I don't remember her name but she is an older woman who wears glasses. She has been very rude and dismissive with me both times. The first time she didn't even really acknowledge me and one she was done ringing everything up and I paid she just threw the receipt on the table for me to grab. That alone felt very unprofessional when that is really her only job to provide good customer service and ring customers up. This time I went today and she was checking me out. She said how are you and i said good how are you and she said nothing. She then started bagging up my fruit and when she handed me my first bag she said "here's your bag of a ton of fruit" in a sort of annoyed tone which I just laughed off. Then she started putting my stuff in a second bag which was like a pineapple and some soup and then dropped the grapes and the peaches from a height on top of everything almost throwing it in the bag which was pretty inconsiderate. The next part is why i'm the most upset about this experience, she dropped the bag from a height onto the table basically throwing it you could hear it drop loudly on the table. And then she didn't even give me the receipt once again she just left it on the table for me to grab. I haven't had any other problems with ANY of the workers they are usually very sweet but that woman is very rude and unprofessional so watch out for her especially if you're buying fruit!!!!

Just moved back to SC and was looking for a natural market with a mix of healthy options. I really…read moreenjoyed exploring Rosewood market, there was so much stuff that impressed me. It's such a cute shop located in downtown Columbia. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They have so many alternative food options and herbs to choose from. There was a wall of some of the best herbs out there and their vitamin/supplements section had so many different and rare options that you don't normally see in stores. They also sell local items which is always nice to see and a preference for me when shopping. There is also a hot food section with some really delicious options. Perfect for a quick lunch break. I tried the vegan meatballs which were made with pea protein and were so delicious. They had the perfect meatball texture, seasoned really well, and the sauce that came on it was so good. You also get 3 sides and a house-made sauce, so I choose spaghetti squash, potatoes, and broccoli with the spicy mayo sriracha as my sauce. All the sides had really light flavors in terms of seasoning, but were all still really good. The sauce was also really good. They really fill your plates up so you definitely get more bang for your buck. They provide an outside seating area as well as utensils so you can eat and enjoy your food. Don't skip the desserts by the deli, there were so delicious options that provided gluten free and some vegan treats. I also saw that they offer free yoga every Sunday at 2pm and Wednesdays at 6pm! I will definitely be by for yoga and back to shop more and try more of the deli meals!

I love Rosewood Market, and it's really a staple of the local community! I love shopping here due…read moreto the fact that the vast majority of items are locally and freshly made, making it easier to support state farmers and local businesses, and ensuring that your produce wasn't sitting in the back of a truck for weeks before you buy it. They also have a lot of niche items that you can't find at your big-box stores, making it great for specialty-product lovers (in my case, coffee!) like myself! My only gripe, and the reason for four (4) instead of five (5) stars, is that it's VERY expensive. Let me reiterate that I like to support local businesses, and I completely understand that items are not going to be quite as cheap as the major grocery chains; but, some of the products are so expensive that I can't justify spending that much money on them. As such, I can only go to Rosewood Market to buy an item or two, and can't shop there as much as I'd like to. Anyhow, I do love Rosewood Market, and would encourage everyone to at least stop in!

The service is above par, from checking in to the service at the table, very attentive and quick! The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is because the length of the menu, I was thinking more.....but honestly the choices they had will make me come back! I got the waygu burger and it was cooked PERFECTLY, seasoned amazing, the truffle fries were crispy and flavorful, the homemade ranch was some of the best I had, and I honestly loved their smoked ketchup! The place would be even better during the hot months due to their outside seating, so can't wait to try.

The food was pretty good overall, but my chicken salad sandwich was extremely disappointing. The croissant was very dry, and the shredded chicken combined with the consistency of the dressing was not at all what I expected. After only a couple bites, I left the entire sandwich untouched. What was even more disappointing was that when our waitress brought the bill, she clearly noticed I hadn't eaten the sandwich and chose not to ask about it. At this price point for lunch, I would have expected the situation to be handled a little differently. We sat in the covered outdoor area, which was nice, but there's also an uncovered outdoor section with older picnic tables that don't really match the vibe of a more upscale lunch spot. If you plan to sit outside, I'd recommend making your seating preference clear when booking.

Their facilities are clean and well organized, which makes it a pleasant shopping experience. They also have mini sections within the store that specializes in a certain area like a bakery, seafood, meats, deli, and even a small bar with an area to lounge out! Pretty awesome. Their customer service has always been top notch, super friendly attitude towards their shoppers. I personally enjoy their bakery goods; recommend the cinnamon buns. They usually have it for $7.99 and just pop it in the microwave for 20 seconds and it's so good! The one thing I'm not a fan of is their sushi selection. They got a small section of daily made sushi, but they can do better with the variety and selection choices. Overall, fun and thriving place to shop your groceries. Definitely will continue to do business here!

This is one of those full size stores cosplaying as a "little grocery in the middle of Appalachia". I was cross when my husband and I walked in. I don't like gimmicks. Give me a store with crisp, straight aisles and mind numbing florescent lighting. No frills! We just needed some decent coffee. I love my mother and father in law, but their coffee is clear enough to see through. I glanced around. Hmm. Lots of interesting little bottles of juice. That's kinda neat. Another glance. A beautiful display of flowers and square mylar balloons. I love square mylar balloons. Alright, okay. We ventured further. Huh. Coffee beans with the type and flavor handwritten on the bags. That's kind of endearing. A local shopper told us the "Bourbon Pecan Torte" flavor was her favorite. (She pronounced it PEE-can, which was a treat. If I had a penny for each time someone corrected me with pah-CAHN, I could summer in Newport.) We decided on the pecan and a second bag of eggnog flavor. We ground the beans in the store. How quaint! As we headed toward the dairy section, I noticed their meat and seafood looked rather nice. There were people making sausage. Actual, real, hand ground sausage in its own area. I refused to say it outloud, but in my head, I thought, "That's the way to do it." We moved on and retrieved a bottle of Stōk refrigerated coffee and a container of half & half. You can never have too much coffee. This place ain't so bad. It was when we were headed to the register that I accidentally let out a squeal. Displayed in all its glory was a tin of the Royal Dansk, limited edition, winter cookie collection...as rare as a Fabergé brooch. I walked into Lowes Foods with a chip on my shoulder. I left with a smile.
