We love go karts. We usually get the biggest package and then spend more. Every place in town is excellent, except this one. Some kids were driving rowdy (definitely rammed us),so they stopped the race. Instead of pulling the kids and letting the rest of us finish the last 80 of the ride, they just boned all of us. No apology. No resolution. Just f*ck you, we got your money. Manager defended it, because some people were just raised wrong. Aside from the place being run by thieves, it was a shit hole. I used the men's room twice and the piss on the floor from the first time was covered in vomit the second time. Worst go kart place in Houston, hands down. Go anywhere else.

Came here with my family, my B-I-L, and 3 nephews a couple of weeks ago. First impression was that this place looked a little dated - both on the outside and inside. Biggest positive here is that it's fairly cheap to get into a go cart and a little kid going for the 1st time would get a kick out of it. Such was the case when I drove tandem with my 8-year old nephew who was too short to be allowed to drive a solo cart. If you or anyone else with you has ever experience K-1 or anything of that caliber, then this place will put you to sleep. The carts are not very fast and they don't even give you helmets to wear! Uhhh, "safety first"? Nope, not here. Again, you're not going super fast but one would think that they'd want to minimize any liability. Guess not. On the track, they don't allow any bumping at all. If you do, they will flag you down and tell you to cut it out or tell you to bring your cart in. That's actually smart...especially considering no one wears helmets! The arcade games and such inside are just black holes to suck your money out of your pocket. Didn't even see any really great prizes you can redeem your arcade tickets for. Again, if you don't want to spend a lot of money to take a kid out carting for the 1st time then give this place a whirl. If you like speed, value safety, and visual appeal then this may not be the ideal spot. Kudos though to the friendly staff. The 1st skee ball machine I tried ate up 2 coins and didn't ever start. When I went to the desk to inform them, the staffer didn't even come out to look at it. He just handed me 2 coins as reimbursement. I may come back here with the young 'uns to kill some time on the cheap but that would be about it.

This is a very fun place to visit. It is very family oriented. They have tuns of arcade games. You can win tickets from the games you play that can be used towards prizes! The staff was very friendly and eager to answer any questions. They also have go cart riding witch was very fun. They have hand sanitizer at the entrance. It wasn't too crowded when we went but I'm not sure how it is on other days. Definitely a place I would consider visiting again.

We stopped by on Saturday after a soccer game and the guys at the go-cart track were incredibly nice to my 9 year old. She was a little scared to drive her own go-cart. They offered us to switch to a 2 seater and when she decided to drive her own go-cart, two of the gentlemen working the track went to her and made sure that she was comfortable. I feel they went above and beyond. This is a hopping place! It has multiple tracks and you can buy an hour unlimited rides and skip the line.

Yes the cars are super slow and out dated. I'm not sure if the guy who helped me was high or super sleepy.

$25.00 for an hour of unlimited go-kart rides! What a deal! We will be back. The staff could have acted a bit happier, but they were nice.

This place is a complete joke operating like typical shade tree mechanics! Anyone wanting to buy…read morethese should go to Power Motorsports off Harwin saving 500 to 1k first off! Knock the middle man out saving hundreds maybe thousands! As a matter of a fact, I bought a 125 & 150cc from their distributor saving $800! Once my boys got older I sold them! I had set an appt to get my 4 wheeler back up and running and in like 2 days I was told it had an electrical issue that would take longer than expected that they didn't want to fix! The guy was like it's going to cost an arm and leg so I replied so I want it running! I was told to come pick it up because they had other atvs sitting with faster repairs to make money off! I was hot!! Carburetor issues and shaking apart galore!!! If u got the money go buy a Honda, Polaris, or a Suzuki! These things really a joke if you don't know how to work on them! They smile and shake hands taking that new money, but once u come back for service is when you deal with the "grim reapers"!

This place is absolutely the most dependable and consistent motorsports facility I have ever done…read morebusiness with. Most of the time, a facility has a strong sales department that makes you feel like you are their only customer. They bend over backwards to help you, so they can make a sale (of course). Then, when you have issues with your ATV, dirt bike or go-kart, you are out of luck. Not the case here at BOR Motorsports! Their sales is amazing, no pressure and very informative. Then after you buy, if you call with a problem, they ACTUALLY answer. Not only do they answer, they ACTUALLY try to help you over the phone so you don't have to bring your vehicle in. BUT... if you have to bring your vehicle in, they take care of you ASAP and with such professionalism. Their shop is so clean and organized, it makes me wonder if they ever have to use it! I took my son's go-kart in yesterday because it wouldn't start. They took it off the trailer, then proceeded to go through it right then and there (instead of telling me to come back in two weeks like most other places). The mechanic spent about twenty minutes working on the go-kart before finding the issue. A total "user error", something my son and I had accidentally done with a wire. So... most places would charge at least $50 for their time. Not BOR Motorsports! They just loaded up my go-kart and sent me on my way! This is a top notch facility and has a wonderful team to work with!!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

I went for a 15 lap package on a cold (46 F) overcast day. The check in at the front was efficient…read moreand friendly, even though I am sure the employees were freezing. I watched a group of cars for about 15 minutes before my class, from the stands, the cars looked slow. Then I saw the pro-drivers taking people on a ride along. They went fast. Most of the public was driving slow and probably scared to go fast. I attended the class and then waited my turn. The full time staff is great, but the kids they hire for a couple of days are poorly trained and not knowledgeable at all. On my ride along, I had to switch cars because the belts were too tight on the one they put me in and my helmet was hitting the top of the car. I am not that big. 5"10" about 200. The driver was great and gave me lots of instruction. It was well worth it and he showed me just what the car (and he) could do. When they put me in my car to drive, I knew right away it was too tight. The seats are welded to the floor. No adjusting. The steering wheel was in my chest, literally and my head hit the roof. The kid who was trying to buckle me in (and didn't know that job well either, I had to help him untwist the belts) told me it was ok. I said no it isn't and just started unbuckling and getting out. The manager came over and agreed it was too tight and put me in another car. I asked the same kid at least 10 times if he had inserted a SD card for the video. In a minute sir, I'll go get it, etc. Finally the spotter in the stands radioed me and told me to go. I went. I took one lap at a reasonable speed and then drove the way the pro driver showed me. It was fast, the tires even on a cold day stuck in the corners and I went hard our of the corners and down the straight, braked hard then smooth acceleration around the corners. The spotters had me pass 5 times other drivers so I must have been going good, or at least better than those on the track with me. I had the track to myself for 5 laps and went faster. It was a blast. I will do it again at a bigger track. This is a 3/8 mile and you only get up to about 85 - 90 MPH on the straights. When I got done the same kid came to get me out and then I said make sure you get the video card and guess what, no camera is even in that car. That was a mistake by the manager and the kid. No one checked even after repeated requests on my part. When I got out of the car I went to the manager and he apologized and told me I could have a refund or get a photo plaque of me sitting on the car with my helmet and a cap or t shirt. My choice. I said what about another drive with the video. He said he could arrange that at another date as they were booked out for this run in Houston. I took the photo plaque and a cap, like I need another cap. All in all it was a good time, but more training is needed on the temp help. These kids no almost nothing and putting me in a car that did't fit is downright dangerous. I am glad I took control of my own situation but I still got burned on the video. When I go again it will be at a super speedway like Talladega where I was told you go about 150 MPH. If you have your won full face helmet bring it. I should have brought mine. Fits better and a thousand others have not used it. The visibility is not the best in the helmet I wore.

I have now been twice to this experience at the Houston Motorsports Park. I find it absolutely…read morethrilling especially with the great discounts you can get through Groupon and Living Social. One thing I have found is that some people misunderstand what this is at this location. This is an experience to see what it is like to be on a race track, driving in a real race car, and with other cars on the track where passing is encouraged. The key here is that most people don't know what it is like to drive a race car and especially how to drive around a short circle track. Because of this alone I have seen that most people have an unrealistic expectation of what the experience is. This is not about how fast you are going to go. Daytona and Talledega are 2.5 mile tri-oval Super Speedways where the PROFESSIONAL NASCAR drivers are driving at speeds of 180+mph. Bristol Motor Speedway is a .533 mile oval track with heavy banks where PROFESSIONAL NASCAR drivers are driving at speeds 120+mph. The Houston Motorsports Park is a .38 mile circle track. You are not going to go 180mph much less 120mph on a .38 circle track. This is not about how fast you are going to go. In my opinion in order for you to get the best experience you must buy the Ride A Long with a Driving Experience. This is for two reasons. The first is so that you can get a feel and understanding for what it is like to drive around this particular track with someone that knows what they are doing. Without this understanding you are completely short changing yourself in the Driving Experience. The second is because this is going to be your chance to go the fastest around the track. If you don't do the Ride A Long and you only do the Driving Experience you are going to be spending half or more of your time trying to get comfortable inside this powerful vehicle that you have never driven before in an environment you have never been in before. Spend some time on youtube and watch other peoples experiences. They are great to set the expectations. If you are fan of racing in any way shape or form I think this will be an experience you will never forget. Just go into it with the right mindset. I enjoy it so much that I will probably make it a yearly tradition.
