Great little 9 hole golf course! It's not the best but the price makes it worth it, Suggest going past 4 for twilight prices as well!

It also happened to be half off a bottle of wine because it was Wednesday. They brought us the wrong bottle, but it was really good so no harm done. The prices really weren't bad either. Highly recommend!

In all over a dozen positive experiences. I am not a member of this club, so I cannot speak to golf, or tennis. The location of the country club is off Pacific around 40th. You will have to pay attention as the building sits well off the road. The majority of parking is in front with a pull up cover to building. There is also parking in the rear and side. All the lots are in fantastic condition and only minimal debris noted where I parked in the back. The club is modern in its architecture exterior. Tan color on wood runs all around the property including the pool house. The interior is nicely appointed with carpeting and white moldings. Their are two sets of restrooms for both men and women. The men's room on the North had tile floor and marble counter tops. Proper supplies were in the lavatory and the imprinted PACC paper towels a cool touch. One of the four sinks had a steady drip that I reported. Tonight they shined feeding over 500 attendees of Tide Swimming in a buffet in less than 30 minutes. The two line system worked efficiently and staff was every where to assist. The person in charge Steven L. did a wonderful job supervising. The food was bread, salad, two types of pasta, chicken and pizza. Nothing overly taxing but they did it great! Everything was served hot and delicious. Cookie plates were placed on the table. Staff cleared promptly. In order to spare a higher number of staff drinks were self serve. Disappointing however that everything was styrofoam. The bartender at the cash bar was friendly and this set up worked well, however a second bartender would have been great to reduce lines. The selection of beer was weak for someone who enjoys craft beer. My jack and coke was made correct. I will touch on the pool since this is the reason I most often attend. The swimming pool is a 5 lane with a diving well that has two one meter boards. The deck is great size and maintained well. Patio furniture is nice. Their are areas to get drinks off the deck and inside. The locker rooms are modern and great shape. There is a workout facility that is also housed in this large building off the pool that I have never used. If I was looking to join a country club in VB I would consider PACC. I have been impressed with both the facility and staff on numerous occasions.

River Course at Kingsmill…read more On a gorgeous autumn day, we enjoyed a round of golf at the course. Upon arrival, the bag drop area was available to leave our bags. The staff members helped us get our bags secured onto the golf carts. There is a small cooler on the golf cart. After checking in at the pro shop, we found the scorecards by the door. The pro shop had a great selection of golf goodies and I was eager to purchase some items with the Kingsmill logo. We had a wonderful time playing golf at the club during our recent visit. We played the River Course, which is known to host some of the most prestigious PGA and LPGA tournaments. The course is in excellent shape, with beautifully maintained greens and various obstacles that made our game more fun and challenging. Although the James River views are not visible until the last three holes, it was still an excellent way to wrap up our 18-hole round. Two restrooms are located along the course, and the access code is provided at the first hole. Don't forget to jot it down on your scorecard or take a quick snap in case the doors are locked. A beverage cart drove through a couple times to serve refreshing drinks throughout the course to keep us hydrated. A tip: for the par 3's, go left! The staff at the club was exceptionally friendly and supportive, making our experience even more enjoyable. We're already looking forward to our next visit to the town and playing golf at the club again.

We used Golf Zoo and they should have informed us. The course might be in better condition in the next few months. It was challenging and fun. Fun finishing hole. I felt who I presume was the manager did a good job at organizing and she was dressed impeccably on top of that. The food was simply okay. They truly need to work on temperature control as nothing was actually hot and honestly barely warm. The second issue was the entrance to the buffet is a BIG choke point. Visibility is impossible to see people starting to coming out and it does not flow smoothly. If their intention is to keep the buffet there they really need to wide the entrance significantly to more than a doorway. They offered a flower at the close of the meal which was a lovely gesture. The staff would receive 4.5 stars. Food-2.5. Function of the buffet-2

9.24.25 Update My wife and I slept very well last night --…read morethe bed was very comfortable. We made bacon, eggs, and coffee in the morning (I forgot the bread at home, so no toast this trip). After breakfast, we enjoyed some time on the patio before heading out for a walk. We stopped by the pool area at the main building. Staff told us that the pools are heated at the main building, we were surprised to learn the pool we loved on previous visits (with the great kids' area) is no longer heated. That was disappointing since we really enjoyed it before. I tested the main pool water -- it was cold, and even the indoor pool was chilly. It showed in the turnout too: only one person in the outdoor pool and nobody in the indoor pool, compared to how busy the other heated pool used to be. It's surprising that Marriott wouldn't keep the pools consistently warm, especially when guests clearly used them more when heated. I guess we'll have to see about going somewhere else. We'll see what happens tomorrow with our presentation -- though it still feels strange to have to sit through one when we paid for this package.
