The food was different from what we ordered The bartender was slow The owner was very inflexible We reserved the hall from 7:30p-11:30p. A few guests arrived early at 7p. The owner refused to open the door until 7:30p on the dot. She had people waiting outside in their cars in the rain. It's not like she had an event before our event. She could have allowed people to sit down and get settled at their tables. Anticipating that guests may arrive late, we booked the bar for 8p-11p. Many of the guests arrived on time. The owner refused to open the bar until 8p. She could have allowed some flexibility and agreed to open the bar from 7:30-10:30p and go with the flow of the event. Regarding the food... we ordered jerk chicken, chicken picata, and beef. The chicken was not jerk it was regular baked chicken quarters. The chicken picata was grilled chicken breast. Which was different from what was ordered. Because the food was good and there were no complaints, we did not raise any concerns. However, we did not get what we ordered. When it came to payment and time, she did not waver. She wanted her money on time, and she refused to be flexible with the time of the event and open bar. However, when it came to delivering what we ordered, she was able to compromise and substitute without our consent. Overall, the event ended up being nice despite the kinks. Part 2 I'm at my baby shower so of course I'm not on my phone when I mean my phone got blown up with back to back text messages and non stop calling from him about the payment for the 1 hr immediately ($112). I was already upset about how much I was harassed from these people and I hand it over to my husband to deal with it . Now it's the walk through my feet are swollen so I told my husband to go do the walk through cause I couldn't stand on my feet any longer. My husband said the whole entire time he's trying to find any little thing to complained about through the walkthrough. I rented a treat cart from this lady he recommended ( she was there at venue decorating when I dropped the payment off ) and told she has one and I can rent it from her. They work together as a team cause he was there helping her get things done . The treat cart was left in the venue because again they are a team . He proceeded to tell my husband he doesn't know her and that my husband needs to put the treat cart outside or take it with us lol. I told my husband don't removed that cart because he is lying he does know the lady they work together. He's just trying to find any reason to be like we didn't do our part. I called the lady telling her what he's trying to make us do and she was like no she's going to call him right now . If you don't know the lady then why does she have your number?? Why did you recommend her to me ???? Why lie ??? I had to get tables from dollar tree because he didn't give me the one we agreed on and I told my husband to grab it for me ( it was only one ) , ofc he forgot so when the walkthrough happened he saw and was like "everything that you brought in must go with you " my husband proceeded to tell him that I told him but he just forgot and was about to grab it and take it with him. The guy was like leave it don't worry about, we cleaning up tomorrow . Lol what was the point of bringing it up . Anyways walkthrough is now done this is at 1:15 in the morning he told my husband we will receive the deposit back on Wednesday (party was Saturday-Sunday morning ). Now Wednesday I made it my business to text him bright and early cause when we asked for that extra hour he was pressing us about the money . Now I'm going to give you that same energy. I ask him for the money he proceed to say I will be send it later. How is it when we had to pay you , you wanted your money immediately and now that it's our turn to get our money back we have to wait for it ??? I told him that and he was like will the contract state it takes a week to receive deposit back ( when I read that part I was baffled lol cause a week for deposit lol but anyways I still respected his rule ). I said yes it does state a week but you said out of your own mouth you will give the deposit back on Wednesday so how are you mad cause I ask for our deposit back the day you said you will give it?? He could have told my husband okay so in a week you will get your deposit back but he didn't he said Wednesday . Take accountability!! Venue is nice but after being harassed and how things were handled unprofessionally , especially the response from him as the owner they won't be getting my business again! read more

Part 1 I've rented multiple venues before and this by far as been the most annoyed I've been about a venue/owner. The first time I went to see the place to figure out if I wanted to rent it out and I felt in love with the place , it was beautiful. My husband and I decided to go with it . We paid the deposit of $350 and a contract was sent with all the rules which I had to put my initial next to each rule making sure I understood. The next month we had to pay the amount of $1550 plus taxes that was due and I was able to send $1000 and my bank didn't allow me to send the remaining because I exceeded my daily limit so I was told that he'll be there at the venue the next day so I told him, I will come by venue next day so I give the remaining amount in cash ($550). I was then told the rules again( the same ones from the contract) . Two days before the event I got a text stated that I had 8hrs instead of 7hrs and asked if I wanted to come a bit early . Original time (5pm-12am) and now it was going to be (4pm-12am) . I told him that's even better give my balloon decorator time to set up . He said okay . Now the day of the event and before the day of the event I was never told that I had to be there exactly at 4pm cause there will be someone waiting for me to give me the rules for the 3rd time . I was leaving my makeup appointment at 4 and I got a text from the husband stating that his wife was at the venue waiting for me . I was confused because again nothing was told to me that I needed to be there at 4pm to receive rules again so at this point I'm pissed . He asked for my eta I said 4:21 cause I'm using the gps but the gps was taking me to another Glorious banquet hall which I did not know there were 2 of them . During that time my decorator text me she was there and I told him hey my decorator is there , he was like oh he can't let her in cause I'm not there I'm looking wth , I have this venue for 4pm and your wife is there why can't my decorator start decorating??? I'm even more pissed at this point. So now back to me trying to get to venue while being pregnant ( I'm not going to drive crazy) so when I realized that I'm not going the right way I changed the gps and it told me my new eta was 4:39 . He proceeded to text me again asking my eta I said I'm 9 minutes away, he responded "You said your eta was 4:21 at 4:16pm" like dude why are you time stamping me . He called me and saying oh his wife has to go and she's upset etc etc . I responded to him letting him about the gps issue . My brother arrive at the venue and he called me stating the lady was waiting for me , at this point I'm beyond frustrated because again nobody told me that I need to be there at 4pm to received rules for the 3rd time so why am I being rushed. At this point I'm thinking maybe these rules are like new or something they way they are pressing me . So I texted the guy and was like my brother is there , can she just tell me the rules . Immediately my brother called me and said the wife left and she gave him a set of rules and as he is telling me the rules I'm like this is the same rules I read and sign in the contract and the same rules I was told when I paid the last payment at the venue. The guy then text me again " She left, let me know when you arrive so we can go over the rules and everything ". Rules again??? Your wife just told my brother the rules . At this point I didn't even want to have my baby shower anymore cause the amount of stress this owner has been giving me about rules that I already signed in a contract. I called the guy and it was the same exact rules that his wife told my brother , the rules in the contract , and the rules he told me when I paid the balance that was due . There was also added new rule the day off the event that " the applicant must stay back to do a walkthrough of the place after the party" All my years of renting venue I never heard this bs . Venues walk through on their own and let the renter know if everything was intact and if they will be receiving their deposit. I was supposed to get extra table cloths and didn't get it and instead of taking accountability about it he said oh we never had this conversation etc etc and that they wasn't going to give one anyways cause you never put table cloths on food table which is a lie cause this isn't my first rodeo. So I replied to the message where he stated he will give me table cloths and his response to that was "if you were there on time, once you tell me it was missing, I would have had my wife cover them for you right away" . Again you never stated and told me " hey my wife will be there at 4 or you need to be there at 4 to go over some rules . At this point this is so unprofessional. Fast forward to the night we asked for an extra hr (from 12am to now 1am ) he said okay. read more

This place is just ok. I dont think they put too much care for your event. They decorated the centerpieces on our event very careless, they were not the same since they wanted to save money on cheap flowers. They put a few big centerpieces and the rest was smaller. This place needs to be updated. Especially the restrooms. Everything looks old. They dont even have a place where the host can put their important stuff in. The lady helped us was friendly. Hope they will change and upgrade their business, not just taking the money and not investing it back to make it better or at least to maintain it. read more

I would have to agree with the first reviewer that commented on this company, because we co planned the event together. No need for me to echo what was previously said, but I think it's important to respond to the reply the company made. Particularly the reference to the Bride and Groom staying after their ceremony to assist with cleaning up. I've never heard such a thing EVER! Should not have been allowed in my opinion. The fact that this company received a tip was because of everything that went on without the knowledge of the happy couple. Hoping this review will help assist future customers before booking, but ultimately to bring awareness to the company to make some changes in operations and customer service. read more

I used the Sunrise location for my mom's 80th Birthday, and I was extremely impressed. Curb appeal could use some adjustments, however, this is located in a Strip mall. But, once inside, you get the WOW, factor! its Beautiful, and nicely decorated. Everyone was impressed! Regine and her team did an amazing job, the decorations were beautiful, nice fresh flowers in the centerpieces. You get the wow factor once inside. I was well pleased with everything! If I could put a negative star, I would do just that... I helped orchestrate my friends wedding and put in alot of hard work only for the banquet hall go take credit for such work. Once you think the banquet hall fees are awesome, well it is a rip off... I know personally that my friend paid ALOT of money!!! The flowers were half dead, the linens had holes, some of the charger plates were cracked and to top it off... the food at the sit down dinner was all served on disposable dishes, off not to mention the plastic utensils... I am extremely happy that my friend who had just gotten married did not notice all of these things, I would have hated for it to ruin her big day... but I felt that someone needed to tell it like it was...
