I travel non-stop for business and was a little nervous about spending a few months working in North Florida, not knowing if they would have first class services you expect to find in big cities. After trying out two other spray tan companies (most of the them are more "mom and pop" type operations), this was, by far, THE BEST place I've been to for spray tanning -- in Jacksonville -- and in many other large cities. They will come to you, or you can visit their location on third street. Adorable, professional, little spray salon. Spray tanning is all they do and they really do it well. After disappointing experiences with the two others in town, I phoned this company and spoke with Nicole. She was able to accommodate my time request, made sure I knew all the things to do before spray tanning and even asked if I would like a text message reminder. My first visit to the salon, Nicole made me feel so welcome and at ease. She could not have made me feel more comfortable. (Something that is very important when you are undressed in front of someone for a spray tan.) I was surprised to see they had a state of the art fan/backdrop in the room that immediately filtered out any solution in the air. Their solution smells like cherry and almonds and does not turn you orange or any other "fake" color. Nicole made sure I had plenty of time to dry before leaving and again went over what to do to preserve my tan. She was just terrific. Very professional and patient and a true "artist" with the air brushing. I've paid up to $100 for a spray tan in a five-star resort spa. This was every bit as good, for half the price (which even included the tip!). Mobile visits are a little more, but well worth it. I enjoyed leaving the hotel to go their salon and I was even able to have my hair washed and styled at the salon next to them. Plenty of parking, easy to find and a superior spray tan. I was hoping to see Nicole more while in town, but the tan lasted so long, I only went in twice. Next time I find myself in Jacksonville, I will definitely visit Glow On The Go again. I understand they have a storefront in my hometown of Los Angeles and I'm looking forward to trying out that location next! read more

This place is great! Outstanding customer service with the woman that runs it who is also a personal friend of mine. I have sent in numerous friends and coworkers - not only because of my personal relationship but also due to how awesome the product is! I forfeited my old package with previous place because of how much I love the color. No orange at all and I felt so comfortable with how clean and professional the establishment is. Don't be tricked in to spending the same amount of money if not more by going in to someone's home. A well spent $40 for a standard session and it INCLUDES protective feet bottom covers, optional filtered nose plugs, disposable panties, clean bathroom and towels with make up remover on hand, amazing filtration unit to purify air during session - private sessions. I mean NOONE else I've ever been to includes all of these optional items with that price! And the packages they offer can save you up to $180!! Basically breaking down each session as low as $25 per tan. Yes I'm bias because this is a friend but there is no comparison to any other place in town. One lady charges $60 for a session in her house and doesn't provide any optional protective items. That's insane! Glow on the go also offers anti aging soliton and toner as enhancers. I'm hooked for life and hope everyone else will try it out just once so they can come to know what's best. Stop wasting your money on the copy cats in town that charge way too much. You get what you pay for at Glow On The Go and then some! Please check this place out for all you spray tanners out there! You won't be disappointed. :) read more

This is the nicest spray tanning studio I have seen. I travel a lot and have seen many, both here and in other cities. It is the cleanest and most professional. There is no spray in the air, it is very well ventilated. They have a nicer system than the others, instead of standing in a tent, there is a panel with a built in fan that you stand in front of. It is so much cleaner than the tents and it takes the spray away, so it is not in the air. In addition, the technician, Nicole, was wonderful. She was more thorough than anyone that has sprayed me. She takes the time to explain everything very well and she takes the time to do a good spray job. The tan was fabulous, very real looking. And I love it that I was dark right away. Also it looked very nice after the first shower and lasted a long time. This is definitely the best place around and worth every penny! She offered a package deal and I believe the prices are a little less than some, certainly not more expensive...but a much better spray tan and a much better overall experience than anywhere else. This place was a pleasant surprise! I wish I would of found out about them sooner. I have been trying different spray tanners around town and this one is really good. The environment is great...very clean office & studio area for spaying. Its very well ventilated, the set up is better than any I've seen. You don't stand in a tent, there is a fan system that takes in all the spray so you are not standing in a fog and you don't breath it in. The girl that sprays was great. Seemed to really know what she was doing, knew all about the solution and took her time. She made sure that she did it right and didnt try to rush me out. She appeared to be very experienced. And I loved the tan! The tan was visible right away, which I think is awesome! After the first shower it was a little lighter but still a lot of color. They offered to apply a toner first and they have an anti-aging solution that is good for the skin. All in all I was very satisfied and will go again! read more

So glad this studio was affiliated with Jacksonville Fashion Week! As one of the models for the show, I have been extremely busy preparing but Glow on the Go helped ease the stress.... Not only were they very accommodating to my last minute scheduling but the spray tech, Nicole, was the most personable and professional person I have met in this business. Prior to this I had only been to one other place in Jacksonville and it was a nightmare!! They use a very similar name, I assume to try and confuse people, because they are complete opposites. Glow on the Go is such a cute, comfortable studio with all the essentials and then some. The tan is absolutely perfect and I cannot wait to go back! I can't say enough about how impressed I am, but I will tell you to be very carefull to not be fooled by imposters!!! Wonderful, clean, & professional tanning studio! I have been to many spray tanning studios and some where people do it out of their own home (so awkward & scary!) and nothing compares to Glow on the Go! Nicole does a wonderful job informing you all that you need to know before your spray and is very knowledgeable about her products. She also makes you feel at ease when you are there. The solution they use is fantastic! It does not make you look orange at all and it lasts for a good week! I've been to many other spray tan places and the solution at Glow on the Go is the best I've seen so far. And the pricing is reasonable too! If you go a lot like I do, you can buy packages that will knock off as much as $10 a session! I have had spray tans all over the country and I can tell you that my spray tan from Glow On the Go was the best I have ever had! The whole process was perfect! Nicole is very knowledgable and makes you feel very comfortable, which is important considering you are about to take your clothes off in front of her. The whole process was seamless and took very little time out of my day. Nicole was also very flexible with my schedule. as for the tan itself, it was gorgeous! I had so many compliments. Glow on the Go was my first experience with a spray tan and I am in love! I have been back three times since and don't plan to go anywhere else. The products are top notch and the staff is extremely professional, fun and makes you feel comfortable, which is really important. My tan typically lasts 10 days + even though they say 7-10 is average. It always fades naturally and never looks fake.
