Oh joy! Global Village Nanaimo's seasonal store is back, this time at Nanaimo North shopping centre, and it's stuffed with beautiful fair trade merchandise. I already found some housewares for my new place and I'll be back to look for holiday gifts. It feels great to support artisans around the world. read more

Shopping at Global Village is a real treat! The interesting variety of International items have been purchased and produced adhering to Fair Trade standards. This makes you feel twice as good about purchases for yourself and for your gifts. Make sure you catch them before Christmas read more

Open NOW from October 4 to December 24, 2025. Global Village Nanaimo is a seasonal Pop-Up shop that brings Fair Trade merchandise from all over the world. It is Non-Profit and run mostly by volunteers. The store is not open year-round, but has an online store that operates all year. Pop-Up stores open in the spring (April/May) and in the Fall (September to December). Please check the website for details of the current location. This store carries baskets, scarves, jewelry, pottery, rugs, spices, coffee, tea, toys, slippers, bags, soaps and much more. We hope to see you soon, or we invite you to visit our online store !
