Now, I've a green card in my hand! We are using Global Law Centers for all our immigration needs for the last 5 years. They helped us to get our EAD and travel documents last two times and finally green cards. I was very impressed by Mr. Nick on his immigration knowledge, confidence, professionalism, kindness and endless efforts to help with every step of the process (from preparation, documents, and follow ups). The whole process took less than 2 years to get my green card after we filed the PERM. I upgraded from EB3 to EB2. We did the PERM process in mid 2013 (documentation) and filed on Sep 2013 and got the PERM approved in early 2014 (no queries). Then we filed the I-140 in mid 2014 and it got approved within a week (we did premium process). Global Law Centers team sent all the papers and request to link my old EB3 to EB2 while filing the I-140, so my I-140 approval notice already had my old priority date and A number. After I-140 approved Nick suggested me to call the customer service to link my EB3 to EB2 since my old EB3 was done by difference attorney. I called and put the request to link my old I-485 (EB3) to new approved I-140 (EB2). Also I asked Global law Centers to change my old I-485 attorney to them. Since my EB3 priority date was current, I got the RFE for medical for me and my wife in the beginning of this year (2015). The original RFE was sent to global law centers office and I got the courtesy copy by mail. I did the medical and gave it to Mr. Nick. He mailed it on the same day. I got the case update notification 3 days after he mailed the RFE. After a week we got our I-485 approved. We got our green cards right after 2 days our case status changed to "mailed the cards" in a week. I want to thank Global Law Centers and William Kent who handled my green card process. I came to U.S. in 2003 on H-1B Specialty Visa. I started my green card process in 2004 from another lawyer. My labor certification was approved but I-140 Petition was denied as I hold 3 year Indian degree. My attorney filed appeals but they were denied as well. My Company's then decided to start new process all over from the beginning again from PERM which again was approved but later denied at I-140 process. Two times I had wasted time which was really frustrating. I had run out of time on my 6 year H-1B time limit with no I-140 approval and was limited to one year extension based on my pending appeals. 8 years of waiting and still nothing. I appreciate all the hard work the firm has done. Now I know what lawyer is good at. Now I know some people can say one thing and do something else. Now I know I should never trust a lawyer. I have grown up so much from my experience with this firm and the H1B application. They applied H1B for me. While they were preparing the case for me, they never gave me any update about my case. Every time I asked, they said they would take care of it. Before the case was filed, I asked them about the job title they were applying for me, they said something, then after my case was rejected, I found that the job title on the application was something else. When my H1B got RFE, I asked Josie. She said the USCIS used RFE to gain more time to review my case. Josie never shared with me her response to RFE. I trusted the law firm, but unfortunately my case got denied. If they have communicated with me and given me updates about my case, I wouldn't have been so furious to find out that my case got rejected. Nick is very good at lying, promising he would do one thing, then just ignored my email. Then after a few follow-ups, I would get an email from his assistant saying the law firm cannot share with us on anything. I remember he told me he believes in God. I always thought religious people are genuine, but Nick is clearly not. I am glad I have gone through this and have learned about it. I am afraid of using my real name in the review as I am just an alien in the United States and I am afraid that person like Nick may sue me for the facts I wrote here. What can I do?
