The process itself is also all over the place. Sometimes associates ask what I'd like, other times I have to jump in and tell them. I recently found out sandwiches can be toasted--no one had ever mentioned that before. Some associates spread condiments, others don't. There's no standard, which makes the experience confusing every time I visit. Another issue is that no one wears a name badge, so there's no way to recognize or thank someone who does a good job--or even know who helped you. Pricing is probably the most frustrating part. The sign clearly says there's a $5.99 meal deal that includes chips and a drink, and that the sandwich alone is $4.99. However, every time I order, I'm either charged $5.99 just for the sandwich or $4.99 plus extra for chips and a drink. It never rings up the same way twice, and no one explains why.
