This company puts on a great "dog-and-pony show" of competence and patience to earn your trust, but the moment you are signed up, the price gouging begins. They even pretend to be overbooked, acting as if they are doing you a massive favor by "squeezing you in" or adjusting their schedule to accommodate you. We paid $300 for their "Deluxe Service," which was marketed as a proactive, comprehensive inspection. Despite this "thorough" check, the system failed within 48 hours in the exact area they were supposed to have serviced When we called them back to address the oversight, the "warranty" they claim to provide was non-existent. Instead, they charged $155/hour (a rate significantly higher than industry standards) and utilized predatory "flat-rate billing blocks." This meant we were billed for 3 hours of labor for a job that took a fraction of that time. When you add their 50-75%+ markup on parts, you realize you are now paying 4x-5x their initial visit price because they have you over a barrel Key reasons to stay away: Failed Inspections: Their "comprehensive" service is a facade. They failed to identify basic issues during a paid maintenance visit, then charged a premium to return and "discover" their own oversight. Predatory Billing: They require your credit card upfront so they can process the invoice immediately. This is a tactic to bypass any billing disputes--they take your money before you even have a chance to contest the unreasonable hours or egregious markups. Zero Integrity from Management: When these failures were brought to their attention, there was zero accountability and no attempt to make it right. They hide behind silly excuses rather than standing behind the quality of their workmanship or promised warranty. Do yourself a favor and find a reliable, honest plumber in the area. There are several of them, and this business unfortunately isn't one of them. Y'all... plumbers are the real MVPs! I had a customer overfill the toilet (yes... with that ). It was absolutely disgusting -- I tried to handle it myself but nope, couldn't do it. I have a strong stomach, but apparently not that strong! GNG Plumbing came highly recommended, so I gave them a call, and let me tell you -- they were at my place within an hour and jumped right in like it was no big deal. They were friendly, professional, and totally unfazed. I was seriously impressed! They turned a nightmare of a situation into a quick, clean fix. GNG Plumbing provides quality, professional, and polite plumbing services at competitive prices. Today they replaced my *31 year old water heater* they originally installed with a brand new one. I'm always impressed that the techs ask permission for anything, show me things I need to know as homeowner, and happily answer questions. They are great about cleanup too! Their text and phone appointment reminders as well as transit communication is hugely appreciated as well as appointment photo documentation too. They installed and service my grinder pump as well and replaced a frozen water line January 2023 too! Great company! read more

The Peninsula Gulf Shores Al. GNG Plumbing upon learning we were having a problem with our Grinder Station were immediate in their response. They were able to identify the problem and even though parts were needed, they were able to have the system running as a temporary fix until the next day. Until recently I would have given the company 5 stars. But we called and they came out to install a refrigerator ice maker. My husband told the plumber that there was a leak in the valve at the wall. The guy said it wasn't, that the leak was in the supply line. So my husband assumed he k ew what he was talking about since he's the plumbing professional. About three days later we got a call from the management company that there was a leak in the unit below us. Sure enough it was the valve just like my husband suggested. The owner was flabbergasted when I called and questioned it, asking that the technician make good on the repair. I have used the company for 17 years and til now, I would've given them 5 stars. Before I contacted GNG, I had two quotes for replacing my grinder pump. I was told that it was inoperable and had to be replaced. I called GNG after being delayed by 4 weeks and the same morning, met Levi and Alec. This was the first time someone actually inspected the pump (others just said, "trust me, I do this for a living, I don't need to see what lies underneath") The pump is operable, working just fine and I saved $7000.00 by calling a REAL PROFESSIONAL who included a full inspection and cleaning.
