The consensus on coffee's was an all-round thumbs up. Using Merlo coffee as their supplier, Christopher's presented us with great looking coffee's that were smooth with a rich, bitter aftertaste. Delightful. The meals arrived quickly with no mistakes. They were presented well, and everyone seemed impressed. But here's the only problem. Half of my friends didn't enjoy their meals. A bit bland was one response. Too doughy, was my friend's thoughts on her pizza. Another's chips were soggy and old. We were almost surprised that these meals weren't as impressive as every other part of our experience had been. What was going to be a 5 star rating suddenly turned into about a 3.5 star rating. The place was not full even by social distancing conventions so the waitress grabbed a menu and sat me at a little table in the walkway in front of the kitchen area. I was by myself and did not want to be sat in such an awkward place within a couple of feet of the dividing bar like a naughty school child being sat in front of the class. I went up to the waitress and said I wanted another table please as I was not happy to be sat there and she said, social distancing blah blah blah. No offer of a different seat, just blah blah.
