Spoke to the checkout leader and produce department and they could not understand what was actually supposed to be on sale. 15 minutes later they were able to try a salad kit and the discount applied to it. This does take grocery shopping to another level. And pretty slick, clean, huge with a great selection of everything, from beautiful orchids, to soaps, lotions, juices, coffee, great Easter desserts and treats, nice pastries. I enjoyed shopping here, got a certain brand of coffee I can find only at Whole Foods, regular items like orange juice and milk, and some pastries, went for guava ones and boy they were so good. went to the Whole Foods market this morning to get my favorite sour dough loaf. Nobody at the counter and the breads are now self serve. If you want to have it sliced you do it itself. You slice, put the sliced bread into plastic bags and print and attach the label. Also all sour dough breads are now boule (round). This is making sandwiches more difficult, then when they had uniform bread shape. So, with nobody there to help, I gave up on bread. However I purchased several items on sale for prime members and proceeded to the only manned checkout. There were three other customers in front of me, Each with full cart, but I waited my turn. By the time I went to pay, my prime member QR code on my iPhone was malfunctioning. I showed it to the cashier, she told me I need to log in. But I was logged in a minute ago! So frustrated and feeling left out......Gridding my teeth I paid full price, vowing to never come back. They have canceled delivery for no reason 3X in 4 months. What is the malfunction? No concern. They could care less. Thirteen-year-olds know if you say you are doing a job, you do it and certainly explain. The driver wanted to watch the football playoffs? Or would the car broke down? But Amazon is amusing. Just returned from a foraging trip to Whole Foods. While there a woman walked past us in the vegetable area of the store with a dog. This dog was NOT a service dog. I went to the customer service desk to complain and when I complained the woman looked at me as if there was blue smoke coming out of my ears. The entrance has a sticker stating that dogs (except service dogs) are NOT allowed in the store. It further states that 'emotional support dogs' are NOT allowed. I could tell the 'worker'' I complained to was not going to do anything or follow up on my complaint. In a patronizing tone of voice she said, "Thank you very much for your feedback." My response was, "You are not going to do anything about this. I could stand here and watch you for the rest of the afternoon and you will do NOTHING!" read more

Went here for a dessert craving. Wow, lots of options! And, lots of the pieces of cake were only $3. We went with the carrot cake and the Chantilly cupcake. As it turned out, the carrot cake was far too sweet, the Chantilly cupcake was really good with the creamy frosting. This is a pretty big store with so many unique offerings. The tall gentleman at the cake counter was amazingly friendly, providing details of the different cakes, and answering all of our questions quickly. Hats off to him! The gentleman at the speedy checkouts, not so friendly, it was almost like we were bothering him. Was glad to quickly checkout from him! They have a huge cafe in the front of the store where there's many tables for you to eat your dessert, or whatever you just picked up. This new Whole Foods in Ft Myers make me jealous. Why don't we have this in Miami? An acai bowl station that works similar to self-serve froyo, a crepe station, a gelato station, a chocolate truffle shop. Yup, feels like they manage to pick all my favorite food and put it in one spot for me! The cafe area is very spacious. There's even a little fridge on the counter where they keep condiments such as jams, mustard, ketchup, soy sauce, and butter. How fancy! The decor has a subdued earth tone to it, with a lot of wood, that makes for a very inviting shopping environment. Ok, so they don't have a wine bar... that makes me feel a bit better... read more

Better labeling and signage like at the food court buffet like area, much easier to maneuver. Has gone down hill in the last few years after COVID. I will list a few things that I have noticed. It seems that the local management and Amazon don't care any more about the quality and customer service. My wife and I have shopped at Whole Foods in Texas for 25 years before moving to Florida, so I know what a Whole Foods should be like. There is no comparison with the store here and the ones in the Dallas area. 1. No more juice bar (closed) 2. No more breakfast in the hot bar 3. No hot food placed out before 11 AM now. 4. Hot bar and cold bar quality and selections have gone downhill. 5. Terrible produce quality (old and spoils quickly) 6. Inventory is a joke...shelves are mostly bare when we shop in the latter part of the week (they are supposed to have delivery on Wednesday. 7. One checkout register manned...seems they want you to use self-checkout while paying premium prices. Have to wait around 5 to 10 minutes to get through checkout. 8. Seafood selection has disappeared (no variety) 9. Meats are mostly prepackaged...very little in the meat counter now. 10. Bakery - very limited fresh bagels and pastries. I haven't seen a Danish assortment in ages. Cakes/deserts are less than half of what they had 2 years ago (and they are loaded with a lot of bad ingredients...counted over 40 on the last label that I read). The Dallas stores always had a lot of to go items for a quick meal or snack...like dips, sandwiches, and different comfort foods. This doesn't exist in Naples. I don't know if Amazon has been in a cost cutting mode over the last few years, but you are losing customers by operating like this. My wife and I have decided to go to another store in the area to get the majority of our grocery items now since the Strada Place Whole Foods has gotten so bad. Disappointed...bland taste and they used Spaghetti (made with Durum wheat and water) and not lo mein noodles (made with wheat, egg and water). There is a taste and texture difference. The veggies were, well, they were present, at best. Like I said it was a very bland dish nothing was savory about it. And nothing like other Vegetable lo meins I've had. My rating is a 0 out of 5 on this one. For $9.99 - it was a waste. Second item I tried this morn was Nancy's probiotic low-fat cottage cheese (CC) I think it was $5.99. Expiration date is 8/8/23. To give you a comparison, I love Good low-fat and TJs low-fat CC. I scooped a bit into a cup this morning excited to try and it didn't taste like CC at all. It didn't have the texture of a good CC or the curds or maybe it was I couldn't get past the taste. If you like a cross between sour milk, buttermilk and expired CC, then you'll love this one. It was, uuuh... not good at all, to me. Rating 0 out of 5. I closed it up and returned it this morning. Exchanged it for 365 low-fat CC, which is delish. Kind of wish I waited to return it until after I tried the Lo Mein this aft, as I would've returned that one too. hope I have better luck with the other ready made foods I got. read more

I continue to be more and more disappointed in Whole Foods every time I shop there. Take this morning. They advertised whole red snapper on sale. We went specifically for that reason. We arrived a few minutes after the store opened and went straight to the fish monger. There is no fresh fish displayed only shrimp and various other shell fish. I asked for a whole snapper filleted. No can do the guy tells me because they are too busy filling orders. On line orders? Call in orders? Who cares, I'm standing at the counter and he can't help me? The he says they have snapper filets he can sell me. Sure, at $21.99/ per pound when the whole fish was advertised at $9.99 a pound. If he couldn't accommodate my order he should have offered the filets at the same or a slightly higher price. There are other similar examples we have experienced, but my solution to not to continue to shop there. read more

Worst Whole Foods I've ever been too! The wrap station isn't open... has a sign it's temp closed. I asked when they will open up at customer service. They let me know it's been like that for a long time.... There are two ppl standing behind the deli with nothing to do. Even Publix they have their employees do both. On the grocery store scale, this one rocks! I have been to many Whole Foods (in multiple states) and this store (which I understand has been remodeled) is beautiful. It is well lit and aside from groceries, it has a HUGE bakery with almost anything you can desire and best yet, I have never seen a store with a crepe station. The crepe station isn't just a place to get something to eat, it is a show. I stood mesmerized by the process and the "crepe" lady was so nice. She and I had a great conversation and she made a crepe to sample. As I watched, I realized it wasn't even a combination on the menu. She then confessed to her own "recipes". I come to Whole Foods Market since 2 years and the quality of the food and the staff have been constantly at the top of my expectations! First thing to notice is the staff: Professional, courteous, smiling, nice, trying to help all the time, every day, all the time! The team is amazing from the cashier (special award for Nicole) to the Pizza, to the Fish market, to the Ham slicer, to the restaurant staff and so on. I never had one bad experience in this store. This is just amazing. This is the only store I know with this amazing reputation and constantly exceeding customer expectations. Now about the food. Everything is fresh, never sick, nice fish market with good calibrated scallops, nice crabs, good sized shrimp. As a French, I like to prepare the salad with edible flowers and they have it all the time. Also good olives and tapenade, amazing French cheese, good wine, quality meat and traditional French baguette for the bread! They have also the best Prosciutto Cotto and Prosciutto San Daniele at a good price. Eggs are soy free, chicken without antibiotics which is nice to have. They have also the stuff called "bath bomb" which smell good in the bath (yes French take bath! ) and the black soap which is amazing and supporting the cancer organization. They have also a nice choice of flowers including the "Lavande" bouquet which is always fresh and smelling like in Provence. Finally they have a good selection of French wines including the Bordeaux, Saint Emilion, Châteauneuf du Pape, Château Margaux, Burgundy, Côtes du Rhônes and so on... In summary, very nice place to have fresh and quality food, with a nice staff. Monday night $8 beer and burger is so good. The staff at the bar is very friendly and are happy to provide beer samples to help with the selection process. Tip: the seafood soup/bisque bar is by the seafood counter far away from the hot/cold buffet. Lobster bisque and variety of clam chowders at the same price as chicken noodle/ lentil soups. Hot BBQ bar (love the brisket) close by the meat counter. The staff will heat empanadas in their ovens if you request it - this is a great little snack or lunch-appetizer. Masks are mandatory at all Whole Foods across the country to protect patrons and staff. At check out I noticed an issue between an older lady and the man waiting behind her. Bc of social distancing I was a little too far to hear. There seemed to be an exchange that was heated o soon realized he wasn't wearing a mask it was down on his chin. After losing my father in law to covid I take it very seriously and was furious at this mama arrogance and quickly realized what this exchange was about. I saw two Whole Foods check out girls literally ignoring it ( when they easily could have put an end to it but chose not to) one walked past me and I asked her why the man wasn't wearing his mask, she point blankly told me "I just work here, I don't enforce the rules". Which makes no sense whatsoever - if you work somewhere it's a PART OF YOUR JOB TO ENFORCE COMPANY POLICY! Just as I was about to speak up the older upset lady left and he moved onto check out (he also wasn't respecting the 6 feet apart) he now was LAUGHING about his exchange with the remaining check out lady working there. They were all laughing like it was a joke. I was infuriated. Once he left I asked why he wasn't wearing a mask and was told that if someone doesn't want to they don't enforce it. I told her that Whole Foods has a policy nationwide that ALL patrons and staff must wear masks or they can't enter. She blew it off and said some people can't wear them due to medical conditions - total bullshit. I explained that the young tall otherwise healthy looking guy was not suffering from anything that would require he wears his mask on his chin. She was so rude in her responses I was appalled. I asked for the store manager and she said he was busy talking to someone and eventually pointed to him in the doorway. Turns out the previous lady was talking to him already. I left the check out and was sarcastically told by the my check out lady "I hope your day gets much better". I spoke to the store manager and realized the lady was ill and has diabetes, she has no one to shop for her. She had asked the man to wear his mask and instead she mocked her along with the staff. The manager tried to stick up for his staff about Medical conditions or reasons to not wear a mask and I told him to cut the rubbish - it's like 1% of the population who truly are people who could not wear a mask. I'm talking about serious conditions and no asthma is not one of them even. There is literally no illness that a mask could hinder breathing. I also said that his two girls working there are appealing in the way they dealt with this situation. To be told they just work there but don't enforce the rules is ridiculous. The attitude thrown around is unbelievable to me. We are in the midst of a pandemic, companies are making policies for a a very real reason. It's simple you don't like the rules don't work there or shop there. I would take legal action if anyone in my family got sick after visiting a store not enforcing its own policies. Sadly this was a common issue in Naples and I'm not surprised - misinformation has ripped though some states in the country and Florida being no exception. But that's when you gotta hope that by visiting a trusted store that you know believes in science and has a policy for a reason that you would be safe. Turns out no. This location is extremely busy but the staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I make it a point to come here even though it's about a half hour from our condo. We love the deli area with the hot and cold foods. We have never gotten sick from eating here. We love the variety of foods they have. To some, it might be considered a bit on the pricey side but in our minds you get what you pay for. We would rather pay for quality of food.
