The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in helping you understand the functions of the very different beds they have. However, it is EXTREMELY overpriced. Although I did not join a monthly membership (being from out of the area) my first time cost me $34. I did purchase a packet of bronzer but even so, that's still steep. The following day, it cost me $38.50... and I did not purchase any packets because I had some left from the prior day. I'm not sure how they calculate their cost per tan but the service price is very steep. If I lived locally I'd probably find another spot to tan.

Instead of letting me transfer stores like a franchise should they were forcing me to set up a new membership with a cc & treating me as they were doing me a favor to use their location as if I wasn't already a paying member. To sign up for the same benefits I had in TX would be exponentially higher needing to also sign up for a wellness program. Understandable the Lancaster store doesn't have identical machines but they would not honor the wellness benefits I had with my long term membership or even discuss including something comparable. New membership with less value when I simply needed to transfer PBT locations? Sign up again for automatic draft? No thank you. I spoke with the owner of the PBT Lancaster but she was unwilling to discuss a negotiation or acknowledge the frustration of loss of benefits. I googled, as a consumer, how using franchises benefit us. Franchises are suppose to be ensuring the CUSTOMER receives the same level of quality & service regardless of the location. Epic fail. Was a member since 2019. I need to feel like I can trust a company to treat me fairly to trust them with automatic payments. This location lost my trust when they didn't respect my membership moving from another state so I canceled my membership. This review comes after speaking with the owner. Don't let their response fool you. The owner was given the opportunity to right the wrong before I made this review.

I followed up multiple times, and the owner never responded to my emails. When I called to ask about the refund, I spoke with a woman named Dana. Instead of helping resolve the issue, she was extremely rude, called me a liar, and spoke down to me over the phone. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable. I do want to say that the younger girls who work at the front desk have always been kind, helpful, and professional. They were never the problem, and I don't want my experience with management to reflect poorly on them. The tanning beds are also not well maintained. In my experience, more than half the time I visited, at least one bulb in the bed I used was burned out, and there were also times when entire beds were out of service. Between being charged after canceling my membership, not receiving the refund I was promised, the lack of response from management, and the way I was treated when I tried to resolve the issue, I cannot recommend spending your money here.

The person at the counter looked up my name and said you had 3 but they expired last week. If you would've come in last week you could've used them. I said really, okay, well I am not going to buy a new package since I just lost 3 sessions that I paid for. I left and went home and looked at the FAQ and it says packages never expire. I then emailed them and no response or phone call. Below is directly from their website. Do my sessions / packages ever expire? There are no time dates or expiry dates on packages or sessions purchased. They are there until you use them. A little customer service goes a long way. I bought 5 sessions, 3 expired. Do you think I will be back and how many people do you think I've told this story too? I've been going there since 2004, will find a new place.
