Her business is clean, and beautifully decorated. She's friendly, professional, oh and did I mention quick?? What a relief to find a great waxing service in Fayetteville! Quick- check! Minimal pain- check! Good hygiene- check! G'nique's facilities are small, but clean, comfortable, and cozy. She's super friendly and makes you comfortable during the process. I was finished in about 15 minutes. She's good about checking with you whether you're comfortable, if you've had certain wax services before, if you're comfortable with the wax temperature, getting off any possible stray pieces of wax, etc... When we were finished, I asked her to remove a few strands of stray hair around my belly button and she was more than happy to oblige. Best of all, no tweezing needed at the end. I pay more for a Brazilian wax with her than I did back in Cali, but not by much. She's about $5 -$10 more, But for good reliable service, she's worth it. I checked in on Yelp and received a $5 discount. Savings are savings! Her prices are on her website, as well as in her shop, which I appreciate. Recommendation: She only takes appointments. No walk-ins. She's a one woman show and she's told me that almost all of her clients are currently wax clients, so she hasn't had time for couple's massages. I came here to get my second Brazilian wax ever . G'Nique was very through and confident throughout the whole process. I felt comfortable. It did feel a little rushed at times but I knew she was busy that day. The wax itself she used hard wax for certain areas and soft wax for others. I've noticed the places where soft wax was used hair is starting to grow back (about 2 weeks). But I think that's part of the learning process since I'm still new at this. After a few hours of research, I called and made an appointment with Genique for a brazillian wax. She did a great job, my only areas of concern as someone who has had a number of experiences waxing was she did not ask if I had a preference for what wax I would like. I personally prefer the soft wax. She used both hard and soft which I was not expecting at all. She also does not accept credit or debit cards, which was new to me. Had an appointment for a Brazillian wax about a week and a half ago. I arrived early but she took me right away. She is very friendly and good at distracting you with conversation while she works. The service was done in less than 30 minutes and I'm happy with how the results turned out. I came here today for my very first Brazilian wax ever. As a woman who is not really comfortable having my lady bits in the open breeze she made me feel so comfortable and as relaxed as possible given the situation. The room is sanitary, smells good, and has calming music playing while she works. I don't have anything to compare this to but don't think I'd find a better professional person to get me cleaned up. I had my first appointment with G'nique today and the experience was overall great. I've been getting waxed for years, and it is so hard finding someone who is good.. especially moving to a new area. She made me feel comfortable and checked the temperature of the wax to be sure it wasn't too hot for me. The conversation was great and it kept me distracted from the fact I was getting a Brazilian with someone I didn't know. I took all precautions after my wax got done and this has to be the worst experience ever. First whoever was scheduled to do my waxing didn't even make it in on time so the lady behind the desk did the waxing. Big mistake. She placed waxing strips all over my lady area and just began ripping them off one by one - and sometimes having to go once over with the same strip that she didn't rip off at the first attempt. She said since I'm pregnant it's super sensitive - no if she would have taken her time it would have been better. I'll do my full research on these "waxing" services around here before i make the mistake by allowing just anyone wax me again. I gave two stars because she charged 45 instead of full price and I was also bleeding when I got home- what a mess. read more

My eyebrows were only given an outline shape, but were not trimmed/shaped further. Underarm hair obviously remained and even required my return for correction. She was cordial and handled the error gracefully by offering my return the same day or compensation for the next visit. It has been two weeks since the service and my underarms have not healed.
