Well, that was great advice, because the gasket was still leaking when we got to Yakima. We called first thing Saturday morning and Ashley answered the phone and got us right in . After about 45 minutes we had a new gasket and no more leak and at a very reasonable price. It's this kind of friendly service and a real desire to help people that makes a business successful. The transmission ended up having some issues roughly 3 weeks in and we took it back. They repaired it and on the road I went. 2 weeks went by and as I went to-take my son to soccer I noticed transmission fluid under my car a huge puddle. Called better all and they got me in for Monday at 9:30 am. They looked at the vehicle and explained several times it was probably nothing they did. I have several years of mechanical experience and access to the diagrams and repair procedures. I had proof the part leaking was from a component that removed a few weeks ago. The lady was a little embarrassed when I proved her wrong and even the shop mechanic said "the part could leak after the component was removed and replaced" I still don't understand why they didn't use a new seal. Then also noted that they would not honor our warranty THEY gave us and we ended up being charged $135. They also did not ask if I wanted the work done. Then put the old seal back in and charged the diagnostic fee of $135. For the problem we diagnosed. Had verified and brought back to them. They also did not call me to tell me my car had been done for hours stating they did not have my contact information..... but I'm in the system as I bought the car there. It was a great experience up until they wouldn't take accountability on their work and they wouldn't honor the warranty they gave us. Very shady people doing very shady business and very shady work

Said they put it in for a repair order. Never heard back from them, called to find out what was going on and they told me the hinges were on back order. Ok great I confirm that I'm still covered if the back order takes too long, they confirm it's from the day I submitted it. I call monthly for over a year to check on the status and it's to the point where my 5 years is up. I call up again one day and they say the order has expired and we need to resubmit the request I drive back down there and they take new photos and submit. A day or so later they call and say it's out of warranty and jeep won't fix it. I say are you kidding me I've waited over a year for this and you guys are the ones saying it's on back order and I would be covered. They give me the jeep cares customer service number because "there is nothing we can do because you're out of warranty". I call Jeep cares I argue with them for weeks about it but they say that the dealership never submitted the initial photos (like zero record, they were able to pull up a previous oil change for reference). I told them the people I've talked to for over a year on this and that they are witnesses to me taking it in. The service managers name was Rory, and I talked with Sergio each time. But because they never submitted the paperwork and photos I am on my own for Jeeps shitty quality and the dealership totally dropping the ball.

Now the estimate was $1,031, which I didn't approve. Both issues, ignition coil and air/fuel sensor were on a free diagnostic report I got from an auto parts store before taking it to Bud Clary. When I picked up my car, the bill went from $576 to $628.(extra shop supplies) I paid it and tried multiple times to talk to the service manager, on the phone and in person. I did talk to the assistant service manager & gave him a letter for Brent, the service manager. The manager did not call me back. I will never do business with Bud Clary again.
