Would even name his toys after them while playing at home. Morning drops off were good and he was excited to go to school. Come to follow school year we had nothing but problems. My son would cry and hold on to me for dear life in the mornings. He never wanted to go to school. Dad and I have 50/50 custody, so at first, I thought he was just having attachment issues. It broke my heart to leave him, but I had to work and trusted the school to take good care of him. I started noticing very early on that he was having behavior issues in this class. Almost everyday they told me something. They would complain about him never sitting still, not wanting to participate in activities, hitting his fellow classmates. I did my part and explained to him that we can't behave that way at school and need to be nice to his fellow classmates. There was an incident where he fell and hit his ear. They called me and told me there was a minor incident, but he is fine and not crying. His grandma picked him up from school that day, so I did not see his ear till the end of the day. His ear was extremely bruised and swollen. He wouldn't even let dad, or I touch it. When dad asked to see the video of how it happened, they claimed they do not have cameras in the class, but they literally have one right above the changing table.... They started labeling my kid as the ringleader in his class and a threat to himself and his fellow classmates. Claiming he is the ONLY one to not sit still, listen, and misbehave in a class FULL OF 2 YEAR OLDS. I'm not saying my son is perfect and is always on his best behavior, for crying out he's a two year old. But to label him as a threat? My final straw with this school was this coming Thursday when I received a long email on his behavior a WHOLE DAY later from when it took place. They stated they spoke with dad since it was his day to pick him up. The email that we were sent had things on there that weren't even discussed with dad. I decided to reply piece by piece to this email addressing each bad behavior. Most of the things they told me were behaviors he doesn't even display at home. The one that stood out to me the most was that he stuck his whole arm in the toilet!!! How was he able to go into the bathroom and do that without anyone noticing? When I addressed each thing and all my concerns in the email, the director (Jacqueline) responded, using her physiology multiplication. She basically ignored everything I said and stated that his bad behavior is going to increase due to him not being in school consistently. Mind you they sent him home every time he had a runny nose even if there were no cold symptoms, dad was not comfortable leaving him there, and he had missed more days of school with his other teacher and had no issues. She then proceeded to use the excuse that the teachers can't provide their undivided attention to him, yet again in his other class the teachers weren't able to give their undivided attention due to there being other students and he had no issues... To top it all off she disclosed confidential things that were said separately by dad and I. Almost as if she was trying to start something between us. Not once did she address my concerns on the neglect. All she addressed was how I am trying to attempt to accuse the school of targeting my son. Jacqueline states that they feel there needs to be a foundation made of trust, honest communication, and follow through between the school and the parents, but if your honest communication is not to her liking, she will kick your kid out! Dad and I did our part in talking to our son and explaining to him the behaviors he needs to display at school. And with the approach they took seemed as if we didn't. She does not work with you and your situation. We put our trust in this school every day we dropped him off. Dad has multiple videos of him being neglected and teachers complaining about the kids crying and not listening. Yet all Jacueline could say was he disrespected her teachers and herself. What a joke. To know he was not being treated the way he needed to be and to be shot down when addressing these concerns is disgusting. All she cares about is collecting the money from the parents. I have spoken with multiple people who have dealt with her, and they all have nothing nice to say. Do yourself a favor and don't put your kid in this school.

My son is 3 years old now and he has been here since 1.5 years. I dont regret my decision to start an early education program for him. He has learned so much in this place. My kids recently went here for summer camp for 1 session. The teachers were great, always greeted…read morewith a smile , loving and caring with the kids, very nice staff. Very good on security. When picking up your kid you must go to the front office and sign the them out. Teachers will not release a kid if you don't have the slip from the front office. Very convenient/accessible location with plenty of spaces to park. Playground is spacious, classroom sizes are decent. Again back to the teachers we had Miss Juany and Miss patty during the day , our little little ones classrooms were 2 doors down from each other so drop off and pick up was easy. For after school care they were with Miss Kiki , also very nice and welcoming. Here is what I didn't like: the food..... Morning and afternoon snack which is included in tuition, not the best snack selection and didn't see milk as part of either snacks. Lunch is not included in the tuition. For us it was this was very difficult bc our kids are used to warm meals. My suggestion: buy a Thermos to store the lunch so that it will stay warm ( eating sandwiches every day can get boring ), and even with the thermos lunch was a mission. Also didn't see milk as part of either morning or afternoon snack. Again my 6 and 4 year old are used to drinking milk in the morning and with the afternoon snack. So I had to pack 2 lunch boxes per kid : one for the snack and one for the lunch. As far as summer activities go there could have been a little more movement. In four weeks of camp not one field trip, and for the price we paid this was not worth it . Again....teachers are great. If you are looking for a place that has good security and has loving caring individuals for your little ones then this is the place. As far as the curriculum goes I can't comment on this because we have only used the facility for summer camp. But From what I hear from the other moms it is good.

This was the first school my child attended and in the few weeks she was there she started exhibiting aggressive behaviors she never displayed prior to attending. She started hitting, scratching, pinching, and pushing. They use covid as the reason to not allow parents to set foot in the school so you never know what is going on in your kids class and can never see or communicate with the teachers. Teachers are supposed to message you daily and give you updates but I was lucky if I got one photo a day and many days I got no updates on my child and 80% of my messages to the teachers would go unanswered. I brought this up to the director and she shrugged it off. When your child is too young to talk, this is NOT okay. This school does not care how sick kids are as they never send them home. Every time I looked through her classroom window or got a photo I saw kids visibly sick with green mucus running down their noses or coughing/ sneezing non-stop. Yes, I know that it is normal for kids to get sick when starting school but this was another level of sick. Every 3-5 days my daughter was sick with something different, had to go to urgent care, and even got pink eye. I missed so much work staying home with her sick and then getting me sick that it defeated the purpose of paying for child care. The last straw was when my child was bitten by another kid. The bite was so hard you could still see the imprint of every tooth on my childs arm the next day. I should have been called immediately by the director. Instead I was sent a text message by teacher and it was treated like no big deal. I asked 3 separate times for the director to contact me about the incident and she never bothered to call me. I had to track her down and when I finally spoke to her on the phone she was very dismissive and acted like it was no big deal. The few times I was able to peer in my child class through the window I saw the kids playing with toys by themselves while the "teacher" was just there watching them. They do not provide enriching activities or play and teach the kids. They do the bare minimum and just supervise them. My daughter is now in a new school and the difference in her behavior is night and day. Aggressive behavior immediately stopped and she is excited to go to school and runs inside when she sees her teacher instead of crying and not wanting to let me go like she would do at Riverside.

My son, wife, and myself have had a previous horrible experience with the public school system…read more Because of that, my wife sacrificially homeschooled him for kindergarten while she worked on finding the resources he needed to overcome some obstacles in his life, including being afraid to go into a school setting because of the aforementioned experience. Finally we decided that he needed to get back into the school setting so my wife did some research. Our first impression was great, and we ultimately decided to enroll our son with them. We enrolled him for their summer program mainly to get him acclimated to the school setting before starting the first grade there in the fall. He was happy to be going the first day I dropped him off, which was such a huge relief given the previous school experience. Moreover, when I asked him later that night if he had a good day at school, he told me, "No, I had a bad day." I thought, "Oh great, not again," but my wife told me it was because he was upset that he had to leave when she went to pick him up. I am glad that my wife has found this school, and that they truly live up to their name. It was such a huge relief to find out that Children's Resource has all the resources my son needs to thrive in a school setting. Not only that, they are more than willing to work with you and any with other resources you have obtained outside of the school's network.

I've enjoyed all the employeeS until the moment I turned in a transfer sheet to take my daughters to an "A" school. I received no call backs from any phone calls and just keep being ignored whether by ignoring calls, emails, or even when I would show up at school. It got bad enough that school board needed to get involved..... you can tell about someone's character when things don't go their way. I've seen their character and I'm deeply disappointed. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because my daughter really enjoyed her teachers.
