There are a wide variety of shops run by the nicest, most down to earth people. Our favorite shop is The Local Beet, where they sell all products made and/or grown locally. The owners, Melissa and Kevin, are super knowledgeable about everything they sell, and are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Over the past 30 years , we've spent a lot of time in Kauai. My wife says that all her favorite local products are at Local Beet, and some products she's never seen. In addition, they don't raise the prices like some stores.
