I try my best to go to this Walmart at least 2 times a year. I'd rather pay a toll to go to a better Walmart store. Every time I go to checkout my items I am always reminded of how divided America is. They don't sell much merchandise here. The workers are weird and portray a bad character. I always have to brace myself before going into the self checkout aisle. I always have a bad feeling whenever I enter this store. I've never had a good costumer experience here. read more

Always mixed experiences with this Walmart, with most of my current trips just being bad, but recently just having a lot of issues with their pickup option. I did a pickup order and was called over 20 minutes into my waiting to be informed they couldn't bring it out to me due to the thunder and lightening and, if I wanted it, I would have to go to customer service. Regardless, if that's policy then that's fine and I get it. Was frustrated I had been sitting for so long before they called, but okay. I told them I'd have to go home because I couldn't go in at the moment, and went home. Checked my order when I was able to leave, had a ton of rain suddenly hit my home and I couldn't safely drive, expecting it to be canceled but it apparently had been "picked up". No one I knew went to get it, my husband was home with me, meaning they had to override their system to either keep it or give it to some random person. They also regularly give me moldy produce. Employees inside at the registers are also regularly bad mouthing other employees. Overall, I would just avoid this Walmart and go to another. read more

Walmart, Aberdeen, Maryland -- I am very concerned about what I observed while at Walmart on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at about 5:00 p.m. While waiting in line to purchase my items, I was looking around. What I saw was disturbing. I am a white woman living in Harford County, Maryland, where the store is located. I saw an older white woman employee at the exit on the grocery side acting strangely. Specifically, I observed the woman approaching black customers and overly scrutinizing their receipts, but did not do the same to people of my race. The employee would violate the black customers' personal space and go through their baskets as if they were stealing something; the behavior was apparent. This continued over and over. When I exited, the same employee gave my receipt a cursory review and waved me on. With all of the tensions going on, blatant racism only causes more division and makes things worse. Walmart should be ashamed of itself for contributing to societal problems. If people do not stand up to wrongdoing and evil, nothing will change. read more

This is just another run in the mill Walmart. I was excited for the fact they were normally stocked with items in each department, but the more I go the less they seem to have. When I ask about certain things they give a generic answer. How I know it's just a random answer is because I keep going back and again they don't have the product. Be careful when you call and ask if they have the product because I have been told they had it and they truly didn't so I contacted the manager because that wasn't right and was a waste of gas. So with all that being said yes they do have basic stuff normally, meaning eggs milk and water it seems. Beware of their fruit, I bought strawberries from them and with in two days they had mold growing. If you are one that likes to cook with cilantro or a fresh spice you may not find it due to them randomly running out and not getting the products for a good amount of time. I do continue to go to this location due to it being close to other activities that I have to take care of but I would love if they would handle their products better. I first shopped here over 25 years ago, and I still go here whenever I'm in Harford County. I think they're the only Walmart in the area that still has fabric, although the selection gets smaller and smaller. Two days ago, I quickly found the fabric I wanted, but had trouble finding someone to cut it. The grocery section had a lot of empty spaces on the shelves, and I wasn't able to find everything on my list. When I do find an associate, they're usually friendly and helpful. I would rate a negative-10 if I could. OTR truck driver just needed some essential items. Security screaming at me in parking lot, followed me around store and then came out and told my boyfriend we had to leave and couldn't come back we are trespassing. And he would call cops if not off property in 2 minutes. I was in the store shopping left my cart full of groceries and other essential items for them to be kicked out . Was at the self checkout today, after I had payed and bagged my own groceries...associate Nola standing there on her cell phone, not doing anything, chose to come to my transaction and press the 5stars key, saying that I had to do it faster...told her why did she took it upon herself to complete my transaction, when I wasn't finished.,,she didn't do anything for anyone, she just stood there on her cell phone, I didn't asked for her help or give her any comments in doing so, yet she stands there and gave me an attitude like it was her job to do so..,,,you want customer satisfaction, then have these people interact with their customers, instead of just stand there, to watch every customer is doing....it seems like ur employees don't care about customer satisfaction and loyalty....sad read more

So how did this Walmart have EVERYTHING? It is really true! The farther you drive the better selections you will find? I actually enjoyed this Walmart so much I think I was here for more than three hours. I was just amazed about how much stuff they had and how we get cheated in the Baltimore stores. They had all the sizes and full of inventory! My son is in the Black Excellence program at his school. He has to dress up every Tuesday so I like to go to Walmart to buy his button down shirts and ties and there has been plenty of times that I was unable to buy anything. Not a fan of this Walmart. It's woefully under stocked whenever I happen to go in. I've been here 6mths and whether I go at lunch, after work, midnite, or 3a. It seems the shelves are always half empty of items I need. Perhaps it's me If you go in after midnite there are more workers stocking than they probably need. But if you go in the day. There's hardly anyone around to answer questions. It seems a lot of people shop late late nite, yet they will only have a single registered open (surely a few stockers can be trained on the register when the line is 7-10 deep at 2am)! This is frustrating. And I've left several times after standing in one spot for what seemed like forever trying to purchase Tylenol for a late nite headache! I've quit buying the fruit ; it's always bad after 1d. Looks good in the bin. Not so much after you get it home andbite (pear/orange/apples/cherries) Raspberries didn't last 36hrs! I have seen a definite decline with quality service or available services in general. I recently went to Walmart with the intention of purchasing a whole cooked chicken to find out that the Deli section has discontinued the cooked food selections and three days later I went to the deli section at 4:45 PM Thursday 17 June 21 To purchase cold cuts, to find out the entire deli is closed. When asked why is the fast food section closed, I was told that it was a management decision. The second time I asked the employee at the deli section, I was told we do no not have a closer. My apologists in advance but if you are having problems managing your departments and or personnel maybe management is not for you. I pride myself with leadership in all I do and if I have a schedule conflict I will step in and do the job myself because the working constomer should not pay the cost of poor management. I hope some one hears my voice and takes action. If I could leave a -5 stars I would for the optical department. The optometrist is very arrogant and he rushes you out of there so fast. My husband was literally in the exam chair 2 minutes. The prescription he gave him was so bad we ended up paying for another exam and another pair of glasses elsewhere because they didn't allow us to return them. So we are out $150 and when the new optometrist looked at his walmart glasses she even agreed the script was all wrong. Waste of time and money! I've only been in a couple other Walmarts, but this one always seems to be fairly well stocked. (Except for that time I needed my strawberry cream oatmeal and it wasn't there! :( ) They also sell guns and ammunition here, so that's a big plus for me! Since it is a Super Walmart, it's a nice one-stop-shop, however I try to go elsewhere for my meat and produce... for obvious reasons, but generally I just can't be bothered. Their produce is OK, but seems to spoil sooner than it should. The only gripe I have about the place is that they never have enough registers open. Come on. You're paying your people minimum wage; you can afford to have more than three registers open. A normal shopping run takes about an hour. It takes me about 30 minutes to grab what I need, and nearly 15-20 minutes waiting in the check-out line, and the rest of the time to get back home. Oh, last but not least, this Walmart has some of the funkiest looking customers and cashiers. There's one guy who has hair on the very front of his head and on the sides, but the rest is shaved. This walmart is pretty well stocked. I usually come in for food and sewing supplies. It has a food section which rivals the markets in the area. The crafts section is definitely not going to replace joann's or micheals, but is decent. The parking lot is wierdly arranged, maybe to maximize the amount of parking spaces but people have to cut through the spaces to get in and out of the marking lot which is a bit dangerous. read more

COVID 19 Potential hotbed!! shopping carts are left around the parking lot and around the doors for people to grab been taken, the ones that they get around to retrieving, receive a cursory spray of the line of them for Covid. Both hand sanitizer stations are empty. The sanitizing towels are all empty. Five different associates basically said we're out of stuff so..... I'm not sure who they hire to work the sales floor, but today I only wanted to find the Mainstay coffee table which online it said the store had four in stock. Unfortunately, they were not at the location labeled. I asked an employee working in the home department who said they must be out. No checking in the back or anything. He just made an assumption. I went to customer service, and the service manager paged another employee. I showed him the specific details from the Walmart app and he only said it must be wrong.
