Located in the southwest corner of 20th Street and 14th Avenue in Vero Beach, Scott's has been around for decades. Plenty of parking - either in the lot, or on the street. Having dealt with Chris, Stephanie, and Scott on several occasions, it's always been a pleasant experience. Whether it's baseball gear for my son, or soccer cleats and an air pump pin for my youngest daughter, I've always found the service to be fast, friendly, and polite. Prices are competitive as well. On my most recent trip to Scott's, my daughter needed soccer cleats. Trying on several different pairs before finding what she wanted, I found Stephanie to be especially helpful in making sure of proper size and fit. My good friend in NY had been on a multi month quest to find the perfect winter coat, so if you are from a colder climate this place is worth a look. There was a table near the register with super deep discounted footwear, as well as the usual standard selection nearby. They sell a lot of sporty apparel here, but also cooler bags, backpacks, hats, water bottles, purses, belts, sunglasses and more. I noticed apparel for all ages too. I ended up finding a cute cross body messenger bag for $9.99.

Last Saturday I drove down to Ocean Drive, intent on "shopping small". My 1st stop was The Beach Shop. I was very disappointed to see that NONE of the employees wearing masks! One young employee followed me upstairs to the sale room & literally hovered over me - maskless - as I browsed the racks of sale clothing. Do these people not know there's a pandemic going on? I'm in the age group that's at risk if I get covid-19, & my husband has underlying health issues. So I won't be shopping at The Beach Shop this season unless their employees start wearing masks & practice Social Distancing.
