Reaching out to this business was straight-forward, I emailed them and a kind woman called me by phone to setup an appointment. With any questions that she didn't know the answer to, she redirected me to email it so an electrician can better answer my question. I had my appointment scheduled and the gentleman, Doc, was assigned to perform the inspection. Doc arrived on-time, was detail oriented in his inspection, and was very patient to explain his findings and recommendations on what were a safety concern first, and what could be addressed later. He explained things over the phone thoroughly and explained his thought process and was open to any questions I had without being annoyed. Within a day, I received his inspection report, a quote for the project/repairs needed, and pictures of the inspection. He was also easy to reach by text. Doc was professional, courteous, and responsive. The cost of the inspection, I think, was a decent value. I highly recommend Veteran Electric to anyone seeking a safety electrical inspection and I hope I'm able to say the same about their quality of work when I hire them for electrical projects. Hiring a licensed electrician is not that much more (Last i checked Henshaw Electric charged $150 per fan; the half-wit handyman I hired through craigslist charged $100 per fan. SInce I had to get Henshaw to re-hang said fan it actually cost me $250), He also grounded all the plugs in & around my computer and installed a surge suppressor in the electric box to safeguard all my stuff. And yes, a licensed guy will charge a few bucks more but they are worth every penny. I can sleep at night knowing my fan or stove or whatever isn't going to burst into flames.
