Any other health issues were ruled out and the only thing that changed in her routine was that I had to get the rats from this place because my usual supplier was all out of the needed size. I have heard from other snake keepers that there has previous occurrences like this has happened before. They used to be good until their only good employees quit. Now the people working there have no clue what they're talking about. I don't know if they've changed their supplier for F/T rodents since then but I'd be very wary of purchasing from them.

It's not a large store and I have come in looking for a specific product that they didn't have in but was told that they could order it for me. I'm not a fan of ordering pet toys and picking them up later but appreciated that they were willing to do that for me. I have come in once and seen a few puppies getting baths and grooming and it's nice that this place offers the service; I don't know of another place downtown that does it. There is a resident bunny that is friendly and the staff encourage you to bring your pets in and to play with the bunny. It's a nice little pet store that has treats, food, grooming/hygiene, toys and pet equipment.

The first instance my dog was temporarily paralyzed and could not use her lower limbs. She was in severe pain. We forked over $10,000 to have a surgery to correct the disc that was paralyzing her. Two months later the same thing happened. Even after containing my dog in a crate and carrying her everywhere. The vet said that this was inevitably going to keep happening as all of her discs were in rough shape. She said it was likely a genetic problem. In the end she had to be put down. After reading everyone else's reviews I too can confirm my puppy came from Europe and was strictly a cash transaction. No information about us or inquiry about how we would be treating the puppy when we purchased her. She was the sweetest puppy but they are pumping puppies out way too quickly to not be a puppy mill. Our family has owned 6 victory bulldogs.... yes 6. Two English bulldogs lived with my parents, two…read morefrenchies at my in-laws, and two frenchies at our household. My parents English bulldogs suffered from some minor to major health problems. At only 6 Months old the female required a double knee replacement surgery and has abnormalities throughout her spine including an extra Rib bone. Her allergies were so bad she would itch her skin raw. She also had a severe heart murmur. She eventually died at the age of 8 playing outside, which the vet deemed a heart attack. The male was healthier but not great. Lots of joint issues, blood in stool, and was deaf at a very young age. He eventually died in his sleep at the age of 8. Our French bulldogs had health issues from the beginning. Our female had a prolapsed Anas and would blood while pooping. She needed a purse string surgery within her first 6 months. She has severe aggression and anxiety issue destroying and chewing things in our house. She eventually developed IVDD where she suffered for 2 years of lameness in her back legs, completely incontinent and we had to put her down at the age of 7. Our male has had consistent incontinent issues where he runs around and pees all over the place. His allergies were also extremely bad and required an exotic protein source in order for his allergies to calm down. He required surgery at the age of 2 -1/2 for IVDD which cost a pretty 10 thousand dollars. He is now 7 and completely deaf and we question his eye sight. In-laws French bulldogs are complete runts. One of them has ears that never stood up. Dogs have funny joints and head sizes. X-rays show a number of abnormalities in their heads, ribs, spines etc. Their male also received treatment for IVDD and abnormalities in his ability to breath. To date they have claimed 35 thousand dollars to their pet insurance! Yes 35 thousand. This breeders use to tell you who the parents were... with pictures and ability to see pedigrees. Now, it seems all puppies are imported overseas with zero knowledge of where they come from. Anyone looking to buy from this breeder please please please beware! Lots of heartbreak. I'm convinced puppy mill dogs are coming into Canada by her and sold due to there "exotic" colours. Puppies are gorgeous looking but damn, you better have deep pockets.
