because they do walk-in's. Now that I am here, I'm so happy I came. The price is right where I needed to be and I didn't even know that until I sat down in their luxurious massage chairs to fill out a questionnaire form that I wish was longer so I can sit here longer. If this is how it is starting , i can only imagine how it's going to finish. A little background history first. I was a member of TanCo for years. I would buy a package, start tanning in the spring to get a good base tan, then freeze my membership. The company would debit my account $5 a month until I would unfreeze. I would be able to use the debited money toward products. I had banked 40+tans that I could use for whatever level bed. If I didn't want to pay the monthly fee, I could tan still but they would debit me two tans for each time I came to tan instead of one. I hadn't been in since before the pandemic. Then I noticed one day it had changed to Glo Tan. I didn't get any call or any written correspondence when the business changed owners. My bank account has still been debited the $5 a month. I thought for sure all my 3 years of debited charges and my 40+ tans were gone. I ran across another TanCo in Ballwin. Hallelujah! I went in, explained the situation and they let me tan. Upon leaving the young lady apparently had spoken to her boss. She told me I would need to go back to Glo Tan and my account would still be in tact-all my banked tans and the $5 a month that had been debited. Excellent. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. A couple weeks ago I went to Glo Tan and explained everything. She told me my 40+tans were gone! She said I could tan for $27/month on their old level one bed or upgrade to their plan (around $72 a month). She said I only had 16 months of debits that could be used toward product. What happened to the other money? I'm really angry how there has been no communication with me about all the changes. I was not given the option to use those tans within a certain amount of time. They were just gone. That was a decent amount of money I had spent on those. The money TanCo debited did not carry over to Glo Tan either. I understand when businesses change owners or are bought out things change. However, I believe I should have been given the opportunity to use what I had paid for. I'm very disappointed and frustrated! I went in yesterday to get the $85 of product from the months they had debited my account and to cancel. To add insult to injury I couldn't even cancel my "membership" then. She had to put a note in the system and have somebody call me. This is ridiculous! read more

I would give 5star, but they need to change a few things. There should never be only 1 worker on a Saturday, and people who have already checked in should get first pick of bed rather than having to stand in line again in a bathrobe. Gracie was wonderful. On my second visit, when i decided to buy a membership, I was surprised when a manager told me they could not sign me up "and" give Gracie credit for the sale. Since 1989, my income has been derived by commissions from selling products. I was not going to allow anyone to get the commission from my membership except for Gracie. I was shocked a manager could not make this happen. Another issue with GLO is that we can NOT call the store. All calls go to a national call center. I had to keep driving to the store until I found Gracie was working. This wasted a lot of my time. read more

She goes here and I wanted to try a spray tan for the first time so she suggested I go with her, when we got there they said I should do a level 1 I thought they would know what was best.! I waited 24 hours to shower because I never noticed anything neither d my mom she said we should go back they would probably make it right but they made her pay again even though the girl said yeah doesn't look like you sprayed. just a war if you ever spray never use a 1 I think it's a clear coat other than that the place is nice and everyone was nice too. only writing this rev because my mom made me she prolly not going to be happy with what this still pale kid says though ‍ read more

As an avid spray tanner, Glo really appealed to me with there unlimited spray package. When they work, yes "They" there are 2, they are GREAT! But more often than not, they are constantly out of order, under maintenance, waiting for a part, etc. It's very frustrating. Especially when the employees act annoyed when you inquire on how long they will be down. Or when they tell you to go to there next closest location which is 30 to 40 minutes away. Ha! Yeah okay! This is the absolute best tanning spa I've ever been to hands down!!! The beds are amazing never a bulb out and the misters always work. And let me say the hydration pod is so relaxing. I can't wait to try the other services. And the workers are very attentive and answer all your questions. I cannot say enough good things about Glo!! Had a great experience on my very first visit for a spray tan. Used the Norvelle booth & had a nice bronzy glow! Staff are SUPER Friendly! My only reason for not giving 5 stara ia that they didnt provide any protection for the solesnof your feet like they show in the video. I applied a ton of their barrier lotion to my feet, to the point where I was slipping & sliding. The soles of my feet ended up looking darker than George Hamilton!! Took me several days of trying various home remedies to get the color off the bottom of my feet...just in time for my BFF's wedding a few days later, in which I was the Maid of Honor! I HIGHLY suggest standing on the wash cloths, if they dont provide any sole of foot protection. read more

Save your time and your money, the attitudes of these employees is unreal. Customer service is not their forte. If you politely turn down a membership the 7 million times they try to sell you on it your experience goes from average to borderline bully. Employee actually eyed me and laughed as I walked out ... are we in high school? Last I checked I'm a grown woman and paying customer. If you want to act like a child maybe you shouldn't work in customer service. UPDATE: I have now been contacted twice to remove my review so that I do not hinder their future business. The crazy thing is as soon as I left the salon I called customer service to file a complaint and was given a few excuses as to why I received the level of service I did "she may be a new employee, our employees are trained to advise you on the best service for your skin tone" and there was really no resolution to the issue. It was not until I posted a public review that they seem to want to "make it right" and they only want to "make it right" in return for my review to be taken down or updated to be positive about my customer service experience.... do better Glo Tanning. read more

Around a month ago, I planned on purchasing a membership for one month. I was given options of several different packages. They had told me that the 3 month package was a better route then the 1 month package. They said I would be able to pay for 3 months upfront but freeze the remaining two months for whenever I decided to come back. Several times before selecting this option, I said "Are you sure I can freeze this whenever I want?". Their response was "Yes". I did a month of tanning in February and called March 2nd to freeze my package for the remaining two months. I was told by a Glo Tanning Representative that I did not have the package to do so. I then decided to go to the salon and discuss the issue. The two girls at the front desk, one which sold me the package, said I needed to be a member for 3 months in order to freeze on my next package, if I decided to even purchase another package. I told her that was not the agreement on which she sold me the package and failed to inform me of regulations. I then proceeded to tell her I wanted a refund because I was lied to about the package she sold me and her response was "We cannot do refunds." On another note, when I paid over 300 dollars for the package, I was never given a receipt. The employees are lying to customers and manipulating them into purchasing packages. read more
