He is first of all a sweet and mentally healthy man, to say nothing of his excellent physical appearance. I had an extraction, and can barely remember anything about, whereas this was not the case with another oral surgeon. I had two IMPLANTS with sinus lift, with him which were flawless. I wish he could have lifted my boobs, but that is not his specialty. We are lucky to have him here in Goleta/S.B. His staff are humane and caring, the magazines are even good. I cannot comment on the cost because I have nothing to compare it to. It costs a bundle, but you can take a dental loan and pay it off in a decent amount of time.

This office shows amazing disrespect to patients' time. I had to wait for more than an hour…read more(literally!) for a consultation that lasted 10 minutes and over 50 minutes for a quick progress check. Dr. Riviera is a good oral surgeon but the office manager is grossly incompetent. If you do not want to spend hours waiting there, go to another practice -- there are many qualified oral surgeons in Santa Barbara, whose office managers are effective and competent.
