I researched several driving schools before deciding on Go & Drive. My daughter has had 2 of her 4 behind the wheel driving lessons and it has been a great experience so far. Prior to her lessons "M" was very anxious and nervous about getting behind the wheel. She was so excited after her first lesson with Cesar. M said Cesar was a fantastic instructor, patient and encouraging. She was very comfortable with him and relieved that he offered constructive criticism in a calm, gentle and non intimidating way. M has shown vast improvement in her driving as well as her confidence in just 2 lessons with Cesar. Now when we practice on our own I can sit relaxed in the passenger seat next to her and enjoy the ride without a death grip on the door handle, my feet braced against the floor board and jaw, toes and everything in between clenched tight. I love that Cesar gives me a full report after each lesson reviewing how M did and what skills she needs to work on. On her next lesson, he's going to have her drive out to ASU after finding out she will be starting classes there later this year. At this rate, I have full confidence that Cesar will have her ready to get her license after their final lesson. From initial set up to lessons, our experience with Go & Drive has been exceptional. As a parent, I think we can all agree that teaching your child to drive is stressful. I myself, was horrible at it. I contacted Go & Drive driving school and my daughters instructor is amazing. Angel came over and he was so nice, very honest and I really appreciated that. I knew I was not giving my daughter a fair shot at driving because of my own fears. My daughter came back from her drive and she is getting her license this Thursday. Angel let me know that she was a great driver and he said that he would drive with her anytime. We recently enrolled our son in driving lessons at Go & Drive, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. His primary instructor, Alec, was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the lessons. My instructor had a family emergency and had to fly out of the state which I absolutely understood. Go and Drive worked to ensure that I had an instructor to cover my lessons and even went so far as having Alex work on his day off. I was assured everything had been taken care of and my lessons would proceed as normal. This was also the expectation Alex had as well. I had 2 lessons scheduled today or so I thought. Mark arrived in the morning, prompt and on time which I appreciated. My 2nd lesson was scheduled later in the day at 4. No one showed up. I called the office 15 minutes before they closed and left a message, and I am still waiting to hear back. This is unacceptable. I am a busy working adult that purposely scheduled and utilized the time I typically have with my children during the weekend to get this completed because my time during the week is filled with work, my kids, schoolwork, etc. Now, I have no choice but to figure out scheduling during the week because my weekends are accounted for in the next few months. I really wanted to write a positive review and planned to do so until I was stood up without notice from Go and Drive, after their assurances that all my lessons would proceed as normal. read more

I needed to start driving and after tons of research I came across Go & Drive Driving School. I'm glad I did! I was very nervous and scared to start driving but from the very first phone call I felt like I was good in hands. Living in the west valley my instructor was Angel and he was BEYOND AMAZING! I was always nervous of being on the road, driving next to other cars, on the freeway, just plain holding the steering wheel in a death grip scared of driving! But after the first lesson with Angel, I was feeling less scared and more confident. By the second the lesson you'd think I was an entirely different person behind the wheel! And on the third day, you'd think I was driving all my life. Angel was a very patient and fun instructor; he made every lesson feel relaxing, comfortable, and a joy. He made me feel like I accomplished something big and left me with a huge smile on my face after every lesson. On the day of my road test, I forgot I was taking a test and was simply driving and parking like it was second nature! I'm a 37 years old who has always been afraid to get my drivers license. Called around to many schools to get prices, and other details. Spoke with Volker at Go & Drive, he was the only person I talked to that took a genuine interest in my question. He didn't sound bothered like some of the other schools I called. Once I decided to go with this school I went to their website and it was an easy process to get enrolled. Select date of first class, pay for class, and then got an email confirmation. My instructor was Angel. Angel was fantastic, he took the time to show me everything, and explained the why behind each aspect of driving. He also makes you feel more confident about driving. He makes you do the specific driving tasks till he feels comfortable with you performing each task, and more importantly till you feel comfortable with it yourself. The biggest lesson he taught me was never be in a hurry. I would recommend this school to any parent who is looking to get their children licensed, or to any adult who is like me. I dunno where to start. First of all, I just moved here in AZ from HI 2/17/2018 couple of days ago with my Drivers Permit from HI in my pocket after calling/email some of this Driving School near me but there was no avail. Hopefully, Go and Drive responded to my email and guide me through every process and Mr. Volker reach out to me, to make me understand how easy it is from my traumatic experience in HI just to acquire my Drivers Permit he gives me confidence together with his wonderful staff. I am currently working on my Driver License with Go and Drive. Today 3/7/2018 I acquired my Driver License. I thoroughly enjoyed the patience the instructor had with my son in teaching him! This is the second time we have used Go & Drive School for our children. Our first instructor was Mr. Angel for our daughter and what I enjoyed most with him was his "spicy" approach and she most certainly needed it to help her overcome her fear with driving and it has helped her become a driver who is willing to drive throughout the valley safely and with love of her passengers. He was amazing with my niece, too! The second instructor was super sweet but I was disappointed when we went to a third party MVD and the cost for the license costs $60. We went to a normal MVD for my daughter's license and paid the regular fee of $25 and I was not expecting this high fee. If I can suggest, please avoid third party MVD's due to these extra charges. Some of the people working in the third party MVD's do not appear to know what they are doing. read more

I am so happy and proud of myself to say that i now know how to drive because of Don I am now a license driver. What a kind and very patient instructor he was. He had helped me tremendously and teach me a great deal. I had learned so much in a very short period of time because of him considering i have zero driving experience when we started. I have been wanting to drive for the longest time and I thought that I never would be able to. My parents recommended that I sign up with Go and Drive and it was the best choice I had ever made. Go and Drive gives you many selections to choose from within your budget in order to learn how to drive as well a selection of vehicles to test out before you final test. I choose the Premium Service. It was a little bit pricey but, well worth the money. The trainers for this program were fantastic and educated me on everything I needed to safely drive, park, and learn the rules of the road. I was able to get my license within 4 days with the help of Go and Drives amazing trainers. Let me just say that this was an amazing company to work with. I experienced amazing customer service from the very first phone call I made to get information. They were so patient with me and answered every single question, and I had a lot of them, that I asked. My son had Doug as an instructor and he was amazing. He was patient and helped my son become a little more comfortable behind the wheel. He picked him up from our house and he was always punctual. My son, who is an introvert, really connected with him. I paid for the 10 hours of lessons because I had already been working with my son on the basics. I was prepared to pay for more if necessary, but Doug told me after his first lesson that he was confident he would be ready at the end of his session. They have a nice fleet of cars. He was excited to be the first one to test in Doug's Porsche. read more

I was really stressed about finding a good school when I stumbled upon Go and Drive.They had many good reviews and I took a lot of interest in the school.I was kinda bummed out when I saw it was in Phoenix but I didn't give up, so I called Volker who is the owner, he introduced me to my instructor Pamela who lives in Tempe like me.She was polite and respectful.She helped me learn how to drive and overcome the anxiety I had. Excellent! My son has ADHD. I was concerned about his ability to focus in the course and then the driving lessons without me there. I was quickly put at ease when I dropped him off. The instructors were warm and welcoming. He did very well in the class room course version. Then the driving started. I was a nervous wreck. However, the instructor, took the time to tell me what the plan was and when to expect them to return. I waited outside and was greeted by my smiling son. I received a report on his progress from the instructor and ideas of what we could practice on until his next lesson. I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Don and all of his colleagues. My 17yr old is extremely shy and had no desire to learn to drive.. I knew that I didn't have the patience to teach him but I was also hesitant to release him unaccompanied to a 3rd party. So after conducting extensive research, we settled on Go & Drive. This turned out to be the best decision! Brad was AWESOME. He was verify patient, always on time, with reminder calls, and very communicative on what we needed to work on. We had a less than positive experience with another instructor, but both the owner and Brad followed up and handled the matter appropriately. After a few extra classes with Brad, my son is a licensed driver. Brad did it all, administered the test and took my soon to obtain his license. One of the best investments ever.
