They have a small retail space in the lobby along with complimentary tea. I got a full tour of the facility and what was included in my sauna experience. You get a cool wet towel infused with peppermint oil, extra wash cloths, a wrap, a robe, water, and access to Netflix or Spotify that you can hear in the sauna. You can also control the lighting. It was such a luxurious relaxing experience, and really helped me clear my mind. I will certainly be back!

This was not a massage but just an infrared sauna and float session--booked specifically with Jessica--and did not require extensive hands-on staffing. Apparently, there is no backup plan to keep the business operating if someone calls in sick. I scheduled the package two weeks in advance. When booking, we spent 30 minutes completing forms and releases. Jessica offered another day for an appointment, but I explained I was traveling and leaving in two days with an already full schedule. She reiterated that she could not keep the appointment because someone had called in sick. Since she was the person assigned, it felt strange that she needed to cancel because of someone else's schedule and it seemed more like she might just not want to work that day. She was not apologetic and basically said I should understand. As a business owner myself, I find last-minute cancellations without contingency planning EXTREMELY unprofessional--especially for clients who have booked well in advance. As mentioned, there was little acknowledgment of the inconvenience or disappointment caused. We were genuinely looking forward to this experience and were let down by how it was handled. We do not recommend Ascend Wellness based on this experience.

The system was so glitchy it took me nearly half an hour and multiple attempts just to complete the process. I never received a confirmation email, and it turned out my booking wasn't even properly secured. You can actually add a cold plunge to your cart and pay without scheduling it--which is exactly what happened. By the time I realized, I was already at the payment screen and had been charged. After that, I had to log in again, sign my name five times (for a cold plunge?), and finally schedule the appointment. The next day, I received a call saying the cold plunge wasn't available, so I agreed to switch to cryotherapy. When I showed up--after driving around a bit because the GPS location was off and it's hard to find as a first-time customer--the building was completely closed. I arrived a bit early, waited outside for five minutes, and then left. I texted the representative, but despite having confirmed the appointment over the phone, they refused to refund me and claimed I was a no-show. Overall, a frustrating experience with poor customer service. Definitely won't be returning--and honestly, if they had refunded me, I probably would have.

Not just a sauna and cold plunge. While it does have the…read moresame physical benefits, this place took it so much further to the emotional, I dare say spiritual. You can do different sessions, lead or open. I did a lead session with Monika. After setting an intention, she took us through 2 rounds of 10 minute sauna, then 2 minute cold plunge. A dry 210, it was hot. We were taken through 3 rounds of breathing sessions, starting slow then fast. A great time to let all your anxiety and stress pour out of your body. After a quick rinse, we lowered into ice cold water. Long, slow breathes to help your body relax and recover. Don't forget to give that scream release! After the 2 round of sauna/ plunge, Monika took us back into the sauna for one last session. 3 different rounds of scented water were poured on the hot stones while Monika used a towel to deliver heat bombs that'll definitely wake you up! The towel show alone was worth price of admission. I came with anxiety from the work week and having to sit through Mt P traffic and left with a sense of calm and purpose. I went to Mindzero for the first time for a friend's birthday, and it was Amazing! We were led by David, and Started the session laying on heated mats in a dark room. This was a great way to begin relaxing. Then, David told us what to expect, which was a 10 minute sauna session (200 degrees), then a 2 minute cold plunge, then another sauna session, the second cold plunge, and finally the last sauna session. While in the first sauna session, we talked about gratitude and people were welcome to share things they were grateful for. Before the session, my legs and back were sore. My body felt much better after the session. I left feeling relaxed, and my body felt amazing. It was also a community vibe, as we shared things we're grateful for together in the sauna, held hands in the cold pool together, laughing and even crying together. I can't wait to go back!
