The lay down bed I was in was OLD, I mean... so old. And it's one of those beds that people buy for their personal beds at home (really small and inexpensive). The plexiglass you lay on was cracked, the stickers on the outside were yellowed and peeling off. You could just tell they've had them for a LONG time. I don't even think it's worth $25/month! I decided to just tan for 10 mins since it's been a while since I've tanned. Once I got my lotion on and jumped in, I didn't even hear 2 full songs on the radio, didn't break a sweat, and I was done. I don't think the girl set it for very much time ahead of that, even though she insisted it probably just felt like it went fast. This "salon" also has a small nail tech station, and then two shelving units that has odds and ends for sale I guess. Very run down. I thought it would be so convenient since it's close to my house, but I would much rather drive a few more minutes to River City. As an update, I was talking to my friend about this place and she said she used to go there, in the early 90's, if that tells you anything at all. They had the same beds. Even the posters and everything inside were old. It seems like they haven't done ANY kind of updating.

They have a beautiful waiting area for the time between services that feels warm, inviting, peaceful, and comfortable. Shortly after, you will be greeted by your certified masseuse. Today I had Mandy. After a quick survey about pressure, spots of tension and any "no go" areas, the massage started. I purchased an hour, you can also do 90 minutes, add salt, hot rocks etc. after the hour, i was just numb, refreshed, reinvigorated. Just an awesome experience. I received a gift card and used it. Michelle in the front was super accommodating and said she would go see if our room was ready. Our room was ready so she said we could go in there and sit down and relax and enjoy our tea and goodies. I loved everything about this place from the vibe to the tea and desserts and friendliness of staff. If you make a 5 o'clock appointment, your massage doesn't start till 515 and it ends at 6:15 because they allow you 15 minutes to wind down and enjoy some tea They have monthly memberships and their prices are extremely fair I was supposed to have one girl give me a massage, but she had to leave early with an emergency and they gave me somebody else. The vibe, feel, idea, decor and staff friendliness would all be a five star rating. My husband says his massage was five stars. However, my massage was a one star. She pulled on my toes and my fingers and that was not pleasant, she massaged my scalp so hard that I got an Indian burn on my head from my hair and her fingers. She forgot my name, and I really just did not enjoy my massage. I really wanted to love this place as we were looking for a new place to do memberships. Unfortunately, we are doing our memberships for the next six months at another spa. Perhaps we might come back and give this place another try after our six month membership is up at the other place and I would request a different therapist.
