I reached out to a few movers to see who could assist with moving my gazebo from my rental house to my new home and this company agreed. I was fully transparent with what I was looking for and provided the instructions because I knew it was an odd task and I didn't want this to become exactly what it did... After two days and hundreds of dollars, I was left with a barely built and bent gazebo. This included whole pieces not put back on and a giant hole in the mosquito netting. Not only did they not complete the job, they ruined the gazebo. I received no reimbursement of any kind. And on top of everything, they were extremely late showing up both days and communication was terrible. I've returned to my house after being away from it for roughly 2 1/2 years. At the time of my departure, I had just buried my mother, whom I treasured. Before her demise, she lived with me for 17 years. The beautiful memories we once shared started to become a source of great sadness for me, and I really couldn't handle it. So I left. Fast forward to June 2023. It was time for me to stop running and finally deal with the grief and the sadness that came after losing my wonderful mother. However, there was one small problem......the house that used to be my home, was a complete DISASTER!!! I'm not exaggerating. This house looked like it could've been on the tv show, Hoarders! Every room was worst than the one before. There was so much trash and clutter everywhere, you couldn't even see the beige carpet underneath the mess. Yes, the original color of the carpet used to be beige. I can't even tell you what color the carpet is now due to all the trash and stains from pets, food and other stains. All I know is that this cleaning job was too big for me because the status of my house was truly the equivalent to the medical term, Code Blue. So I had to make an emergency call to help save my house, (FYI, I did NOT call the real 911). I called We Get Down & Dirty! I knew by the company's name alone that they were just what I needed! We set up an appointment day and time for the following week. (I wanna share and acknowledge that if I needed them to come out earlier, say the next day, they would have done so). Anyways, we set a day and time for We Get Down & Dirty to come out and clean my house that following week. The day of "surgery" was finally here! The husband and wife team was PUNCTUAL,(I definitely noticed that because being late is one of my pet peeves)!! These 2 people came in and transformed my house, (one room at a time), to a HOME once more! Despite being a fairly new cleaning company, We Get Down & Dirty is truly one of the best! They were so kind, accommodating, and very professional. They brought their own cleaning supplies and equipment, which was a plus in my book. They clean the carpet in two rooms' which was included in my package. They even gave me a discount because of my disability, and we worked out a 2-part payment plan. This cleaning crew did an awesome job at our Mom's house. They responded at the last minute and showed up! They came with all their own equipment with four guys. Great attitudes! Cleaned up an entire older home, cleaned rugs, windows, cleaned a nasty attic (wow! we were impressed). When they were finished, the home smelled so wonderful, all the mildew smell was completely gone! They even left toilet paper rosettes in the bathroom, now that was a surprise :) Our family was so impressed with these guys and would definitely hire them again. Awful, cannot trust. We set an appointment, they agreed. Then they called the day of to delay the time, no big deal. Then they called to jack the price another $50 than what was originally agreed upon and refused to say they had anybody on the way. They then asked what time we would like them show up, now already 1.5 hours later than they agreed upon. This company cannot be trusted and try to play games with you and your well being. read more
