My son has been coming here for over a year taking Karate with Sensei Rey. He loves it. My son prefers Sensei Rey (not that there's anything wrong with the other Senseis, you know how kids are when they are attached to a specific person) so he was bummed when his schedule changed and instead of having class twice a week he only has it once a week now. My son has competed in one tournament and is prepping to compete in another. Now, only if he can get a belt test done that would be awesome. Other than that Sensei Rey really takes the time to make sure his students (of all ages too) get their techniques correct & it shows in the tournaments. My son brought home a gold medal for Kata & a silver medal for Kumite. Oh! One more thing, the space can get tight when everyone is in class. Maybe expanding or separating the sitting area? There's a room with a glass windowed room right behind where the parents sit, maybe... it could just be a sitting room for the parents during this time frame? I'm really not sure what is in that room though. Also, that way the kids that run around during class can be contained in a separate room so as not to bother the karate class in session but can still see the karate class through the window? Just a suggestion. Gina the owner is very accommodating & was kind enough to understand our situation in December so we were able to alter our contract a bit before signing. My five-year-old daughter loves it here! We are taking both group piano classes and art classes! Miss Gina and the teachers are very friendly. The art class is very light and fun and challenges her, we can't wait each week to see what project we're going to make. The group piano setting, using headphones and playing each song back to the child through speakers, is a clever way of engaging them! My daughter just mentioned she wants to take yet another class there... many more choices! read more

A studio full of music lovers! If you or your kids are looking to learn and instrument, I would recommend trying out Landero. My only downside is the location, which is across from South Point and not my favorite parking lot - but we have never been bothered by anyone. I love their piano techniques for teaching younger kids and it makes it affordable. I believe music is a very important part of life! read more

Came here for a trial art class for my daughter. I was intrigued listening to the kids playing on he pianos. The girl at the front was very friendly. And he art teacher introduced himself and was also very friendly. My daughter took and hour and a half art class. She drew a flower and a vase with crayons. She learned to to shade with crayons and how to use crayons in different ways to do things in art. After her hour and a half she said she really liked it. I will most likely be signing her ip for a class or two really soon. Shes interested in Violin & art. I like the facility and also like that they have so many options. The prices are decently priced and from what I can tell its clean. I look forward to enrolling my daughter for some classes. read more

Absolutely loved this place. I don't write a lot of reviews but felt compelled to write about my very pleasant experience. We were able to set up a private group painting class for all ages (from 8 -60) and the instructor was so patient and made sure that my we all left feeling we had created our own masterpiece. I can't wait to come back here with my girlfriends and craft and paint some more. Also they have such a variety of classes for my daughter I look forward to enrolling her in voice or music at a very reasonable price. I however was most impressed with the owner whom I felt went above and beyond to make sure our experience was enjoyable. Will absolutely be back! read more

I take my g/f daughter CC here every Monday for art and piano classes she really likes going here. Also it's a pretty good price for the classes she gets. She has been coming here for over a yr now. My son Ryan has been taking piano lessons for 3 years at the Landero Learning Center and within that 3 years he could read notes very well and play pieces from classical composers such as Chopin, Liszt, and Beethoven. When he started High School he would go to the music room to play piano because he wanted to practice and show people his playing. His orchestra teacher heard his playing and asked if he wanted to join orchestra. He was delighted that he decided to the class and be the orchestra pianist. I've been a student at Landero Learning Center for over 3 years now (before it was even called that name), and having piano lessons here motivates me to learn more. I started when I was 12 years old and now I'm 16 and I still enjoy coming here to learn and play piano. Honestly, at first I didn't like piano too much, but the teachers aren't too strict and allow me to learn pieces that I want to learn at my level which is why I started liking piano more. Now I all I do in my free time is practice piano, and I'm even the orchestra pianist in High School. As long as you practice, you'll end up liking piano a lot because you watch yourself improve with the help of the instructors. One thing I also like are the recitals that allows people to show what they've learned the past year. I'm sure anyone would love to learn at the Landero Learning Center. read more
