Like my Tampa orthodontist (Dr Toro Florida friends) was family and it was heartbreaking to leave. They didn't yell at me when I broke my braces on Doritos. So I'm here in Michigan currently eating Doritos because you guys. I found my new orthodontist! Okay I'm not eating Doritos yet. I had my initial consultation an hour ago. I had to transfer services here from Tampa. So I saw the lady Glupker. I think Leslie. She was super nice, explained my transfer and gave me an estimate of treatment time. I was expecting maybe four months. It's going to be more like seven. I don't care. I was done paying my orthodontist in Tampa off. I now owe 30% down plus my monthly payment of 135. They did not do a credit check. Some other payment plans may be different but they seem pretty flexible. They do not take care credit. The office staff was SUPER friendly. They seem flexible on hours. I'm excited to start my treatment and will update accordingly.

From the moment we walked into her office for our first visit today, our expectations were not only met but far exceeded. Dr. Mailloux took the time to address long-standing concerns we've had with our youngest son's tongue tie--something we've struggled to get a resolution to over the years. She explained how the tongue tie may be impacting his speech and may even be contributing to crowding in his teeth. Not only did she take the time to thoroughly explain these connections, but she also provided us with a referral to a speech therapist who can help strengthen his tongue muscle and work on mouth motor skills. She even gave us practical tips for at-home exercises, including the use of a particular straw to support tongue strengthening. After years of feeling unheard by other professionals, it was such a relief to finally have someone who understood and provided real answers. She also went above and beyond in discussing how our older son's mouth breathing could be directly linked to his sleep issues and even his ADHD.
