I have a rental house in Spring, TX that I listed on the market for sale. Upon a home inspection, it was noted that my existing original main panel was not only outdated but was also a possible fire hazard and needed to be replaced. I reached out to Yelp who connected me with several local companies. Within less than 15 minutes, Travis (Owner) from Elijah Services Electrical was the first Electrical Contractor to respond. He immediately setup a same day time to have one of his technicians (Josh) go by the property to get an assessment of the work to be performed for an accurate estimate. Josh reached out to me to give me an ETA of when he would be there as well as a text message from the office. The communication was amazing throughout the process. His technician even suggested to cleanup the appearance of the side of the house by combing the new main panel and the existing sub panel. Therefore eliminating the sub panel all together. Travis was very quick and got back to me with a professional itemized quote shortly after his technician had arrived at the property. I ended up getting a total of 4 separate quotes for the same scope of work and Travis had beaten the competitors quotes by a mile, just as he said he would. Travis and I spoke several times both on the phone and via email on this day. He answered all my questions and made me feel very confident in my decision to have his company take care of my needs. This took place on a Friday and we set a date to do the work on the following Tuesday. We added a few other electrical items inside the house that needed to be addressed as well (which was included in his original quote). Tuesday came and I received a text from the office notifying me that Josh was on his way. Shortly thereafter Josh called me to give me his ETA to the property. Let me just add that I live in a different state a 1000 miles away and all of this is being done remotely. There is a key box located on the property so Josh had complete access to do his job. About 6 hours later I started receiving text from Josh with photos of the completed work followed by a phone call. He told me the work was completed, answered a few questions I had, emailed me an invoice to review while on the phone. I looked it over and it was exactly what I was quoted. No hidden fees or charges. I gave a credit card number and the next thing I know I received another email showing it paid in full. This is all happening in real time. I thanked him for doing such outstanding and professional work and we ended our conversation. Then I received a call from Travis minutes afterwards just to go over everything and to let me know that he is updating the paid invoice to include some verbiage that he and I discussed. Like the fact that he gave me a "Lifetime Warranty" on the panel and it's "Transferable to the New Owner's"! Are you kidding me? All I can say is Elijah Services Electrical knocked it out of the park!!! These guys were quick to respond, very professional, did stellar work at a great price and their communication throughout the process was outstanding! I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. Best experience I've had with a contractor doing work in my home. I wanted to install a new 150 AMP panel because my existing 30 year old panel was starting to show its age. Travis came out to inspect my panel and gave me a quote on the spot. The pricing was very fair so we scheduled the work for a few days later. The work was performed on time and looks great. I also mentioned I wanted a whole home generator so Travis gave me a quote for that as well. The price for the generator was very competitive so we will be getting that done in the near future. Travis reached out to provide a quote and got Alex to come out to our home to diagnose the problem. I ordered the part and it came in yesterday and he had Alex & Josh to replace the bad battery charger and replace it with the new one. The Technicians are professional, courteous and efficient. Travis (the owner) showed up on time that was promised! We were having a built in generator issue. Travis checked everything over and it was determined that our heater was the "issue" . But it was odd that during the big freeze we never had an issue with our generator running our heater. So once the issue was figured out Travis left. I called my husband and asked him if the generator also ran our back house. Well the answer was yes! So I called Travis and asked him if that could be our issue. Travis said he would come right back. So he checked the power once again but just for the back house. That was the problem we were trying to run 2 heaters at the same time! Excellent value with fine attention to detail for my specific project - no cookie cutter one size fits all. No hidden fees, nickel-and-diming, or deviation from the price promised for the work requested. Josh was friendly and professional. He went the extra mile on a couple of things, helping me figure out an unrelated issue which I will fix myself. He made me aware of an upgrade and something else that needed attention, but neither were essential. When offered a very fair price for both, I went ahead with the extra work.
