This is my first time owning a dog, and I know training is an integral part of being a dog owner…read more My boyfriend and I enrolled our puppy Chelsea in this 8 week training course for her to learn obedience, training and commands so she will listen to us and be a better dog in the future. This class was at the London Middlesex Civitan Club every Thursday night between 8pm to 9pm (we got the late night class because of my work schedule). We were referred bya neighbour of ours who took that class. The trainers we had were Deb and Melissa, and their experience and training were phenomenal. Each week we would walk in, and they would have play time for about 5 to 10 minutes, running around, playing and making friends with the other puppies there. We learned a lot of commands to make her stay, sit (which she thinks is laying down, but we'll take it!) up, down, and leave it, few of the many we learned. It takes a lot of patience and practice, and they both were very patient with all the puppies in that class as well as our Chelsea. She was one of the smaller puppies there and all she wanted to do was love everyone. In these 8 weeks, she has learned so much and is starting to become more well behaved. This was an amazing course, and the last week they had a puppy graduation with caps and everything! I highly recommend this class for everyone who has a new puppy and wants really great training. The trainers were amazing, personable and very knowledgeable when it comes to helping us adapt to our dog. If we ever have another dog (which in my boyfriend's case, we will) I will definitely train them here. Thank you for a wonderful course and lots of training tools to help train our Chelsea!

I would not recommend this clinic. We were away on holidays and our dog had diarrhea, so the pet…read moresitter contacted our vet. They did not see the dog, but asked our sitter to drive in to London to pick up a medicine. She did, but the medicine did nothing to stop the diarrhea. Two days later, the dog sitter brought our dog in to be seen, three more medications were prescribed. Our bill, when we got home was $705.27. When I went in to discuss the situation, the vet was very defensive. She spoke rapidly in a louder voice than was needed and refused to even consider my questions. At the end, she told me that she didn't want to continue our relationship and that I needed to find another vet. That was certainly the conclusion that I came to as well. I thought the bill was way out of line, but I paid it.

They have a great "food point" program where you earn points towards a free bag of food. The staff is always polite and eager to help. My dog and I love visiting and he doesn't mind the treats from the person at the counter or the selection of amazing chewies and bones. It's also worth mentioning that I had a pet rabbit for 8 years and I am always impressed by stores that carry good quality timothy hay and food for bunnies. Global Pet Foods gets top marks for that as well!

They have everything you need for your pet here. The food I use is Diamond Naturals and they also have it for me as opposed to other stores saying they will order it in. They also have a designated area where they call bathe and shampoo your pet for a lost cost and very safely secured. I give them a high rating because they are very accommodating. When I bought something that didn't fit and lost the receipt they had no problem exchanging it to a larger size for me. The only downfall is that the road it is located on can be really busy especially being so close to the Wellington intersection. It could be hard to get in and out. I personally drive through the parking lots and get to Wellington that way.
