We tried various machines where every time we would get the item and the claw would be moving halfway towards the drop off section. The claw would open up on its own, even though the item was secure in the claw while moving the first couple seconds. The mail working the register told me his manager calibrates the claw machines in a way that you have to keep spending on it until you can have a payout. He said there's nothing he can do about it and that's how claw machines work. I feel like that's a poor excuse if you spend about $50 for young kids to try to get a prize. Other claw machines around town do not drop your item that many times and force you to keep spending over and over again. I think this will be our last time here.

Her dog portrait was pretty good for first try. After the second class with Sarah, Annabel emerged saying, "Nana, I love art class, can I go every day?" Well, she is working on a portrait of her and her Mom now and she can't wait for next week's class.
