Stylist - Melina H. 10/10 recommend! Melina is very attentive to my ideas and made it happened! She knows what she's doing. I asked for face framing pieces, layers to add more volume, and try to keep the length as much as possible. With my hair length (by chest) the cut starts out at $55. The cut comes with a hair wash and styling after. The entire salon has several stylists that you can ask for. Also plenty of parking out front. read more

This salon SUCKS. Whoever the stylist Pahlor or whatever her name is had me waiting for 40 minutes before I ultimately left. This would have been my first experience with her. After I checked-in upon arrival I was told it would be a 15-minute wait as she was running behind. Fine, no problem. Not once did she or any other employee come by to say it would take longer. Absolutely unacceptable service. Not worth your time or money. Birds of a feather flock together, she has affected every other stylist reputation in that salon for her ignorance. read more

Maria has been cutting my son's hair for over three years now and she's still so amazing and patient with my squirmy kiddo. She gives him lollipops and works around me having to hold up my phone so he can watch a show. The clippers still scare him a bit so we work on distracting him. read more

Very cute and classy salon! I had extensions put in one week ago back home in LA and needed to have them more styled and blended. While Visiting family here this salon was recommended to me because they specialize in extensions. Harley did a great job on my hair and did exactly what I wanted! I called Glow last Friday (9/28) and spoke with someone I assume managed the front desk. I told her I would like to get a haircut and color blending scheduled. She asked me with which stylist and I told her I am new to the area and have no idea, I would like someone that does men's cuts. Then she tells me that she would have someone contact me because all the stylist's set up their own appointments. (What is the point of having someone work a front desk if they are not helping schedule clients?) Anyway, here it is Wednesday (10/2) and I never heard a word from anyone. I guess they just don't need or want new business which is kind of a common theme with services here in Midland. read more

The staff is very very nice. They have great products and the place is clean, but could use a revamp on the facility/cabinets/mirrors/desks for newer/nicer stuff. I enjoyed coming here before because of the low cost but now that prices have increased I'm not so sure. Requested a toner and it was denied so now I am going someplace else and paying more to correct the warm color. 3/5 overall read more

Their yelp picture shows they have a pedicure area. I called and the lady apologetically said they don't do pedicures. This salon looked so nice, I was excited to go. There goes that. I wish they wouldn't false advertise to get people to go in. I'm glad I called ahead instead of wasting gas. read more

I had been all over Midland trying to find someone to put my extensions back in when I found Misty. I got in pretty quickly, and dropped off the extensions the day before because she offered to clean them and put the tapes on for me. I try to save money by doing that myself, but she offered to do it as part of the service. She did an excellent job and I see her once a week for a wash and style. read more

Lovely place and a lot of stylist, and from the looks of them all very busy, BUT do your homework make sure the one you choose is a fit for you and your needs. I have low and high lights and have been told several times what a great color I had, many wanting to know who did it . With my stylist being on maternity leave I needed my roots, only my roots done. I called and tried to get in with 2 stylist that I knew, both were full.I had a party that night and a graduation that weekend. I was on a very tight schedule. So I took a stylist I knew nothing about. I had a sick feeling when I saw her and almost made up something and left, but that seemed rude. We went to her station. I told her I just wanted roots, which I have done all the time, she said she could do that then started putting stuff all over my head and telling her co-worker that this was a complete correction, he had came over and started telling her about his client that just left. She told me the girl that took my call should've gotten more details. To make a long story short, my scalp was burned with product and I have sores on the top of my head, and my hair was orange. She put several different products on it and finally got it so it didn't look like a prison jump suit, then came the blow out WOW, I have very long hair, which I normally have round brushed , she round brushed my hair with a 1" round brush, I haven't seen since I wore wings in the 80's and left it wet in back. my hair kept getting tangled up. It hurt so badly. I was in tears. When I walked in I had beautiful soft hair no damage. I had never used peroxide, which I told her. Now my hair is all damaged, my scalp has open sores from product . She was very nervous, she smacked her gum the entire time slung product everywhere, It even got on my shirt under the cape, at the shampoo bowl she drowned me. She was very worried about something, just not my hair. I blame this on myself I didn't do my homework. She was nice enough, I just felt like what I wanted was out of her ream of expertise, just not a fit for me. I like positive, upbeat people. Like I said at beginning they have a lot of stylist, GO, ENJOY, just make sure you get someone that understands what you want with your hair. read more

I had read some pretty decent reviews about this salon so I booked, yes BOOKED, an appointment with Adam. This was today so I get there at my SCHEDULED time- 1:00 and proceed to sit and wait. He's cutting an older woman's hair, then dilly dallies around once done. I'm sitting there, it now 1:16 a little confused as to why he's taking his sweet time when my appointment was at 1:00. He then goes to the back, comes back, walks around then asks me if I'm Angela. Nope, not Angela. So he goes and talks to the girl at the front and I hear her say yes she asked him if he was open and I was an appointment for 1:00. While this is going on, I'm guessing "Angela" walks in and sits down. He comes up to us and instead of assisting ME who's been there since 12:55 for her 1:00 appointment tells me he's going to cut her hair then help me. I had to find a sitter for my 5 month old son to have this appointment and it's already 1:28, no I'm not waiting. How absolutely unprofessional of a person in the service business. I DO NOT recommend this salon and specifically Adam. You'd think being a 40+ year old hair dresser you'd know how to keep and schedule appointments. Poor thing. read more
