First of all, I do not usually leave bad review for vendors. But this GMG company canceled the signed contract on us after having us wait for two months. The lady on the phone told us they could not honor the price for 38 per foot since the lumber price goes up dramatically. But this is a signed contract by both parties that they intentionally breach. The lady keeps emphasizing on the profitability after I say ""see you on Homestar". She never mention their credibility and reputation. This means that this company does not value their reputation. All they care is profit, which is very short sighted. On the contrast, after GMG breach the contract and refuse to do the fence for us( wasted us two months), my neighbors found Cando who honors their original price of 39 per foot, and we signed the new contract immediately. One day later, they are in my backyard doing the work!!!!! What a comparison between them! I am pretty sure the lumber problem is everywhere, but with Cando, they value their reputation and credibility over short term profitability. This is the company that we can trust, this is the company we want to sustain the business! GMG only cares about the money not their promise/reputation etc. This is the reason why I warn everyone, avoid this company. Plus, they are so unresponsive, I keep calling them for a week everyday and they are not picking up the phone,which is another evidence that they don't care about their customer whatsoever.
