I was scrolling through Facebook last week and Elements came up on my feed. I almost kept scrolling because I have had a recent horrendous eperince at a nearby massage memership facility. I really did not want to get back into one nor deal with any of it. I decided to take a look and I was easily intrigued when I saw a familiar therapist. I was so excited and hurry up and booked. Upon walking in today I was greeted and welcomed. The facility is clean, open, quiet, and calm. The staff was great. Raymond was my therapist and I cannot say enough good things about him if you are looking for a deep tissue massage. I decided to add on the Eucalyptus aromatherapy, it was a gloomy day and I am a sucker for Eucalyptus. I am glad I chose that as an add on, it was perfect. The massage room was open, comfortable, and so relaxing. The massage table was so cozy, plus, big, and warm. It really felt like a spa in there. I loved the lighting, the sounds, and just the all around small touches that made everything so relaxing and calm. I am excited to try the other enhancements they have to offer as well as other treatments. They have some great deals if you decide to become a member and I appreciate the discounted pricing it has to offer. It's even better that you are not binded into a contract. I saw Dori had appointments available Friday and even had evening appointments! I read great things about her so I went ahead and booked an hour massage. I am so glad I did! Dori was so amazing! She was so nice and accommodating. She listened to my concerns and used the greatest amount of pressure to release the tension and knots out of my neck and shoulders. That hour went by so quick! I did add on the peppermint scalp massage! Don't sleep on that! If you are looking for a massage therapist, I highly recommend Dori! I am already ready to book my next appointment. I immediately had relief after my massage and had better range of motion in my neck. The range of motion felt amazing and even lead to my neck releasing and popping several times on it's own. The therapists were 20 mins late to the appointment, and I was on a tight schedule that day with all the activities I had planned, so this was not acceptable. Instead of having two females I got a male and a female. And there was no way my mom was going to allow a male touch her and I didn't want another massage from him since my last one was horrible. She charged me for both appointments even though i specifically requested two females and my moms massage was only about 30mins and it should have been an hour. Bolster your business and your reviews with great customer service; don't try to bury poor (and honest!) reviews by trying to cheat the Yelp system. While I was able to adjust the stretch time, I was still charged 50% for the massage even though I wasn't canceling, just requesting to move it. The stretch itself was amazing and the therapist was kind and professional. But the lack of flexibility and empathy from the front desk left a bad taste. Emergencies happen, and when you're paying top dollar, better customer service should be a given.
