Here you can go kart, play any number of arcade games, and really have a fun time! It's fairly affordable, family friendly, although there is quite a bit of noise throughout the whole place. It's not a bad thing but it definitely can't be loud, make sure you prepare yourself! Super fun though and definitely a place I would recommend coming for a family night out. Pretty cool spot for the kids and adults. Downstairs has all the arcades and upstairs has the pool tables/air hockey. You can also bring your own food and beverages. There are picnic tables that can be located upstairs on covered patio. The go karts were fun and well maintained. We love this place! The line for the Go-Karts can get a little long, but they have plenty of staff managing it to make sure everything goes smoothly. I really appreciate the time they take to make sure each and every person is secured in their seats, and if someone gets stalled out or turned around on the track they are there in a split second to help. The laser tag is amazing!!! Seriously so much fun. So many rooms to hide in and targets to shoot on the walls to score extra points. The rooms are so well decorated I would love to have 15 minutes just to walk around and explore, outside of a game. The arcade games are great as well, and there is a very good selection that is included with the play cards. The staff is all friendly and welcoming and you can tell the truly love working there. made the mistake of bringing my family around 5:30pm which is in their peak busy. Soooo crowded, no social distancing, and the gokart wait was long (about an hour and a half). The most annoying thing was that every minute the kart would stall out for 5 seconds. We had the super karts ($9 per ride), 2 seater ($10), and regular ($8) karts and they all had this problem. Do any of you who are old enough remember that arcade that was in downtown Main St. towards the Northern end of the sky scrapers? Yes, that one with the glass all over the front with the door indentation to enter. Remember it would be immaculate in there, a guy always cleaning the glass and machine faces with windex? Constant every hour whinning of the carpet being vacuumed or swept? Every machine was working and you were still excited about playing Pac Man? Well of course those days are long gone but forward 30 years and you almost have a glimpse to what you can feel again here. I came back yesterday and the day before promising the owner that I will make a return visit with my son this weekend in which I did with also my daughter in tow. They always have a good time here and both get excited, that is a big plus.....ok I get excited too because the pinball machine that I always play always works and I can play an hour and a half with $3 worth of tokens. Friday night when I came I was wondering what happened to the clientele, it was about midnight and there were about 7 people inside. I was hoping that this isn't a trend because my place that has my favorite pinball machine might disappear. Where else can I go and make $3 last an hour and a half? It was irritating not knowing that 15 minutes before 1 a.m (I thought it closed at 2 a.m) before the security guard donned a big push broom and came around to tell me that they closed in 15 minutes while making a sweep past me. Dangit, bad timing, I put $1 of tokens twenty minutes before and was winning free credits left and right, I was on the ball. Well, needless to say hurriedly I lost all credits and left. Next day, came back with reinforcements, son and daughter, gave them $10 each, all I needed was $2, continued my journey into the world of McWilliams Getaway. This time, Saturday, it had a pretty good crowd, glad for this business. Parking lot here is ample compared to the days when it first opened which I can remember maybe 20 years ago. The interior still needs a little T L C but not as ghetto as the amusement business off of Hempstead but not as clean as the place down the road by Willowbrook. Pros: Security guard always on premise (commissioned might I add) Games reasonably priced (not .75 just to play a pinball game and still there are .25 games. Ample parking More than 2 pool tables on the 2nd floor At least 2 air hocky tables on the 2nd floor $10 gets you not 40 but 50 tokens Decent sized Go Kart track and not just going around in circles. Personnel are either stoic or have a good attitude, no rudeness encountered, yet. They stay open to at least 1 a.m on weekend nights (not like the other place that closes at 11pm *wth!?* by Willowbrook The clientele is decent here. I think they all hang out around Hempstead location or something. Very easy to find, if you missed it while passing by, your driving with your eyes closed. Cons: Junk piled in the corner where my favorite machine is, an eye sore Pinball machines are still right by the restroom doors (I hate the eye sore everytime the door opens, which leads too.. Very atrocious bathrooms and the floors right in front of them (I think I'll run home 5 minutes away before I ever had to go here, or go find a bush) Right before closing they pour 5 gallons of pine sol or similar on a mop and distract your gaming so you get the hint that it's about that time. Other than just a few minor things I would stand this business above the place on Hempstead and Willowbrook anyday. It needs cleaning but we're all here to have a little fun and now worry about cosmetics right? Tonight is the first time and the last time I will ever come here. Do not come here. My high school son came with a group, and I brought my younger son too. We bought two $35 wrist bands for unlimited go-karts, laser tag and arcade games for 1 hour. The arcade games require a physical cars to swipe in order to play. My younger son accidentally had his gaming card come out of his pocket while riding go-karts. He has on athletic shorts...it happens, especially with kids. The go kart staff took a lap around the track and couldn't find it. He had 30 minutes left on his time and the people inside said "unfortunately we can't refund your card or give you another card." I asked nicely, in a clam manner. I'm not demanding to see a manager like a Karen. But.... Really? What's it going to hurt to give him another card? What money are you losing? You already have my $70 and the arcade Games are going to be there whether he plays them or not. I'm not asking you to make a physical thing he lost, or to make us another meal, it's time on arcade games that aren't moving and cost no more money if they are played or not. To give a child another arcade card will cost this business NOTHING. Or to mention, The same person telling me He can't have another card saw me buy the card which gives him unlimited games 30 minutes earlier, so I'm obviously not trying to scam anyone! I know a business needs to make money, and I'm not asking for anything free. The facilities were actually a lot nicer than I thought they would be. The only thing this place lost tonight is a repeat customer - I have 4 kids who love go-karts. And I will certainly let everyone I know how my son was treated. I'm not upset for me, I'm an adult and have thick skin, but to tell my son he can't play anymore games because the card accidentally came out of his pocket is ridiculous. Kids lose things sometimes. We've been karting here for 20 years. We won't be back. So disappointed. The karts run like crap, and they now turn you off for no reason.

This is a really nice place to go to let the kiddos let loose and enjoy themselves...they're three different types of karts you can drive...the normal single seater...a double seater...and the turbo charge kart...all are pretty fast...the time limit is pretty long as well...so you can have a decent race...the inside has all kinds of old school games...from the first Street Fighter...to Centipede...the best part is...they're only a quarter to play...there's also laser tag upstairs...but we didn't get an opportunity to play it...my overall thoughts on this location is good...and you would enjoy it read more

This review is solely on my recent go-karting experience. I'll start off with the negative: Parking. I went on a Sunday evening and there was no parking. People were parked in the middle of the parking lot, and there were several cars stalled just waiting for a parking spot to open. Luckily I was able to snag a spot since the car right in front of me was leaving... but still, come prepared to wait for parking. They have signs that state they have additional parking, but I had no luck locating these "additional" parking zones. Asides from the parking however, we were quickly attended by the cashier, and he explained to us some of the specials they have for go-karting. My boyfriend and I ended up choosing the 4 ride super-kart deal for $25, meaning each of us would ride 2 times. One weird thing about this place is the way the line for the go-karts is built. The fences are very close to each other, and when you try to walk you WILL rub up against people, theres just no way around it. The go-kart line is slightly longer than one would want it to be, but the super go-karts have their own line, and this one was very short. Theres only one racing course, but go-karts race by themselves, as go super-go karts. What I really enjoyed about this place was the speed and potency of the super go-karts. Those things are very speedy, and I was not prepared for that. Several times I felt like I was going to roll-over, crash, flip and basically die. But it was so much fun! The course has enough turns to keep you engaged, and I actually felt like they provide a good length of time to ride. Basically if you want to drive like a maniac, speed, and crash into people without getting a ticket, then this the place to go and let out your inner stunt driver. read more

For an old place, this game room is pretty well kept up. I brought my kids here to ride the go carts one day. Though we spent nearly $100 buck in the matter of minutes, we enjoyed a few rides. Like Julianna said, the race track is different from the boring circle track that some of the other places have. The go carts are pretty fast too. This is one of my top 3 go-kart tracks in Houston. I've been coming to this location for a long time!! I've never used any of the indoor amenities such as pool, video games or kids games, I mainly stick to the go-karts. They have 3 pricing structures ranging from $6-8 per ride if you only plan on riding 1 or 2 times. If you plan on being there a while, you should consider the ride packages which will save you at least $1 per ride, or more. I've asked about unlimited ride options, but they say they don't have any, like some other places in town. For me, the negatives here are the long lines when you come during peak hour, and smelling the fumes during the waiting period. Oh and the lines are very narrow and once you get in line, it's sort of hard to get out, since you're fenced in. Not a good place for claustrophobics! The best deal in my opinion is the Super Karts ($7/ride), since the line is always much shorter, you will get to ride more often in a shorter period of time. These go so much faster than the 1-seater regular or 2-seater go karts. The go-kart staff outside is always friendly and you can usually get away with a little bumping, or reckless driving, even though you're not supposed to. Check their website for BOGO coupons for the regular go-kart. If you're on a budget, the best thing to do is ride the 2-seaters, but you will have to wait in the regular kart line, which is long sometimes. read more

My family came here with our boys (4 and 12) and they both had a great time! It was slow when we first arrived (around 4 on a Saturday) but the staff were nice enough to announce that my my 12 year old and his friend wanted to play laser tag in hopes to draw a few more players. It worked and they had fun! I really liked that the arcade had games that appealed to both my 4 year old and 12 year old. A $20 card with the bonus play was plenty for the kids, as many of them are affordable. The whole family enjoyed the go karts. While we had the option of buying an hour wristband, we opted to pay per ride because there were clouds in the distance and we knew they don't offer refunds, just more game play time. We did witness a patron get extremely angry (like, call the police angry) with the staff about their no refund in rain policy, but I felt the staff did their best to try to keep everyone else safe during the incident. read more

Came here on Friday night around 11 and it was full of life! Parking was a bit challenging but expected for a Friday night. Prices were fair, I participated in the go-kart and arcade. The cashier was a little tudey but thats expected when you hire teenagers. The absolute worst experience of my life. We booked a private party here for my nephews birthday. They didn't allow guests of our party to ride go karts due to rules that were never explained. It was not necessarily even the fact that they were not allowed to ride, but the way he spoke to my guests and the tone he used was definitely not an appropriate way to speak to a child much less someone who has spent a large amount of money to rent out the facility for a private party. I will never come here again and certainly would never recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other places to choose from. One star is too much for this place. read more

They got you in quick but they need to have different age groups so the kids aren't getting smoked.I love how they will pull people who aren't being safe and hitting other karts. We went last week for the first. The place is really neat. It has a huge game room inside. Of course you have to buy tokens for everything. I completely recommend the super karts. Those are fast and fun. Prices are a little bit high but I think you will find that in any go cart track. They do sell some food but just FYI you can bring pizza and not have to worry about it. I really like coming here! Big race park so you're not just going in circles. Arcade games are pretty cheap compared to others. They have a room upstairs with pool and hockey tables, photobooths. The carts are pretty slow. There are two levels of cart (super and regular). The super carts might go almost as fast as Speedy's. The regular are almost dreadful. Nice track. Slow vehicles. read more

I am visiting from Arizona and decided to try this place with some friends . The go carts were the best part, the course is unique and the carts themselves are pretty fast. I also did laser tag which was unique the room had different themes instead of just a dark space to run around in . Lastly we ended the night with arcade games new and old .
