I've been going to QV Nails for almost 3 years. When I first started going, everything was nice. Vee made sure I was comfortable and did a great job on my pedi and mani. Because of work, I don't get there until after 5. My last few experiences have been horrendous. Quoc, is RUDE, ANGRY because I get there after 5, (they don't close until 7:30) is INPATIENT if my fingers aren't "relaxed". I no longer feel welcomed. I was so disappointed and disgusted from my last visit that I will NEVER EVER return. I really hate that I have to give them 1 star!!! read more

I'm reviewing this place ten days after I received my dipped nails so my review will be more truthful. My nails are still intact and beautiful! I honestly came across this spot on Yelp and the discount of 20% was very enticing. I chose to do a soak off and dipped nails for my choice. I had the owner, a very knowledgeable and sweet man, to do my nails and he gave me the best nail job I have ever had! I didn't feel rush and he was able to give me exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love the decor as well! The color scheme was very pretty and everything just seemed very organized. I really liked how as soon as you entered there was a IPad setup that let you choose the services you want and sign in. I haven't even talked about the best part, there is a kink bar with beer, wine, drinks and water! All complimentary, sadly I'm pregnant and couldn't enjoy the good stuff. The music was calming and just so clean ! Also if your in the military like myself, with the new regulation females have more nail color choices, this spot have plenty of neutral colors!!! One week ago (Wednesday, April 16, 2025) I was in the area and decided to stop at QV Nails Bar to request gel nails manicure and deluxe pedicure. I was greeted and seated at the pedicure chair right away. I only observed two other customers at the time. I was pleased with the services received, however by Saturday (3 days later) the polish on several nails had started to peel from the tip of the nails and were ragged and dry. I was out of town at the beach and was very embarrassed to show my nails around others. I returned to QV Nails on Tuesday (April 22, 2025) 6 days later to complain about my previous gel nails not lasting through the weekend and the "RUDE" manager agreed to fix them however chastised me for coming in after 3 days had passed. He began filing the gel off my nails with the electric filer and then reached for the polish as if he was gonna place the new gel over the old gel still remaining on my nails. I immediately asked him if he was going to remove all the old gel and prep nails before applying new gel. He became very rude saying that he is losing money and time redoing my nails every time I come back complaining. In a state of confusion, I told this "rude jerk" that I had not been to that shop in over 2+years so he was very much lying and unprofessional. He then said well I will go get the lady who did your nails last Wednesday to repair them but he will not do them again after 3 days has passed. I stated to him that I paid a total of $ 90 (gel manicure/pedicure) six days ago for professional services therefore I should not have to return for repairs if they had done them right the first time. The female joined in the conversation speaking a foreign language to the male. He informed me that she stated at the time she did my nails last Wednesday my nails were very oily and I also asked her not to use the electric nail file on my nail bed. I told the male that in the past the electric file had left my nail bed very thin and brittle. He said the electric file is needed to rough up the nail bed so that the gel can stick on better. I then stated that I do not understand how she now says the gel nails peeled because my nails were very oily? If they were oily the gel manicure and the washing of my hands should have taken care of that issue. At this point I just let them know that I would not continue to engage in such nonsense of blaming and that I would just write reviews of my bad experiences. The female then proceeded to give me the gel nail samples to pick out the color. Upon picking out the color which appeared to be a match with the previous color she came back and opened the bottle to lift the stick out and it was very thick. She added what appeared to be polish thinner to the bottle and as she started to clean the bottle I insisted on her using a new bottle of polish because apparently using that old polish is really what caused my gel nails to chip and peel so soon. She angrily compiled and got another bottle without adding anything to it. At this point I was so humiliated and just wanted her to finish so that I could leave and never come back to this place. I apologize for the long review however I wanted to be as detailed as possible in hope that it will help other honest paying customers avoid being charged and then blamed for services not rendered to your satisfaction. read more

I won't be returning for eyebrows, however. The shape is fine, but they took some of my skin off and now I have two scrapes one above each eyebrow. Not a good look. I went here on Friday June 10th to get a full in for a liquid gel fill in. I went in the ambiance was nice so I felt great about my decision to go here. As I got my nails done I zoned out watching videos. Looked at my nails after completion and thought they felt thin. I excused it because I figured everyone is different. Not even 24 hours later the first nail broke and what was exposed was tip only. No gel insight. The next nail broke, also no gel. Third nail broke still within 24 hours and no gel. At this time the shop is closed and closed on Sunday. I went to the shop that initially got my nails done and received a amazing job. I initially didn't go because of travel. I called QV nails and they said "ma'am if you got the nail fix I don't understand what you want me to do". I don't recommend them to anyone and never will. SAVE your $ and go somewhere else! This place does substandard work and refuses to fix it! I paid for dipped nails and a regular pedi. I commented to the tech that my nails looked dull and asked her to apply another topcoat. She then told me that only one is needed and that applying more would inhibit drying, but she applied one more coat. I told her it was still dull, but she would not add another coat and told me it was shiny. I was not happy but went on with my pedi, but the woman doing the pedi was not good, she applied the polish in a haphazard manner causing streaks and runs. I pointed it out to her, and got someone else to complete the pedi, but it still look amateurish (like I did it)! I paid $85 dollars and left. However, four days later I noticed my toe polish peeling and my nails looking extremely dull. After researching the common practices for dipped nails, I learned that it is recommended to apply at least three coats! When I returned and asked the manager to apply another topcoat and fix the flaky pedi polish he asked me to wait an hour and he would take care of it. HOWEVER AFTER WAITING AN HOUR, he said he would fix it for $10!!!! Are you kidding me!! Substandard work AND HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE! SAVE YOUR $$$ AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

Had an appointment at 4 pm. Was 15 minutes late due to traffic. My appointment was with Vee.....NEVER GOING BACK. I was told by Lee, the other nail tech, that Vee took another customer because I was late, and she thought I was not coming (they do not have a late policy that I was ever made aware of). He said I would have to wait an hour before she was available. No worries. I understood. What I don't understand or appreciate is Vee not keeping her word. She knew I was waiting. She never acknowledged me, spoke to me or offered to reschedule. I waited for an hour and a half. Not once did she call my name but instead, continued to take other customers. Usually, I would not wait that long but I was going out of town for an event and really needed a fill in and repair. After waiting, I realized what was about to happen...Vee was going to wait until almost time to close to tell me she couldn't do my nails. She should have said she couldn't do them in the first place instead of saying it would be an hour wait. By this time, it was too late to go anywhere else, so no fill in and repair for me. By the way, they only have two people doing nails which makes absolutely no sense at all. To ignore a paying customer is to ignore POTENTIAL paying customers. I used to refer people to this salon....never again. I hope no one is ever late for an appointment with Vee. If so, prepare to be ignored or take your money elsewhere. read more

This was my first time at QV nail bar. Vi greeted me and did my manicure. Jenni gave me my pedicure. I chose the ultimate pedi and Jenni did a great job! This pedi includes massage and she did gives a wonderful massage. My legs felt great and my toes and feet so much better!
