They are a marketplace for local business owners (which I love) and a gallery for local artists to display their art and crafts. I enjoyed seeing the eclectic mix of handmade items like wreaths, painted wine glasses, jewelry, antiques, and new items made by people in our community. They even offer crafting workshops and other interesting classes and events that I haven't attended yet, but I am looking forward to participating in those now that I am familiar with what they do. The people there were very welcoming and friendly to me, my mom, and my husband. This is a great place to visit and shop if shopping local is important to you like it is to me, and if you appreciate hand made items and arts/crafts. I'm definitely going back!

My son and daughter always "hint" at how much they would like certain things. It also features a well curated selection of adult books including the most recent releases on Reese's Book Club (that is why it is dangerous for my wife). During my last visit, I found the staff particularly helpful. My wife had sent me the cover of two books she wanted. No explanation about genre. I took the covers to one of the employees and she looked them up and had them in my hands in less than five minutes. Price wise I would say Snug Books fits in with the other independent book stores in Baltimore. Ultimately you will pay more than Amazon but, in my humble opinion, the benefits of buying local are worth the extra bucks. Oh, almost forgot. Why is Snug Books dangerous for me?
